Anirudh Ravichander has pushed back his upcoming Chennai concert, citing overwhelming ticket demand. The 34-year-old singer-composer was slated to perform at Thiruvidanthai on July 26. He issued an official statement, promising fans a 'bigger and better" venue that can accommodate more fans.
Taking to social media, Anirudh Ravichander explained why he and his team decided to postpone the event just a week before. His statement read: 'Due to overwhelming ticket demand and limitations in accommodating more audience at the current venue, the Hukum Chennai concert scheduled for 26th July at Thiruvidanthai is being postponed."
He continued, 'To welcome all fans and deliver a seamless, high-quality experience – including smooth entry and exit and enhanced production – we are shifting to a different venue on a new date, which will be announced soon." He also shared that the refunds will be made in 7-10 working days.
'We sincerely regret the inconvenience and thank you for your incredible support. We'll be back bigger, better, and louder!," the note concluded. 'Dear Hukum Family, Due to the incredible love and overwhelming demand, the Hukum Chennai concert scheduled for July 26 at Thiruvidanthai is being postponed. Recently, it was speculated that Anirudh is all set to marry IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad co-owner Kavya Maran. A post on Reddit also alleged that the duo have been dating for over a year. The post read: 'It is being speculated that music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran – daughter of Sun TV's Kalanithi Maran and owner of the Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL team – are in a relationship. Reports suggest that superstar Rajinikanth has personally spoken to Kalanithi Maran about their relationship, leading to expectations that the couple may tie the knot soon."

'I don't even know why Vijay is being targeted. He's already down because his films aren't working. He said something during the Retro pre-release that became a controversy, and he said something in an interview after that, which was twisted, too,' said Vamsi. The producer is referring to how Vijay compared adivasis to terrorists at the pre-release event of Suriya-starrer Retro in Hyderabad and said, 'They (terrorists) behave like tribals did 500 years ago, fighting without common sense.' He was booked under the SC/ST Act over his remarks. The producer went on to call Vijay the most misunderstood person, stating, 'I agree he used to say something or the other when he was younger. He's the most misunderstood person. You meet him off camera, you'll wonder if it's the same person embroiled in controversy. People don't even have sympathy for him. What's the reason to criticise him so much?' About Kingdom Kingdom is a spy action drama written and directed by Gowtam. It is produced by Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse also star in the film, which will have a sequel.
