Superdrug is launching new Beauty Playgrounds in 30 stores

The first playground opened at its flagship store in Westfield Stratford today, to be followed by 30 more around the country, launching in the next three months, where shoppers can make the most of:
'Try Me Tables' for playful product discovery
Interactive displays showcasing new and exclusive brands
Social content stations with ring lights for beauty lovers and creators
On-hand experts delivering personalised advice and demos
Simon Comins, Superdrug's chief commercial officer, says: 'The beauty shopper is crying out for immersive beauty experiences, but often they find that what they encounter is either temporary or not keeping pace with the latest innovations the industry has to offer.
"With Beauty Playground, we're reimagining what a joyful and innovative beauty experience could and should be, whilst offering a space where customers can discover, learn, experiment, create, and connect with brands and services that meet their unique needs.
"But most of all, at Superdrug we believe beauty should be fun, so we can't wait to welcome customers to their nearest Beauty Playground store, where they can experience and enjoy Superdrug like never before.'
The next batch of Beauty Playgrounds to launch will include Manchester Trafford Centre, Glasgow Braehead and Cardiff St Davids.

Superdrug is partnering with new brands, including the mood-matching fragrance and body care brand Daise, the award-winning natural skin and hair solution Delihicious and the Korean-inspired and TikTok-famous Smuuti.
Daise co-founder Jaimee Lupton says: 'Our partnership with Superdrug is incredibly valuable in helping to bring our next-generation brands to life, through bespoke retail experiences.
"We see this as an exciting extension of the in-store experience for the beauty-savvy shopper, and it's something we're thrilled to be part of.'
The concept builds on the success of the retailer's annual beauty festival, Superdrug Presents.

The matching set has impressed Primark shoppers who think it would be perfect for their holidays Planning holiday outfits is part of the fun for fashion lovers, and for many shoppers, it all starts with their airport outfit. Whether they prefer a comfortable set or want to travel in style, holidaymakers love looking for their perfect look. For shoppers looking for jogger sets, Primark's new £22 matching outfits could be ideal. Customers loved the look of the retailer's new sets when they were highlighted on TikTok. Posting on the platform as @chris_fairley, the blogger shared a video showing off the "new airport sets in 3 colours." ‌ As seen in Chris' video, the sets include a T-shirt and matching joggers in green, cream, or brown. While the items are sold separately, shoppers can snag a set for £22, as the top is priced at £10 while the bottoms will set you back £12. ‌ Viewers loved what they saw. The video gained over 500,000 views, and the comment section was flooded with comments from shoppers who claimed they "need" the outfit. One fan replied: "Omg the brown!" A similar comment read: "Need the brown." A third viewer added: "Omg the brown is so die for!!!" Another social media user replied: "Looks amazing but I swear when we will go there will be non left." Someone else responded: "I got my brown one from river island double the price but I do get lots of compliments on the brown co-ord." Elsewhere, a fashion fan praised: "These cute!" A shopper revealed: "Already bought it." A different response read: "Omg I need one!" Someone else said they'd like to see the set available in more colours. Their comment said: "Wish they did a navy hate black clothing." Chris replied: "These are dark brown not black but they may eventually do more colours." A different shopper commented: "Bruh why's my primark not primarking." Chris replied: "You'll have to come to Liverpool." The blogger also shared the product codes, writing: "Top is 23262 and bottoms 09069." However, the sets don't look like they are currently available on Primark's website. ‌ That said, Primark's website does offer joggers for click and collect. For instance, the women's range includes £12 Straight Leg Sporty Joggers. The product description says: " Easy to wear and even easier to love, these joggers do the most with minimal effort. "They feature a comfy elasticated waistband with a functional drawstring, side pockets for essentials and a clean straight leg fit that's easy to wear. The side stripe adds a sporty feel while the '1991' detail brings a retro nod. Perfect for chilled days or casual plans, they look great with a tee or the matching jacket (sold separately) for a co-ord moment." The matching jacket is the £14 Sporty Zip Through Jacket. Unfortunately, it's not available for click and collect, but shoppers can check stock availability in their nearest store using Primark's website.

TikTok star does keep-ups down Glasgow's Buchanan Street

Sam Madden recently posted a clip on TikTok where he challenged himself to do keep-ups down the city's Style Mile. In the video, Sam said: "Can I do kick-ups the whole way down Buchanan Street. "With Glasgow, I'm a bit worried cause I think there are a lot of people here who'd find it quite funny to just boot the ball away, but let's give it a go. "I will count how many kick-ups it takes, and you'll find out at the end of the video." The social media star started his challenge at the top of Buchanan Street, just outside Holland and Barrett at 229 Buchanan Street. "Challenge is well underway." However, it's not just keepie-ups Sam does heading down Buchanan Street, the football influencer also does some skill moves, including an 'around the world', which is when you juggle the ball up in the air with one foot and bring that same foot all the way around the ball and continue to juggle it with out it hitting the ground. Luckily, the football freestyler completed his challenge and made it to the St Enoch's Shopping Centre without dropping the ball - or anyone booting it away from him. After uploading the clip on social media, fans flocked to the comments of the post to share that they were impressed by Sam's football skills. One person said: "Impressive mate. You should have finished at the Celtic shop." Another added: "I respect the dedication, mate." Meanwhile, several others tried to guess how many keepie-ups Sam did during his trip down Buchanan Street, with some guessing more than 1,000. In total, Sam revealed he did 1,025 keepie-ups during his trip down the bustling shopping street.
