Sneak peek at Oasis bar prices as Murrayfield prepares for Britpop legends
Oasis' long-awaited return to Scotland is just hours away. Liam, Noel, and co take to the stage at Murrayfield tomorrow night, Friday, August 8, as part of their reunion tour.
It is the Britpop legends' first show north of the border since 2009, shortly before the brothers' infamous fallout. Their last gig in Scotland was also at the Edinburgh stadium 16 years ago.
With Oasis ' hotly-anticipated first show just around the corner, Murrayfield is getting fully prepared to welcome tens of thousands of music lovers.
A recent study suggested that revellers will drink almost 80,000 bucket hats worth of beer over the three concerts. And we can now reveal how much each pint will cost at the shows on August 8, 9, and 12.
A picture from inside the stadium has offered a sneak peek at the bar prices for different drinks, with draught beers and cider on offer, as well as an array of spirits, wine, three cocktails, and a number of soft drinks.
For those heading straight to the bar for a beer, your draught choices are Heineken and Amstel. Heineken is £7.85 for a pint, while Amstel is £7.50. Both are £4.30 for a half-pint.
For the cider-lovers in the crowd, Inch's cider is available from the taps at £4.30 for a half-pint and £7.50 for a pint, matching the price of Amstel.
There are also packaged booze options, with a Beavertown Neck Oil costing £7.50, the same price as an Old Mout Cider, berries and cherries flavour.
A gluten free lager will cost you £7, while those avoiding alcohol can get a Heineken 0% for £6.
For the spirits, mixers offered include Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite, Schweppes Soda, Schweppes Ginger Ale, and Schweppes Tonic.
A 25ml measure of Neft Vodka, Volcan Tequila, or Eminente Rum will set you back £11.50, with a 50ml double measure costing £15.
For Gordon's Pink Gin, Bombay Sapphire gin, Jack Daniel's, or Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, it's £10.50 for a single measure and £14 for a double.
The three cocktails on offer are a spicy margarita, a passionfruit martini, and a strawberry daquiri - all of which cost £10. The wine on offer is La Vielle Ferme, either in white, red, or rose, priced at £12.50.
The majority of soft drinks come in at £3.50, including: Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Coke Zero Lemon, Fanta Orange, and Sprite Zero. Oasis Zero Exotic Fruit is £4.50, while a bottle of water is £5, the same price as Red Bull and Red Bull Sugarfree.

Oasis Murrayfield gigs set major new record as experts reveal which night topped the lot

And it has since been revealed that the Britpop icons managed to set a new record - which they already held from during their last performance in Scotland. We previously told how the gig at Murrayfield 16 years ago had topped the chart for the most powerful seismic concert at the venue in the last 20 years with 215.06KW. The June 2009 Oasis gig beat the Red Hot Chili Peppers in June 2004, Kings of Leon in June 2011 and Taylor Swift in June last year. But the Gallagher brothers managed to top the list again and registered a peak power of 261KW during their three-concert run in Edinburgh. The peak power reading on each night was registered at around 8.40pm as the crowd danced to Cigarettes and Alcohol. The final concert on Tuesday generated the highest peak power reading followed by Friday at 206 KW and Saturday at 160 KW. BSG said: "Oasis registered a peak power of 261KW during their three-concert run in Edinburgh, beating their 2009 concert in the same venue. "The peak power reading on each night was registered around 8.40pm whilst the crowd was dancing to Cigarettes And Alcohol. "The energy detected by the seismic monitoring stations is driven by the movement of the crowd jumping and dancing in time to the music, rather than the volume of the concert, with bigger, more energetic crowds generating larger signal." Oasis fans gear up for final Scots gig as band take to Murrayfield stage The BGS keeps an archive of continuous ground motion recordings from seismic sensors around the country, dating back several decades. The organisation is the national body responsible for recording earthquakes, operating a network of monitoring stations around the country. During the last gig, Liam Gallagher took a THIRD brutal swipe at Edinburgh Council officials. The legendary rocker, 52, was left furious at council chiefs after they branded Oasis fans 'drunk', 'lairy', 'fat' and 'old' in secret safety briefings. Officials claimed that the concert-goers would be mainly 'rowdy' 'middle-aged men' who 'take up more room' and will drink to 'medium to high intoxication'. Liam has called out snooty Edinburgh council officials over their remarks on several occasions.

Oasis gave an even more ground-shaking performance at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium than their 2009 show when they played there this month, according to analysis of seismic data. The Gallagher brothers' last Scottish gig 16 years ago had topped the chart for the most powerful seismic concert at the venue in the last 20 years, the British Geological Survey (BGS) said.
