Over the years, they've built a beautiful life together with their daughter Aaradhya. Let's take a throwback look at when the actor recalled a humorous incident with
Bachchan.
In a candid chat on The Ranveer Show in 2021, Abhishek shared a humorous anecdote about his first-ever meeting with Aishwarya, revealing that she couldn't understand a word he said at the time.
The First Meeting on a Film Set
Abhishek fondly recalled meeting Aishwarya for the first time during the shoot of her debut Hindi film 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya', where she starred alongside his friend
.
'My dear friend Bobby Deol was shooting his first film. I was at the same location and went to say hi to him. He invited me for dinner, and that's when I first interacted with Aishwarya,' Abhishek said. It was a casual encounter, but it turned out to be a memorable one, for both.
'I Must've Had Some Really Heavy Accent'
Reflecting on that moment, Abhishek admitted that Aishwarya had difficulty understanding him. 'Whenever she talks about it, she jokingly says, 'I couldn't understand a word of what you were saying.' I must've had some really heavy accent at that point,' he added, referring to his background in international schooling and time spent in Boston. His early education and acting training were entirely in English, which, he believes, may have made his speech unfamiliar at the time.
Work Front
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan has made his grand comeback with the comedy entertainer movie 'Housefull 5' which is doing well at the box office.
