Four-year-old drowns in pond near Flesherton, Ont.
First responders were called to a farm off of Southgate Road 26, in Proton Station, around 7 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the child went missing while swimming with family.
The body was found in the pond on Monday morning by the OPP's Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
OPP said their Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, as well as fire and emergency services from Owen Sound, Hanover, and Southgate, assisted with the search.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 3:40 a.m. from a passerby who noticed bullet holes in a building on Jarry Street near Pascal-Gagnon Street. 'When police officers arrived on site, they located those impacts, and there were some gun shells that were found on the floor,' said Jean-Pierre Brabant, a spokesperson with Montreal police. There were no reported injuries, and there have been no arrests. Brabant notes officers remain on site to look for witnesses and examine security footage in the area.
