It's been over 15 years since we said goodbye to Hank Hill and his family, but now, the King of the Hill is coming home! The long-awaited 14th season of the animated series will have a huge time jump, wherein a now-retired Hank and Peggy return to Arden, Texas, from Saudi Arabia. Despite Dale, Boomhauer and Bill welcoming them home, the pair seems to be struggling with some of the changes in Arden since they left, including fancier beer, all-gender restrooms and rideshare apps. Bobby seems to be thriving in Dallas as a chef for a Japanese and German fusion restaurant. Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Pamela Adlon, and Lauren Tom are all reprising their roles in the King of the Hill reboot. Original series co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels both serve as executive producers on the show. All 10 episodes of the new King of the Hill season will drop on Hulu this Monday, August 4. Here's what else you need to know about the King of the Hill reboot.
When does come back?
The release date for King of the Hill Season 14 is Monday, Aug. 4, 2025. And we won't just get one episode on that King of the Hill premiere date, we're getting all 10 episodes of the new season!
reboot channel:
While the original King of the Hill series aired on FOX, the newest season/reboot of the show won't air on FOX, but will stream exclusively on Hulu (or on Disney+ for all Hulu and Disney+ bundle subscribers).
How to watch the new season:
What is the new about?
Nearly 16 years after King of the Hill went off the air, the show is returning for its 14th season. The season will start off with a time jump to the present day, where we'll see Hank and Peggy returning from working abroad in Saudi Arabia. The newly retired pair seem to be struggling to adjust to their old life back in Arden, Texas. And little Bobby is working as a chef in Dallas, all grown up now… well, sort of.

new season cast:
Wondering who is coming back for the new season of King of the Hill? Well, excitingly, much of the original voice cast is returning for the reboot, including series co-creator Mike Judge as Hank Hill, Kathy Najimy as Peggy Hill, Stephen Root as Bill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill and Lauren Tom as Minh and Connie.
The late Johnny Hardwick recorded several episodes as Dale before his passing, Toby Huss will take over as Dale moving forward. Jonathan Joss, who was killed earlier this year, also recorded some lines for John Redcorn. It hasn't been confirmed who will replace Joss in the role.
In Season 14, Kenneth Choi (The Wolf of Wall Street) will be taking over for Toby Huss as Laotian businessman Ted Wassanasong, with Ki Hong Lee (The Maze Runner) will step in as Ted's son, Chane (replacing Pamela Adlon). Tai Leclaire will take over the role of Joseph Gribble from Breckin Meyer.
As far as totally new cast members and characters go, Keith David (The Princess and the Frog) will be joining as Brian Robertson, the tenant of the Hill home while Hank and Peggy were in Saudi Arabia. Anthony 'Critic' Campos (Idiocracy) will play Chef Emilio, who works alongside Bobby in Dallas.
Is the reboot only one season?
Despite King of the Hill Season 14 not even being out yet, the series has been renewed for Season 15! So we won't just be getting one reboot season of the show. Phew!
Where to watch every season of King of the Hill:
You can stream all 13 seasons of King of the Hill on Hulu (or Hulu via Disney+).

‘Glitz, Glam, and a Damn Good Time' Review: A Wealth of Amusement

America's Gilded Age was a period characterized by massive income inequality between a superwealthy plutocracy (think Astors, Morgans and Vanderbilts) and an increasingly restive workforce. There are obvious parallels to today, including the propensity of the superrich to throw epic parties breathlessly reported in the media. In 'Glitz, Glam, and a Damn Good Time,' however, Jennifer Wright argues that those late-19th-century parties were about more than conspicuous consumption. They allowed a smart, glamorous extrovert to shed some of the stuffy constraints of her era, acquire a social power that would increase her family's prosperity and be a model for others. Marion Graves Anthon, or Mamie, as she was known, was a barely literate and rather plain young woman whose family had fallen on hard times. Her only assets were her natural wit and aplomb, but in a twist worthy of Edith Wharton, these were enough for her to snare a suitor who, according to his own family history, had been born 'with a silver spoon in his mouth big enough to be called a soup ladle.' As a young man, Stuyvesant Fish had rejected his patrician father's choice of law as a suitable career and went to work for the Illinois Central Railroad. Mamie enraptured this rather dull, Columbia-educated man, and in 1876 they married. They were a devoted couple. 'He thought she was a hoot,' Ms. Wright tells us, 'and she loved that he was a constantly amused audience for her jokes and adventures.' The Fish fortune multiplied. But while 'Stuyvesant seemed to sense that railroads were going to be huge,' Ms. Wright suggests that 'Mamie seemed to understand that extroverted, exciting women who loved the spotlight were the future.'

See it: NFL legend Tom Brady delivers heartfelt message to Cam Ward

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward was one of several high-profile rookies who were recently on the receiving end of a gift from Fanatics via NFL legends, coupled with an emotional and heartfelt message to each player. Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady personally greeted Ward into the league by telling him, 'You're going to grow in ways you couldn't even imagine, and I'm going to be watching, and I'm going to be pulling for you.' The message from Brady hit home, with Ward responding, 'That's crazy, for the greatest player of all time to send me a video like that.' As the video closed, Ward ended with a message that all Titans fans hope becomes reality by saying, 'I'm ready for the challenge.' After receiving the video, Ward was gifted a signed and personalized jersey from Brady. Ward wasn't the only player associated with the Titans to be involved with this promotion from Fanatics. Former Titans' great Eddie George welcomed New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo with a personal message and signed jersey. He told Skattebo, "Begin this journey with the end in mind and you'll be just fine, my man."
