First Festival, Last Festival, Dream Festival with Asha Ari

One week on from All Together Now and the weekend is still playing in our heads like a sun-drenched highlight reel — CMAT's stunning main stage performance, the late-night singalongs at Arcadia, that one set you stumbled upon and never wanted to leave.
In between darting from stage to stage, we found ourselves tucked away at the Jameson Circle Stage, where the vibe was equal parts laid-back hangout and high-octane entertainment.
Over a crisp Jameson, Ginger and Lime and the thump of bass in the background, we traded stories about muddy fields, unexpected headliners, and the shows they still daydream about with some of Ireland's top acts. Between sets and the hum of festival wanderers, we sat down with Asha Ari, fresh from a sun-soaked acoustic set at the Circle Stage to play a quickfire game of First Festival, Last Festival, Dream Festival.
'So the first festival I ever did was Electric Picnic. I did a few different stages at it and I had a great time. Wasn't worried about sleep or anything, and it all went excellent.' View this post on Instagram

'My last festival was actually Forrest Fest. Yeah. So that was quite fun.'
' My dream festival would be Coachella for sure, and just to be cutting shapes on the stage and just working it. I love the fashion there as well, so it would be nice.'
'I think carrying loads of drinks, 'cause I just see like them falling and that gives me anxiety. But I do it anyway. Another festival ick would be like when people are starting the mosh pit. I've been stuck in a mosh pit before and the soles of my shoes have come off. So they kind of scare me. But I might try one this year, maybe.' Following last year's success, Jameson Connects: The Circle returned for the fourth consecutive year, from 31st July to 3rd August, continuing its commitment to unearthing some of Ireland's most exciting up-and-coming talent.
Over three days, more than 20 acts stepped into the spotlight, swapping songs, stories, and, in our case, festival daydreams.
If this year was anything to go by, we'll be talking about these sets long after the tents come down.

Peter Andre furious as he drops bombshell statement on Katie Price

Peter Andre has savagely hit back at ex-wife Katie Price in a scathing upload. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, took to social media as the war of words between the former couple reached new heights. It comes after Katie, 47, slammed those producing their daughter Princess Andre's debut reality TV series. Princess, 18, is seen with her dad throughout the series, while her mum features very little. She had urged Peter to sit down to end their feud. However, now, in a fierce Instagram post, Peter has said: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. "In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months." Peter and Katie share two children together, son Junior as well as daughter Princess, Mirror UK reports. The former couple no longer have anything to do with each other. The former couple haven't spoken since their divorce, following the breakdown of their marriage in 2009. Junior Andre, Peter Andre and Princess Andre at a film premiere in May 2025. (Image: Getty Images) And Katie recently made her feeling be known about Peter's management team managing Princess' career. Katie said she was "very, very upset" at the situation and said she is being left out. She also said she won't be watching the new reality show, which she isn't a part of. The mum-of-five claimed she was banned from her daughter's 18th birthday party and that her former management team – who look after both Peter and Princess – did not want her on the show as they considered her 'trash'. Speaking on her podcast recently, Katie alleged: 'Princess was like 'I'm having a party'. And I wasn't invited because it was for 'filming'.' In the documentary, Princess addressed traumatic memories of her glamour model mum Katie's divorce from Pete as well as her other very public relationships. In a candid confession, Princess said: "I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then. But I don't feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age." Now, Katie has claimed the family could benefit from sitting down and talking. She suggested a sit down talk with Peter and her former management The CAN Group as she said: "I feel like I've missed out on so much and it's so not fair to bring Princess as piggy in the middle so I think it's about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it. Life would be such more at peace." In the latest episode of the podcast, she also shared hopes for the former husband and wife to support their children together. Katie suggested: "There's no reason why both parents can't be there to support her." And speaking about her lack of involvement in Princess' TV show, she went on: "I have to clarify this; I don't care that I'm not in Princess' show I don't need to raise my profile by being in Princess' show I do enough stuff. I'm in the press every day. "All what I want to do is just whatever my daughter does – and it's the same with Junior – I don't care if I'm in the background, but I wanna watch her photoshoots, I wanna watch her do her signings – because that's what I did and my mum and you [sister Sophie Price] and nan used to come along and support and I'm proud of her and I just wanna be there with her."
