Williams' character made their debut in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," as an incredibly smart inventor who is on the same level as Tony Stark. Williams makes her own psuedo Iron Man armor, but runs afoul of the Talokan people for using vibranium.
The result of the suit being made leads to a war between the Wakandans and Talokan people and Namor, who are hellbent on keeping vibranium from reaching the outside world. Since then, Williams returned to the U.S., and now faces bigger threats from making an even more advanced armor suit.

More streaming: 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' Early Reactions Are Very Telling
With the premiere looming, the internet is already being loaded with early reviews of the latest Marvel series, and they are overwhelmingly one-sided.
I watched all six episodes of #Ironheart and it deserves your attention. It's better than most recent Marvel Studios theatrical releases and is one of the rare good MCU TV shows. Dominique Thorne is a star, peak production values, no idea what it's leading to but I'd like more.🧵 pic.twitter.com/tjgfsiDjtg — Rob Keyes (@rob_keyes) June 24, 2025

Oh, I can talk about #Ironheart now? I've seen all 6 episodes. I'm a bit surprised Marvel didn't market this more. It's starts pretty strong and gets better and better as the series progresses. #Ironheart is ripe with cultural nuance, millennial nostalgia, and—yes—heart. It deals with complex human ailments such as grief and poverty thru the lens of a stubborn teenager fiercely portrayed by Dominique Thorne. And it cannot be overstated just how Black the show is. 7.5/10 pic.twitter.com/324jy0a0ia — rihaana⚡️ (@starkbuy) June 24, 2025

I had the opportunity and to watch #Ironheart and it was amazing! The show was produced incredibly well, loved the cast, and the writing was solid & keeps raising the stakes each episode. It was a long time coming but it was worth the wait because they knocked it out the park. pic.twitter.com/EJdZN5w292 — Ricardo C (@RCImperius) June 24, 2025

The first 3 episodes of Marvel's Ironheart are good.. the last 3 episodes are GREAT! It's a lot more emotional than I expected & I found myself crying quite often. Dominique Thorne is a freaking star. Her chemistry with Lyric Ross - phenomenal! Episode 6 had me like 😱 #Ironheart pic.twitter.com/j3zpkNeLVD — Tessa Smith - Mama's Geeky (@MamasGeeky) June 24, 2025

