Watch the scary moment Katy Perry gets ambushed, startled by rogue fan on stage

Yahoo2 days ago

The one that got away.
Katy Perry was ambushed by a rogue fan who found his way onto the stage during her 'Lifetimes' tour this week.
The scary incident occurred on Monday night as the 40-year-old singer was performing her hit song 'Hot N Cold' during a concert in Sydney, Australia.
Perry appeared visibly shaken during the startling encounter, and she quickly grabbed her guitar and spun away from the stage crasher immediately after he put his arm around her shoulders.
'Well, there's never going to be another show like it, so just enjoy it, Sydney,' Perry said into the microphone as the dancing fan was grabbed by security, per a video of the incident shared to X.
'What the hell is going on?!' the 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' singer then shouted as the interloper was finally escorted off the stage.
Although Perry kept her cool during the incident and continued her performance without a hitch, fans of the pop star rushed to social media to express their shock regarding the 'very dangerous' incident.
'A very dangerous moment,' one person tweeted. 'Security to be fired, especially the one who was supposed to guard the entrance to the stage. Katy's bodyguard was the first. This could have ended really badly!'
'Why did he think that would be a good idea to assault an artist like that?' commented another fan. 'Katy Perry took it in a professional way, thank god she is ok.'
'Katy handled that like a pro – chaos on stage, and she still kept it cool,' added a third. 'Iconic energy. Now that's how you own the moment.'
However, other viewers claimed that the incident was 'staged.'
'Staged,' one skeptical person tweeted. 'So she can go viral.'
'Honestly, this looks staged,' added a second person. 'And I hope it is because if it's real, that's seriously worrying.'
The Post has reached out to Perry's rep for comment.
Meanwhile, that wouldn't be the first time that the 'Firework' hitmaker suffered a startling mishap mid-concert.
On May 17, during a show in Las Vegas, Perry's bejeweled bra almost popped completely off during her performance of 'Part of Me.'
'Oh s–t,' Perry said into the microphone during the wardrobe malfunction, 'my bra is gonna come off.'
'Put my bra back on, Patrick,' she joked after calling over one of her assistants. 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.'
Shortly before her wardrobe malfunction, the 'I Kissed a Girl' songstress 'scolded' a fan for messaging her husband, Orlando Bloom.
'I know why you're here,' she began. 'Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man… you've been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn't come to see me play.'
'If you keep on DM-ing my man, I'm gonna have you removed,' Perry continued. 'Seriously, get your own life. I'm his wife. I don't want it. I'm his.'
'He don't want you, Kyle. I'm his wife,' she added. 'I'm his, he's mine… stay the f–k away!'
It was later revealed that Perry's shocking remarks were scripted and part of the transition into her next song, the 2024 single 'I'm His, He's Mine.'

Orlando Bloom Was 'Frustrated' With Katy Perry's Space Trip As He Allegedly Didn't 'Approve' Of It Amid Tensions

