BTS' Jin's Run Seokjin World Tour concert shifted from main Goyang Stadium for BLACKPINK's DEADLINE show? Find out'
Jin's Goyang concerts to take place in a smaller venue instead of Goyang International Stadium
Jin 's Goyang acts will take place on June 28 and 29, and ahead of that blueprint of the venue was released by their BIGHIT MUSIC. It featured Goyang Auxiliary Stadium as the concert area and the main stadium will be used as an ARMY zone and will include a verification booth and official merchandise booth. Its massive capacity of around 50,000 people, compared to the relatively smaller Auxiliary Stadium, sparked intense online debate.
Was BLACKPINK's DEADLINE concerts the cause for Jin's smaller venue shows?
Just like the BTS member, BLACKPINK is also set to start their third world tour with Goyang acts. The 2-day South Korean shows will take place the weekend following Jin's– on July 5 and 6. According to fans, the girl group had booked the main stadium at least a week ahead of the shows, due to stage set-up purposes. It might have led to Jin's shows being held at the smaller stadium.
However, some countered the argument with a job posting of the Coldplay concert stage set-up, that took place on the main stadium. According to the notice, the set-up was done in a single day and so was the dismantling. Besides the BLACKPINK show theory, there was another one.
Other potential reason for the Jin's Goyang shows to be held at the Auxiliary Stadium
Jin's tour was set to feature Run Jin-themed activities and recently, it was announced that ARMYs were needed to attend the concerts in sneakers/trainers instead of heels. These made fans wonder if the bigger stadium was kept for holding surprise events.

The King of Pop and the Kings of K-pop, the rumors of a surprise collaboration between Michael Jackson and BTS became the hottest news in town on August 4. It was reported by The Irish Sun, after an interview with Grouse Lodge studio owner Paddy Dunning, that the septet has recorded an unreleased song, but now, the Korean act has come ahead and denied any such involvement in the upcoming tribute album and vowed to ensure a stop to the spread of misinformation. BTS is not working on a new song, originally written by Michael Jackson? Know what happened In an update on BTS' agency BIGHIT MUSIC's official X account, a notice was shared in Korean and English, addressing the reports making the rounds from the previous day. It denied being a part of the project or recording an unreleased song by visiting the famed Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland. The team is known to be in the USA currently, secluded in Los Angeles and away from prying eyes to work on their next album. Here's what was in the agency's statement. 'Hello! This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We would like to address recent media reports concerning BTS' alleged participation in a Michael Jackson tribute album. BTS has neither visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland nor taken part in any recording sessions at the location for the mentioned project. The group is not involved in the tribute album in any capacity. We are continuing to take appropriate measures to prevent the spread of inaccurate information. We express our sincere gratitude to fans for continuously showing support for BTS. We remain fully committed to supporting the artists and their endeavors. Thank you.' Believed to have been planned during Michael Jackson's stay in Ireland in 2006 in an upcycled cow shed, the said unreleased tracks sat in the archives for about 2 decades. Early last year, reports of there being a tribute album, involving countless superstars from around the world, began making the rounds. The latest update coming from the studio owner himself seems to be more of a wish than reality, bumming out the fans of the two artists.

Billboard interviewer hit with hate over BLACKPINK Jennie 'lazy dance' clip; BLINKs demand apology
BLACKPINK is currently on their world tour, and it has already been marred by controversies - be it the very expensice ticket prices or the group's stage presence. However, amid all this, Billboard added fuel to the fire when it posted a video featuring people sharing their thoughts on viral moments from popular female artists. Among the clips shown was one of Jennie performing on stage - a moment that has previously been used to label her as 'lazy' as she stopped performing mid-song to adjust her mic. Billboard host questions fans about Jennie's 'lazy dancing' The hosts asked about the viral moment, and one interviewee in the video commented on Jennie's expression and stage presence, saying, "She was always like that for years, maybe just her face, her emotions, her attitude." 'she was always like that for years' now i get why jentards are losing their minds. i'd probably blame someone too, just to shift the hate away from my fave. sorry, but the whole world already knows who the real lazy one is among the four, none other than @jennierubyjane. This remark immediately triggered outrage online, especially from BLACKPINK fans, called BLINKs, who saw it as an unnecessary and baseless criticism of Jennie. BLINKs call out Billboard's double standards The video was met with swift backlash on social media, particularly on X (formerly known as Twitter), where BLINKs criticized Billboard and pointed out that the publication had previously celebrated Jennie - including awarding her the Global Force Award at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music event and featuring her in interviews and fashion spreads. Fans accused Billboard of hypocrisy, claiming that the outlet was benefiting from Jennie's popularity while simultaneously allowing damaging narratives about her to circulate on their platform. Death threats and doxxing: host targeted by angry fans After the video went viral, BLINKs quickly identified the woman who was the host of the show and went to her personal social media account to flood it with hate messages, with some fans even issuing death threats. [🚨] Blackpink fans are harassing and leaving negative comments (d€4th) on Leelarosa and her family's IG after the Billboard interview. In response to the backlash, the woman defended herself by stating that she was unaware of who BLACKPINK and Jennie was and had only been hired to conduct the interviews for the day. She claimed she had no control over the content and context of the final edit. Some BLINKs were even seen body shaming the girl who answered the question about Jennie and her dance which soon trigged a huge backlash online. Billboard deletes video, but fans demand formal apology Although Billboard took down the video shortly after the uproar began, fans have continued to demand a public apology or formal statement from the outlet. As of now, Billboard has not addressed the incident publicly. blackpink fans were caught sending d€ath threats to the family of the woman interviewer in the deleted billboard video and the interviewer shared it on her instagram. The situation has reignited discussions around the extreme loyalty and protective nature of K-pop fandoms. In an industry where idols are constantly in the spotlight, fans have shown they are quick to defend their favorite artists against any perceived slight. While some argue this passion is admirable, others question where the line should be drawn between support and online harassment. Comedian Zakir Khan opens up about meeting BTS; claims he thought K-Pop superstars were 'behind-the-scenes team'
Comedian Zakir Khan has shared a hilarious story from when he unknowingly got the chance to meet and spend time with K-Pop superstars BTS. The comedian recently shared how he met the members from the popular K-pop group, but sadly, at the time, he 'didn't know who they were'. In a recent interview with Lallantop, he recalled that he had to travel all the way to South Korea for an interview with a popular Korean celebrity that had been planned. He, however, was late to the venue and was grouped alongside BTS, who had also been in line to meet the celebrity. At the time, they were sharing the room, and while the comedian had taken notice of them, he did not know who they were. To make conversation, he had even ended up asking them about who they were, and the answer 'BTS' did not ring any bells for him. "I thought that the Korean organising team was called for a behind-the-scenes team. I was totally unaware of the fact that they are famous people," he admitted. Unknowingly, Zakir ended up spending almost 45 minutes in the same room with the superstars. He also delved into how he only found out about their popularity levels when he shared the incident with other people around him. He shared, "Later, when I told people that for 45 minutes I was in the same room as them, they fainted'.
