Cierra Ortega Reached Out to Chelley Bissainthe After ‘Love Island USA' Exit
ICYMI, the trio seemed to have a close bond in the villa before Cierra left the island prematurely due to a 'personal situation' following her racism scandal.
'Have any of y'all spoke to Cierra since... everything? 'Cause I know you said that Nic hasn't, but has she reached out to either of you?' the pod's host, Keke Palmer, asked the pair after referring to Olandria's beau, Nic Vansteenberghe. According to Chelley, Cierra made an effort to reach out to her and clear up anything she might have seen or heard about the situation.
'I did get to speak to her, she did reach out. It's just a lot going on,' Chelley explained. 'We didn't know for what reason she was removed. Even when I came back, I couldn't really find what the post was or whatever.'
She added, 'But I did see she reached out. She was just saying, you know, she misses all of us, she hates what's happening...she's trying to, like, basically do better for herself and to reach out to us and say her apologies.'
The reality TV personality, who finished in fifth place on Love Island USA with her partner Ace Greene, expressed that she sent well wishes to Cierra after receiving her message.
'I [was] just trying to give her grace because we're human at the end of the day, and I got to know her in the villa, as a person, through and through,' Chelley added. 'All of this happening to her, I wouldn't wish on anyone, but she's taken full account for her stuff and is just trying to get her mind right.'
Following her exit on July 7, Cierra broke her silence on the situation surrounding her use of a racial slur. 'While I was in the villa, there were some posts that resurfaced from my past where I was very naively using an incredibly offensive and derogatory term,' she said, in part. 'I want to first start by addressing not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community—I am deeply, truly, honestly so sorry.'
She also shared that she understands Peacock's decision to dump her from the show once the posts resurfaced, saying, 'I completely agree with the network's decision to remove me from the villa. This is something that deserved punishment, and the punishment has absolutely been received, for sure. I think the backlash has obviously been very hard to deal with, but I understand that people are kind of confused on why I would have even said it.'
Of course, Chelley and Olandria caught Keke up with everything that's happened with them since their days in the villa. Check out Keke's full conversation with the pair below.

Hailey Bieber's Rhode Deal Will Help Justin's Scooter Braun Settlement, ‘Source' Claims
Justin Bieber is leaning on his wife to clear his debts with former manager Scooter Braun. The singer has reportedly put his $31.5 million settlement with Braun and his former company, HYBE Corporation, on hold. As per the source, the pop icon is relying on his wife's billion-dollar Rhode deal settlement to move forward. Justin Bieber's settlement contract with Scooter Braun has a key provision, 'source' claims Justine Bieber might not settle his multimillion-dollar debt with former manager Scooter Braun and his former company, HYBE Corporation, anytime soon. A source has revealed that the singer is reportedly depending on his wife, Hailey Bieber's Rhode deal payout to clear his debt. An insider told TMZ that the pop icon will not clear his $31.5 million debt until the funds from Hailey's recent multibillion-dollar deal with e.l.f. Beauty is securely in the bank. The Rhode's sale, valued at approximately $1 billion, will likely close 'probably in a month or two.' Till then, the 'Baby' singer is ready to wait for the settlement. Although with the Rhode deal, it's the model who will get the majority of the money, Justin will get some amount too, since he is an investor in the company. As per the report, the 31-year-old singer will get $50 million cut from the sale. In May, an independent audit determined that the dad of one owes millions to Braun and his then-company HYBE due to the abrupt cancellation of his 2022 'Justice' world tour. The pop sensation was forced to cancel his tour after developing Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis. At the time, HYBE paid AEG $26 million to cover the costs associated with the cancelled tour. As part of their settlement, Justin has agreed to pay the South Korean entertainment company, HYBE, the full $26 million. He has also agreed to half of the remaining commission debt, totalling approximately $31.5 million. Originally reported by Parul Singh on Reality Tea. Toddler Demands Mickey D's Chips in Car, How Mom Cools Down Goes Viral
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A mom's quick-thinking hack to cool down piping-hot French fries is going viral. In a clip on TikTok (@elllieekate), Ellie Blaisdell captured the all-too-relatable chaos of parenting in a McDonald's drive-thru moment. The text overlay reads: "POV [point of view]: Your toddler is screaming for 'treats' in the back seat and McDonald's chose today to serve the hottest french fries ever." Blaisdell's toddler, in full meltdown mode, was demanding her "treats"—a term that clearly meant the just-purchased McDonald's fries—but there was one major obstacle: the fries were practically molten. That is when Blaisdell had a stroke of genius. Instead of handing back the scalding snack or suffering through another 10 minutes of crying, Blaisdell took the fries and placed them directly in her car's air-conditioning vent. The forced cold air helped cool them down faster, making them toddler-ready in record time. Blaisdell captioned the clip: "Mother's in stem." TikTok users couldn't get enough of the mom's clever fix. The clip has amassed over 621,000 views and a further 46,000 likes. Hundreds commented on the clip, with one user even calling it the "most relatable" thing they had seen on TikTok all day. "Gotta do this next time, so smart," one user wrote. "So real. Anytime we get my son food he ALWAYS get fresh fries. I'm like, but I get old ones," another commented. "I got one fry stuck in my air vent from doing this and can't reach it with anything so it just lives there now," a third added. Many other commenters posted about how they manage with hungry toddlers. "Sometimes I stick the Dunkin' Donuts hashbrown bag out the window and let nature help us out," one user said. "I hold the box out the window while I drive," another wrote. "I hold the fry out the window of my moving car while my 18 month old is crashing out in the backseat like she's gonna starve," added a third. Some users were concerned about what may stick to the French fry, such as dust, when it comes out of the air vent. Blaisdell replied: "Literally what dust? Are we not cleaning our cars and changing our air filters?!? Also he licks his shoes so." File photo: A young Asian girl cries and screams in a car.