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were reportedly not on the same page regarding her recent all-female trip to space. This revelation comes amid reports suggesting the couple is going through a rough patch in their relationship. Sources now claim Orlando Bloom "did not approve" of the trip and was "frustrated" and "disappointed" by Katy Perry's decision to embark on it regardless. Several cracks seem to have formed in Perry and Bloom's romance amid reports that their relationship has ended. Following her 11-minute all-female space trip on Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin spacecraft, Perry gushed in a radio interview that her fiancé, Bloom, was "all about the journey." However, a source has now revealed that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor "did not approve" of it as he never thought "going on the mission was a good idea." Speaking to The U.S. Sun, the insider went further to explain that Bloom "knew she would get backlash" from the mission and was "frustrated" and "disappointed" with her decision to take part in it. "From day one, Orlando didn't think going on the Blue Origin mission was a good idea, and knew she would face backlash," the source said. "He always thought it was a stupid idea, and she wouldn't get anything positive out of it." The "Roar" hitmaker joined the all-female crew comprising Aisha Bowe, Lauren Sanchez, Kerianne Flynn, Gayle King, and Amanda Nguyen for the April 15 flight despite her fiancé's alleged reservations. While en route, she held up a daisy seemingly in a bid to honor her and Bloom's daughter, Daisy. Upon her return, she stopped to kiss the ground, but was ridiculed by many who thought the trip was "unnecessary" and her actions afterwards were "dramatic." Even celebrities, such as Emily Ratajkowski and Olivia Munn, didn't hold back with their criticisms of the all-female space trip. "That space mission this morning. That's end time sh-t. This is beyond parody," Ratajkowski fumed. "Saying that you care about Mother Earth and it's about Mother Earth and you're going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that's single-handedly destroying the planet?" "Look at the state of the world and think about how many resources went into putting these women into space. For what? What was the marketing there?" She added. It appears Bloom has reached his breaking point amid the underlying tensions in his relationship, with a source sharing that the actor needs space from Perry. The disagreements between them are said to have made the "Lord of the Rings" actor believe Perry "doesn't take him seriously." "He has been frustrated that his opinion is not being taken seriously or even heard," the source continued. "He feels she is a different person lately." According to the news outlet, the insider also confirmed rumors that the pair have hit a "rough patch" in their relationship and are now leading separate lives. The 48-year-old actor has repeatedly been spending time alone and arrived without Perry at the "Deep Cover" premiere during the 2025 Tribeca Festival on June 10 in New York City. The negative and harsh criticism Perry has been facing seemingly took a toll on her and their relationship, as a source told Page Six that "it's over" between them and they "are waiting till her tour is over before they split." The underwhelming reception of her recent album, "143," also didn't help matters, as the project was critically panned, which seemingly resulted in low ticket sales at some of her tour's venues. A source told People Magazine that the poor reception to her album negatively affected her and caused "some tension" in her relationship with Bloom. "Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album," a source told the news outlet. "It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension." "She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship," another source said. Perry is currently on her Lifetimes world tour, which began on April 23 and runs through December 7. Perry and Bloom's relationship has faced challenging times before, following their split in 2017. Addressing the breakup in a 2024 appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, the "Teenage Dreams" singer said both of them "weren't really in it from day one." "He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions," Perry continued. "I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot of real work." In 2023, Bloom also addressed the challenges he and Perry faced in their relationship, insinuating that their different career paths could be a factor in the issues they have encountered. "We're in two very different pools [for their work]. Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands," Bloom told Flaunt. The "Lord Of The Rings" actor continued: "Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging. I won't lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity." "I think we're both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did. And there's definitely never a dull moment," he added.

Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley ‘taken against her will' by cops after allegedly making ‘concerning' comments to family

Scott Wolf's estranged wife, Kelley, was allegedly detained by police just days after the 'Party of Five' alum filed for divorce — and the incident was caught on video. In the blacked-out clip shared on Kelley's Instagram Live on Friday, June 13, the mom of three is heard saying, 'Oh my God. Don't. Oh my God, this is not happening.' At the end of the video, a concerned Kelley, 48, is seen on camera with two police officers. Advertisement She's then heard telling the cops she'll 'go on my own' before what appears to be the sound of handcuffs in the background. Advertisement 'This is shameful, gentlemen,' she tells the officers. 'Look at this, look at this woman, this is shameful. Be ashamed, be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.' At one point, one of the authorities informs Kelley that she's 'not going to jail,' adding they are going to get her 'some help.' 'I know what I'm doing, I've done this. This is my job,' Scott's ex replies. Advertisement It's then that police tell Kelley she's 'made some comments to your dad and comments to people that are concerning,' and they 'want to make sure you're okay.' The video ends by showing Kelley with the two police officers behind her. Scott's estranged wife later added a post to her Instagram Stories about the incident. Advertisement 6 FilmMagic 'This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check in on my kids,' she wrote alongside a photo of her open purse in what appears to be a private waiting room. 'Also… I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been,' Kelley continued. 'I have NO idea why or how this is happening in AMERICA. 'I am compliant, calm and respectful, and hopefully this is all sorted very quickly. In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I've ever experienced.' The details and nature of her detainment is unclear. The Post reached out to Scott's rep for comment. More to come…