Puppy Left Feeling 'So Mad' at New Owners, Reason Goes Viral
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. A Hungarian Vizsla puppy has gone viral on TikTok after sulking in an adorably dramatic fashion when told off for biting his dad's hand. Annalee (@otisbegotus), from Georgia, shared a clip of her 12-week-old puppy, Otis, lying flat on his back, visibly upset after being scolded for playful biting. His mood worsened when his pawrents laughed at him. The video struck a chord online, racking up more than 47,000 likes and almost 300,000 views on TikTok. "He sometimes will sulk if we tell him no, but that video was the most dramatic sulk yet. He usually is very playful and happy! His skin is so loose, and he has so many wrinkles that it just makes him look like even more of a grumpy old man when he pouts," Annalee told Newsweek. In the now-viral video, Otis lies limp and unimpressed while his dad, Jake, strokes his leg with a concerned arm around him. When Annalee asks, "Are you mad?", the puppy responds with a pointed side-eye that viewers have called Oscar-worthy. A split image showing Otis the puppy sulking. A split image showing Otis the puppy sulking. @otisbegotus/@otisbegotus According to Annalee, Otis is a clever and affectionate pup who loves to cuddle and be close to his humans. She described him as having a "big personality" and being "very sassy," often responding to their questions with whines and vocalizations. He enjoys playing fetch and starting his day outdoors listening to the birds. The dramatic episode began when Otis was sitting in Jake's lap, nibbling on his hands with his sharp puppy teeth. After being told "no," he stopped immediately—but the playtime cutoff didn't go down well. His pouty face and full-body sulk made it clear he wasn't ready to quit. Despite his theatrical tendencies, Annalee said, Otis is a wonderful companion. "He's such a great pup and we are so lucky to have him. He's going to make a great life companion!" For those dealing with similar puppy antics, charity Dogs Trust advises teaching puppies to stop biting by redirecting their attention to toys, using consistent commands, and ensuring they have plenty of stimulation and rest. Puppies often explore the world with their mouths, but with calm, reward-based training, most grow out of the behavior. Otis's emotional spiral resonated with many dog owners in the comments. "Our viz is almost 7 and he still stomps his feet, strops if we dare go up to bed later than 9pm, and puts his gums up if we don't understand what he's whining to us about. But he is my best friend in the whole world," shared Gem. "Don't you dare laugh at that sweet boy ever again … he's sensitive," added Ashley. A third user wrote: "My puppy was just like this. A simple 'No' sends him into a shame spiral. The benefit is he only needs told no once and he'll never do it again." One Vizsla owner posted: "My older vizsla could tell when you were making fun of her or laughing at her and let me tell you, she did NOT like that." Pet Owner Says This 'Should Be the Standard' When Walking Dogs
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A dog owner has shared what she believes "should be the standard" for dogs when walking off-leash in a viral video on Instagram. Maria Morgana, 36, lives with certified therapy dog Hudson, a 3-year-old golden retriever who has gone viral for his great off-leash skills. In a video posted under the handle @hudsonstaysgolden, Morgana showed off Hudson's leash walking on a busy sidewalk as he stayed stuck to his owner's side, focus completely on her, until he was given the word that he could move further. "POV: This should be the standard," Morgana, who lives in North Bergen, New Jersey, captioned the post, sparking conversation about modern dog ownership and the importance of having good control over your pet in public. "The video wasn't something I planned," Morgana told Newsweek. "We walk like this all the time. But I posted it because I think a lot of people underestimate what calm, connected walking can look like—especially without a leash." Hudson showing off his walking skills in the viral video. Hudson showing off his walking skills in the viral video. @hudsonstaysgolden/Instagram Morgana emphasizes that the video wasn't meant as a critique of others. Instead, she hopes it inspires dog owners to consider the role of relationship-building in training. "Off-leash walking isn't where training starts. It starts at home—through daily habits, play, and trust," she said. "Hudson's not just trained, we're deeply bonded. That's what keeps him close—not a leash." With 1.9 million views, the video sparked praise from viewers who were pleased to see a dog walking so well in public. "Respecting public space matters. Reactive dogs deserve patience and distance, not judgment or confrontation. People let their dogs off and assume it'll be fine. That's not the standard we should accept," Morgana said. Research shows that many pet owners don't have the control Morgana does over their dogs. A 2021 survey of over 2,000 pet owners found that more than 82 percent of owners said their dogs pull on a leash. While another 2022 survey found that 80 percent of dog owners struggle with their dog's recall off leash. "I wouldn't expect all dogs to walk like that off-lead. Personally, I love to see dogs being dogs: sniffing, exploring, and engaging with their environment. My own dog is often off-lead, happily sniffing bushes or having a wee," Rachel Rodgers, pet behaviorist at Napo Pet Insurance, told Newsweek. "Not every dog is going to walk perfectly in step, and that's totally normal. What really matters is that your dog responds to you, has a reliable recall, and an effective emergency stop. They don't need to have their nose in line with your toes at all times—that kind of precision mainly serves the human, not the dog. At the end of the day, your dog's safety, wellbeing, and happiness are what truly count." When asked how others might achieve similar results, Morgana keeps it simple: "Start with play. Become your dog's favorite thing. Work on neutrality. Reward calmness. Learn what motivates your dog." Hudson's walk has since sparked hundreds of positive comments from dog lovers and trainers alike. "This is beautiful!" said one viewer. "If only everyone would be able to do this before letting their dog off leash." While another said: "Can we hire him? For his brothers and sisters out there that need some training." "Lovely interaction and bonding between you two!" wrote another Instagram user. Morgana clarified that her video wasn't meant to shame dog owners, but to educate what can be done with the right training. "There's no one-size-fits-all," she said. "But dogs are capable of incredible things when we meet them halfway." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A new grandfather visiting the hospital to meet his first grandchild went to check on someone else first—his daughter, who had just given birth. Riho Maruyama (@ from Hawaii shared a heartwarming clip on Instagram showing her family excited to meet the new addition, while her father, Paul, had other priorities. "He walked straight over to me to make sure I was OK," Maruyama told Newsweek. "It was such a small, quiet moment, but now it means everything to me." From left: The new grandparents walk into the maternity ward. From left: The new grandparents walk into the maternity ward. @ The clip, which was captured by Maruyama's sister, didn't fully sink in for the new mom until she watched the footage back. "I didn't realize what happened at the time because I was just so happy labor was over," the 26-year-old said. "But seeing it on video later really hit me; like, 'Wow, that's who he is at his core.' Even in the middle of something as big as meeting his first grandchild, his instinct was to check on me, his baby." That quiet instinct is something Maruyama said defines her father. In her caption, she wrote: "The quiet strength behind every hard moment, and the example I look to every day. The kind of dad who never asks for attention but deserves all of it." The new mom told Newsweek that her dad never asks for recognition and is a selfless man led by his faith. "He always reminds us to stay centered in Jesus Christ," Maruyama said. "He's Christlike in the way he loves and shows up for people. He's the best man I know." Maruyama's clip has gone viral on Instagram, amassing almost 3 million views. In the comments, she received an outpouring of emotional responses. "Not me crying. We are so blessed to have these men, our fathers, be our first love. They never stop seeing us as their little girls," one user commented. "My Dad did the same thing while I gave birth he stood in the hallway to listen and make sure I was OK," another wrote. Maruyama didn't expect her clip to go viral. "It was such a personal moment, so the response has been really touching," she said. "I think it's resonated because a lot of people have experienced something similar—their dad being there for them after giving birth or showing love in quiet ways. I love that it's sparked so many positive, emotional stories in the comments," Maruyama said. "It's been beautiful to read."
