Keeping the anniversary spirit alive, Sony has come up with surprises for PS Plus members. 'We're excited to reveal a few more surprises!' shared Adam Michel, PlayStation's director of game services.
'Starting August 5, PlayStation Plus members can claim a special set of 15th Anniversary Avatars, featuring fan-favorite titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal, all available at no additional cost,' he added.

August 2025 PlayStation Plus monthly game lineup offers something for nearly every kind of gamer. It is a diverse mix spanning gritty storytelling, intense survival, and anime-fueled action.
Starting August 5, subscribers across all PS Plus tiers - Essential, Extra, and Premium - can play Lies of P (PS4/PS5), Day Z (PS4), and My Hero One's Justice 2 (PS4), free of cost.
Reportedly, of the three, Lies of P is likely the headliner, an eerie, Pinocchio-inspired soulslike from Round 8 Studio that's drawn critical acclaim. While its recent Overture DLC won't be included in the subscription, the base game alone offers hours of challenging, atmospheric gameplay.

A cult classic game is all set to mark its return with a new time-travel twist. Once Upon a Katamari, the maiden entry in the Katamari Damacy series in 14 years, was announced by Bandai Namco during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase on July 31, IGN reported. Once Upon a Katamari is the new game from Bandai Namco in the Katamari Damacy series.(Nintendo) The latest game will see the Prince of Cosmos heading back to Earth for more action-packed adventures. This marks the first original entry in the highly popular franchise since Touch My Katamari came out in 2011, Polygon reported. Once Upon a Katamari: All you need to know According to Bandai Namco, the new game will retain its spirit and setting in a colorful, whimsical world, where the King of All Cosmos has accidentally destroyed the Earth and stars yet again. As a result, the Prince is tasked to restore it and players have to roll their Katamari across time to collect objects from history, while visiting eras like the Jurassic Period, Ice Age, historic Japan and others. Once Upon a Katamari will certainly take players back in time to experience the signature gameplay of the series and experience a journey across time. South Korean video game company Krafton has reportedly revealed plans to transform its PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) game into a multifaceted platform that would in some ways be similar to what Fortnite and Roblox have done. According to a report by Web Pro News, during a recent investor call, Krafton executives outlined the vision for PUBG 2.0 while focusing on user-generated content, expansive virtual worlds, and social features. Plans to evolve from game into a cultural hub It appears that Krafton is taking inspiration from Fortnite's evolution from a battle royale style game into a cultural hub, which has been used to host music concerts, events, and more. Roblox, on the other hand, has created a creator economy where developers can earn in-game real money and then later exchange it for real-world money. Since PUBG updates are soon rolled out in BGMI so we can already see the pattern of this journey as BGMI has been getting redeem codes akin to another game known as Garena's Free Fire Max. New games and future growth Krafton is also set to release new games, including a new top-down shooter game – PUBG: Blindspot, commencing a closed alpha for its extraction shooter– Project Black Budget later this year.
