Ore Oduba says hiding his hair loss when he did Strictly Come Dancing was "hard but absolutely necessary".

The 39-year-old TV presenter - who started losing his locks in 2009 and resorted to using hair loss spray, then tablets to try and reverse the balding - took desperate measures to hide his bald patches when he took part in the hit BBC Latin and ballroom dance show in 2016.

Taking to Instagram to share a timeline of his hair loss journey in a picture carousel on Tuesday, Ore wrote next to his Strictly publicity shot: "Hiding my hair loss during Strictly was hard but absolutely necessary.

"I'd visit my trusted barber every Friday night so my hair and hairline was tight and tidy, my fibres did the rest."
The star and his professional dance partner, Joanne Clifton, 41, won Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
And Ore could not have his head in his hands to react to the shock of winning as the star feared he would have messed up his hair.
Captioning a photo of him reacting to winning Strictly Come Dancing in the same photo carousel, Ore wrote: "My mind fully emptied from the shock... but I still had the wherewithal to know not to touch my hair when I had my head in my hands for fear it would look messy or out of place on camera."
Elsewhere in the photo carousel, Ore admitted he feared losing his TV career if he had shaved or gone bald in 2019.

Captioning a red carpet photo of him, the star explained: "It'd been nearly 10 years of hair insecurity and I was desperate to just shave it off.
"But here's the really sad thing ... I didn't know any bald presenters on TV (that hadn't been actors or pop stars before, I see you Marvin Humes and Ross Kemp!) and I was SURE I'd never get a job again if I went shaved or bald."

And Ore also revealed in the photo carousel that he would ask picture editors to "colour in my hair" so people would not notice his bald patches.
Captioning a publicity shot of him taken in 2015, Ore revealed: "My TV profile was starting to rise, and by now I'm pretty adept in my hair 'system' routine.
"I was even confident enough to ask photographers/editors to 'colour' in my hair so you couldn't notice even when you zoomed in pictures."

Princess Andre, 18, teases drastic career change after reality TV success

Princess Andre has revealed her next career move following the breakout success of her documentary, The Princess Diaries. The 18-year-old has been making numerous headlines in recent weeks following the season finale of her hit ITV2 reality show. Earlier this week, Katie Price hit back at her ex-husband Peter Andre after he shared a blistering Instagram post in which he strongly criticised his ex-wife after reported comments about his children's welfare. Princess then responded to the drama, saying: 'I love my mum and dad and that's all that matters.' Now, however, the 18-year-old has opened up about a potential career change in an exciting development. Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'I want to be a successful businesswoman which I am actually heading towards at the moment. So hopefully in five years time, it will all be up there. 'I also want to get into music.' This comes after her father Peter shot to fame with his 1995 hit Mysterious Girl. Her brother Junior, 20, also shared his five-year plan, saying: 'Music, acting, business stuff, some clothing stuff, some fragrance stuff, just all of that stuff. 'We've got amazing things coming. Obviously the industry is very [up and down] but it's always about picking yourself up and getting back to it.' Katie and Peter first met on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2004 and went on to have two children together – Princess, 18, and Junior, 20 – before separating in 2009. In her new ITV series, the show focuses on Princess's relationship with fame and carving out her own reputation beyond her celebrity parents. Princess also opened up about the difficulties she faced growing up with 'a lot on her plate'. The social media influencer, who has 782k followers on Instagram, shared what she went through after Katie and her ex-husband Kieran Hayler broke up in 2018 after five years together. She said: 'We got really close to him and loved him. He did a lot of stuff, and when they split up, everything kind of went downhill. My mum, obviously, being heartbroken, didn't deal with that the best way. 'She went through a very, very dark time, which was understandable. It was hard for me because I was around adulty things that kids should never see. More Trending 'I think, as well, when we needed our mum there, she wasn't emotionally able to be there because she had so much of her own problems going on.' This prompted Kieran to apologise to his former stepdaughter. The personal trainer, 38, said he regrets his multiple affairs that ended his marriage to Katie, which had a devastating impact on Princess's childhood. Wynne Evans makes shock return to BBC months after axing amid Strictly scandal

