But in a bold shift, audience voting could determine nominations, while eviction decisions may lie with contestants themselves—adding an unpredictable twist to the game mechanics.
Also, this season will be split into two phases: a televised run of about four months, followed by an OTT-exclusive continuation. The show will air on Viacom18 channels and stream on JioCinema, produced by Banijay Asia.

I was scared to shoot again; it felt new: Disco Shanti
The actress, who is settled in Hyderabad, tells us that her personal equation with Lawrence and Elviin made her take up the project. Yesteryear actress and dancer Santha Kumari, popularly known by her stage name Disco Shanti, is making a comeback to the big screen. She will be seen playing a witch in Raghava Lawrence 's younger brother, Elviin's debut film, Bullet. The actress, who is settled in Hyderabad, tells us that her personal equation with Lawrence and Elviin made her take up the project. "I did get opportunities earlier, but I wasn't interested. I didn't want to leave my home and kids. But Elviin convinced me to take up the project, and so did my kids," she shares and adds that even though she is in the film for just one scene with Raghava Lawrence, it will be a crucial moment. 'To be frank, I was scared. Shooting again felt new. But the crew clapped after I did my first shot, and Lawrence told me that I was lying about being scared. It gave me confidence and hope that I could act,' she reveals. She also credits the film's director Innasi Pandiyan for putting her at ease on set. 'I told Innasi, 'Don't scold me from afar if I don't get it right. Come near me and let me know! It's been 28 years since I last acted.' I generally speak a little fast, but he told me to speak slowly,' she shares. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Redefine Your Future with a Top Online MBA SRM Online Enquire Now Undo Ask her whether she missed acting during her long break and the actress says, 'I didn't miss it at all. I married and had my first child immediately. My husband, who acted as a villain, became a hero. It was a dream world. I lost him 12 years ago and then went into depression. I've been OK for the past five years, all because of my two kids.' Revealing that she hasn't signed any other film apart from Bullet, she adds, 'If the audience receives me well in this film, then I will act in stories that I like. If I'm told to act sexy and in a certain way as an antagonist, then I can't. I want to do good roles which suit my age and in which I can perform. I'm not looking to act for money.' When quizzed about sticking with her screen name in her second innings, the actress states, 'The value for the name is still there, but I'm a little hesitant about still using it, as I've kids who are of marriageable age. But I was told that's how everyone knows me. I would like to be credited as Shanthi Srihari, but, at the end of the day, it's the director's and producer's call, as they are investing their time and money in making the project. ' Shanti admits she now finds her older films funny and states, 'If I'm bored, I watch my old films on TV. I find them funny now. In some films, I find my makeup to be very odd. In Tamil, the song of mine that people still remember is Rathiri Nerathu Poojayil (Oomai Vizhigal, 1986). But I didn't like it because I didn't know how to dance at all back then, even though it was such a big hit. At that time, I wasn't even able to do simple movements. I used to go to dance classes, and group dancers used to help me a lot.' Delving into her glamorous onscreen image, Shanti says, 'An artiste was deemed a glamorous artiste back then because of the outfit they wore, dance movements and camera angles. Now, it's become normal, and any actress can play any character. Today, if the story is good, the audience comes to watch it.'
