This Morning presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard made an announcement just minutes before the show that they will be taking a break
Just minutes before the start of This Morning, presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard made an announcement that they'll be taking a break from the show.

The news was revealed towards the end of Lorraine Kelly's eponymous ITV talk show on Thursday (July 17) morning. The Scottish host handed over to the presenting duo, Cat, 48, and Ben, 50, who were preparing to deliver the day's top headlines.

Before giving viewers a sneak peek into what the show had in store, Cat disclosed that they wouldn't be gracing screens for the next few weeks as they take their summer break.

Speaking to viewers at home, Cat declared: "Morning, so it's our last show this morning." Ben chimed in with: "Yes, for the summer."
ITV has since unveiled a new line-up of hosts set to fill in on This Morning throughout the summer season, reports the Mirror.
In a video shared on its official Instagram account, ITV introduced the incoming presenters through a series of Polaroid photos displayed on a gingham tablecloth.
Leading the pack are fan favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who will be hosting the Friday slot. They'll be joined by a star-studded roster of guest presenters including Emma Willis, Rylan Clark, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Joel Dommett, Craig Doyle, Sian Welby, and Andi Peters.
Additionally, Olivia Attwood, former Love Island and TOWIE star, will also be making her debut as a presenter on This Morning.

An enthusiastic announcement from the programme's Instagram page declared: "This summer, get ready for the best staycation ever! Holiday from home as some of our favourite faces come together to entertain you. From sofa to sun lounger, brighten up your mornings with our all-star line-up this summer on This Morning."
Predictably, the comments section was awash with reactions as Sian Welby expressed her excitement, writing: "Can't wait." Alison Hammond replied with an upbeat "Yay".

Following her two-year stint on Loose Women, Olivia expressed her delight about her fresh position. She remarked: "It's a huge honour, I've grown up watching this show.
"And being a part of the daytime team with Loose Women has been the best experience and this feels very natural."

This development follows ITV's recent revelation of substantial alterations to its daytime programming. Lorraine's programme will now span just 30 minutes, airing from 9:30am to 10am, running on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks annually.
Good Morning Britain is also poised for a considerable scheduling shift, broadcasting for three and a half hours regularly and extending to a complete four hours during Lorraine's off-season.
Loose Women returns to a 30-week format reminiscent of their pre-2016 arrangement, with these scheduling changes due to take effect from January 2026.

Diversity star makes unlikely cameo in Bonnie Blue's new Channel 4 documentary

One Diversity star made a quick cameo in Bonnie Blue's new Channel 4 documentary in the form of a throwback photo Diversity star Ashley Banjo made an unlikely appearance in Channel 4's new documentary about adult film star Bonnie Blue's life. The adult star became one of the most controversial figures on the internet after encouraging "barely legal" teens to sleep with her in X-rated content she films and profits from, and her content continues to become more and more extreme. ‌ A new Channel 4 documentary, titled "1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story", was recently released and has exposed the often lonely reality of earning millions of pounds while being ostracised. During the documentary, dancer Ashley appeared in a form of a photo where he was seen with his arm around a younger Bonnie. ‌ The photo appeared while the porn star's mum discussed her passion for dance when she was younger. Ashley's name wasn't mentioned in the segment but the picture was clearly showed her past love of dance. It comes after one Mirror writer claimed 'the new Bonnie Blue documentary may be the worst thing I've ever seen on Channel 4'. ‌ Her mum also reminisced about the time Bonnie and her then dance partner won a runners-up trophy in a dancing competition. During the documentary, viewers hear from Bonnie's ex-husband Oliver Davidson for the first time. She revealed it was actually Oliver, or Ollie as he's known to Tia, who encouraged her to move into sex work. ‌ "I met Ollie when I was like 14, 15," she explains in the show. "We got married really young. Pretty, quite intimate wedding, nothing crazy, nothing over the top. Then we relocated to Australia shortly afterwards. "Ollie was beyond supportive, he gave me the confidence to do OnlyFans. And it wasn't because he wanted to pimp me out, he just wanted me to be happy and have control of my life. And obviously the money was good as well." Her ex gushed about Bonnie's sex stunts with the public and even said he's proud of her and her work. He said: "She really connects with the fans. ‌ "Most people, if they do porn, they seem out of reach. You're never going to meet them. You're never going to be able to film with them. "Whereas Bonnie puts a location online, and then obviously her fans can actually film with her. It's like a defining moment in porn, where she's completely changed the game." ‌ In a recent interview, Bonnie explained why things didn't work between the couple. She told the Daily Mail that they broke up some time before she moved back to the UK from Australia in 2024, and that Ollie returned before her. Bonnie also discussed her fears after admitting she last went out by herself six months ago as it is "not that safe". 'I get 100s of death threats a day, so it is not that safe when I walk around," she said. "I say, 'It is going to happen at some point, someone will come and give me stick' and fair play to her, at least they are getting up off their sofa. My worst one is acid, if someone did acid, and I could see some spiteful girl doing that.'

Despite this, the pair found themselves in an argument after the challenge. The boys had to answer which girl they'd couple up with - if their actual partner wasn't in the villa. Meg was left shocked when Dejon picked Yasmin, despite recent tensions with her, Shakira and Toni. The couple bickered as Dejon insisted he'd told Meg this before - but his girlfriend argued she didn't remember the conversation. In a first-look at tonight's instalment, it would appear they are still feuding. Speaking to Conor, Meg shares: "I'm not just gonna stand there. He's put Yas on a board again. "I take so much heat from these three girls. You've put on a board that you would recouple with Yas." Conor then interjected, saying Dejon "may have taken the question too literal". Meg added: "It's a challenge, I don't care about it. Love Island fans 'work out' why Dejon turned on Meg as villa's strongest couple hit the rocks days before final "At the end of the day, we're boyfriend and girlfriend. It doesn't matter." Dejon then approached, remarking: "You're going to stop talking as I'm walking past?" Hearing this, Meg repeated to her boyfriend what she'd just told Conor. She then continued: "He just gets so defensive over everything." Later on, the couple are sat together as Meg says: "I had a little chat with Yas. "Obviously, I don't know whether you know from the boys, but she wrote your name on the board yesterday. LOVE ISLAND 2025 - ALL the dumped stars so far LOVE Island 2025 is in its penultimate week.