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Wynne Evans appeared on a BBC show over the weekend despite his apparent departure from the corporation earlier this year Former Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans made an unexpected appearance on a BBC show tonight. It comes after the corporation said it had "no plans" to work with him following his exit from the live tour and his radio show. ‌ Wynne, 53, however, appeared on an episode of Pointless Celebrities that aired on BBC One earlier tonight. He was paired up with Joanna Page, who was his co-star on Wynne & Joanna: All at Sea, which isn't set to have a second series as the BBC said in June that it has "no plans" to renew it. ‌ It comes following his apparent departure from the BBC earlier this year. It had been reported that it had severed ties with the opera singer, known for the Go Compare adverts, and had confirmed that it didn't plan to work with him further. ‌ The pre-recorded episode of Pointless Celebrities that aired tonight saw Wynne and Joanna make it to the penultimate round, but they missed out on reaching the final together. The other team, Jane Hill and Ben Boulos, who both work on BBC News, became the finalists instead after winning the round. They had competed against two other pairs earlier in the episode. RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard had been with impressionist Jess Robinson, whilst comedians Esther Manito and Rich Hall had worked together. Prior to the episode airing tonight, Wynne had told fans on Instagram that he would be in it. He wrote beside a photo of himself and Joanna on the set: "Tonight back on [BBC One] for Celebrity Pointless with [Joanna]." Some viewers seemed surprised to see Wynne on the show this evening. One wrote on X: "Wynne Evans? This must have been recorded 10 years ago?" Another said: "Seriously??? Who the hell thought Wynne Evans appearing would be a good idea." A third wrote on the platform though: "Well done [BBC] - Wynne on Pointless - common sense at last." It's not been confirmed when the episode was filmed. One viewer suggested it could mark Wynne's final appearance on the BBC though. They wrote in a post on X earlier tonight: "This could be Wynne Evans's last BBC appearance." ‌ The episode's broadcast this weekend comes after the BBC was said to have cut its last remaining ties with Wynne. He had worked with the corporation for years, including hosting his own BBC Radio show for almost a decade. it was announced back in May that the BBC had "no plans" to work with him in the future though. It comes following a series of scandals during his time on Strictly Come Dancing last year and its subsequent tour earlier this year. ‌ During the tour, it was reported that he had used the term 'spit roast' to host Janette Manrara at a photocall. Wynne has, however, since insisted that it was instead part of a nickname for fellow contestant Jamie Borthwick and that it "wasn't meant sexually". Wynne subsequently left the tour and his BBC Radio Wales show after the scandal broke back in January. It was said at the time that the decision had been made in agreement with the BBC and to "prioritise" Wynne's wellbeing. It was then announced in May that Wynne would not be returning to his radio show, which he had hosted since 2016. In a statement at the time, a spokesperson for the BBC said: "[Wynne] is not under contract with the BBC. He is not returning to the mid-morning show on BBC Radio Wales, and there are currently no plans to work with him." ‌ Whilst Wynne, who has since criticised the BBC, told fans in a statement: "It breaks my heart to say the BBC has decided not to renew my contract, so I won't be returning to my radio show. I'm gutted. That show wasn't just work - it was home. It was us. We laughed, we cried, we sang like nobody was listening. And somehow, through the airwaves, we became a family. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes. Into your hearts." He instead announced that he would host the Wynne Evans Show on other platforms. He's since launched his new weekday radio and later told his followers on social media that he had more than 40,000 listeners for the first episode. More recently, it was reported in June that the BBC had cut its last remaining ties with him. It was confirmed at the time that the corporation had "no plans" for a second series of his travel show Wynne & Joanna: All at Sea, which ran for six episodes between January and February. ‌ A source had told the Sun that the decision to not renew it "marks the end" of a relationship between Wynne and the BBC. They said: "It means that Wynne has no TV show or radio show with the Beeb, and effectively marks the end of their relationship." Pointless Celebrities is available on BBC iPlayer.

Strictly pro Michelle Tsiakkas defends Jamie Borthwick after he was suspended by BBC and reveals pair are ‘really close'

STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Michelle Tsiakkas has defended her former dance partner Jamie Borthwick - after he was suspended by the BBC over an ableist slur. Michelle, 29, who placed seventh on the BBC dance series with Jamie, 31, last year, revealed how the pair were still 'really close'. 4 She told The Sun on Sunday: 'Whatever you saw on screen of our relationships together is what our relationship is like. 'We're like brother and sister, we're really close. He still actually messages me saying that he misses it. 'I saw him the other day, he remembered all of his routines, he was doing them again. I was actually so surprised.' Speaking at the National Reality TV Awards, Michelle added: 'For me, that counts more than any trophy because I feel like I had a positive impact on your life and changed it for the better - in terms of him finding this new found love for dancing. 'He's honestly so passionate about dancing. I can't believe it. He is trying to dance with everybody and do his routines with everyone.' It comes after Jamie was banned from BBC soap EastEnders in June after The Sun on Sunday revealed a video of him using a severely derogatory term. It saw him describe the people of Blackpool as 'absolute m**s' while there for last year's Strictly live show. Asked if she and Jamie chat in a Strictly WhatsApp group, Michelle said: 'We mostly talk just me and him so that is really nice that we still have a good relationship.' Speaking about the pressure that comes with the BBC series, she added: 'The show is about joy and dancing. 'It always needs to come back to that because it is such a special show.
