‘The Amazing Race' Season 38: Premiere Date, Cast, Locations and Everything Else We Know

Is everybody ready? The world is waiting … for another season of The Amazing Race! CBS has renewed the long-running reality competition for season 38, and it's been rumored that the upcoming installment will have a Big Brother theme, featuring a slate of contestants from the network's other hit reality show. In Touch breaks down everything to know about The Amazing Race season 38.
CBS confirmed at its upfronts in May 2025 that The Amazing Race season 28 would air sometime in the fall of 2025 in its usual time slot of Wednesday nights at 9:30 p.m. ET after Survivor. However, an exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
CBS has not officially announced the cast of The Amazing Race season 38. However, reports circulated in February 2025 that former Big Brother houseguests would be participating as racers in the new season.
When filming began a few weeks later, the alleged cast list was leaked on social media. There will reportedly be 13 teams of two competing in season 38.
According to Instagram account Reality TV_Fan, the reality stars who are rumored to be competing include Big Brother 26 star Angela Murray and her daughter, Lexi Murray; Big Brother 12 and 22 star Vincenzo "Enzo" Palumbo and his brother, Giacomo Palumbo; and Big Brother 23 star Hannah Chaddha and her sister, Simone Chaddha.
Additional rumored competitors include Big Brother 25 star Isabel "Izzy" Gleicher and her fiancée, Paige Seber; Big Brother 26 star Chelsie Baham and her dad, Jack Baham; Big Brother 25 star Jagateshwar "Jag" Bains and his brother, Jasmair "Jas" Bains; Big Brother 24 star Joseph Abdin and his brother, Adam Abdin; Big Brother 21 star Kathryn "Kat" Dunn and boyfriend Alex Romo; Big Brother 23 and 24 alums Kyland Young and Taylor Hale; Big Brother 24 star Matt Turner and wife Megan Belmonte; Big Brother 18 star Stephanie Negrotti and sister Natalie Negrotti; Big Brother 26 star Rubina Bernabe and sister Kristine Bernabe and Big Brother 26 star Tucker Des Lauriers and brother Eric Des Lauriers.
Of course, fans can also expect Phil Keoghan to return as host.
Janelle Pierzina, who appeared on Big Brother season 22, revealed on X in February 2025 that she was asked to join the cast but turned down the offer for financial reasons.
'I had to say no due to money. Reality TV is an expensive hobby at this point if the show doesn't pay. Good luck to the teams participating. I will be rooting for all of you!!!' she wrote.
Xavier Prather, who competed on Big Brother season 23, responded that he and Big Brother 3's Danielle Reyes turned down offers for the same reason.
'@DaniHenReyes and I were in the mix as well, but chose not to for this exact reason. Can't wait to see BB alums back on our screens and crossing over into another CBS show!' he wrote.
The Amazing Race season 38 filming began on March 17, 2025, and ended on April 9, 2025, according to multiple reports.
While the complete race lineup has yet to be revealed, the starting line for The Amazing Race season 38 will reportedly be in Hoorn, Netherlands, as the teams were spotted filming in the country in March 2025. They also reportedly traveled to the Czech Republic, Romania, Croatia and Italy.

MLB Speedway Classic set to resume Sunday after Braves-Reds game suspended by rain

After the Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves were unable to make it through the first inning on Saturday night, the two teams return to Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday, Aug. 3, to complete MLB's inaugural Speedway Classic. The history-making clash is the first-ever major league game in the state of Tennessee and the first to be held at a NASCAR track. But the record 85,000-plus fans expected to be in attendance only got a small taste of the action as persistent rain delayed the start of the game for over two hours and forced MLB officials to suspend the contest with the Reds leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning. How to watch the MLB Speedway Classic The MLB Speedway Classic between the Reds and Braves will continue on Fox. Fans can stream it on Fubo. What time does the MLB Speedway Classic restart? The Reds and Braves will resume play at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. Speedway Classic weather issues The Speedway Classic was set to start at 7:15 p.m. ET, but rain began falling during pregame activities and the tarp was unrolled at 7:19 p.m. It remained there until skies cleared around 8:50 p.m. The game eventually started at 9:40 p.m. ET, but since Braves starting pitcher Spencer Strider had already gone through his warmup routine, the team decided to scratch him in favor of reliever Austin Cox. The Reds stuck with their original starter, Tennessee native Chase Burns, who retired the Braves in order in the top of the first. But the skies began to open up once again – quickly turning the playing field into a quagmire as the Reds scored on Austin Hays' one-out RBI single. Play was halted immediately after that and ultimately suspended for the night.

Kyle Lowry, other Sixers support Tyrese Maxey at his foundation

Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey and his foundation held its annual event recently as the 5-year guard looks to give back to the community. With a slogan of "1% better everyday", Maxey is looking to hold up to that slogan himself while also giving back to the city that has embraced him. Hosting a golf event, Maxey received a lot of support from his teammates. In an Instagram post, one can see veteran Kyle Lowry, second-year forward Justin Edwards, and rookie guard VJ Edgecombe, and that was only who was featured in the social media post. There could have been other Sixers who showed up to support Maxey. Lowry, the future Hall of Famer, has always been one to support his younger teammates so this is no surprise. It's also good to see younger players like Edwards and Edgecombe step up and be there for Maxey at this stage of the offseason. With training camp set to begin at some time at the end of September/beginning of October, now's the time for bonding so this is a good thing.
