"But deep down I know what I've done.
"I know what I've done for the sport, and I know what I've done for myself.
"And it's not slowing down one bit."
Littler's impact has been well documented and PDC CEO Matt Porter believes that he is becoming bigger than darts itself.
He added: "We always penetrated the sports media world quite well, but Luke's been of interest to wider media.
"Whether it's entertainment or media aimed at young people.
"Luke transcends the sport."
Luke's impact on darts is clear to see in the hike in the prize money available to players.

West Ham unlikely to start legal battle with the FA if Lucas Paqueta is cleared of spot-fixing after two-year saga and collapse of dream Man City move
West Ham are unlikely to start a furious legal battle with the FA if Lucas Paqueta is cleared of spot-fixing in a two-year saga that led to the collapse of an £85million move to Manchester City. The bombshell verdict on whether Paqueta deliberately picked up four yellow cards during Premier League matches to influence betting markets is due to land in the coming days with sources suggesting the Brazilian is expected to be cleared. Paqueta was on the verge of a mega move to Manchester City in August 2023 when Mail Sport broke the news that the Brazilian was under investigation by the FA for four suspicious bookings. City pulled the plug as soon as West Ham made them aware of the investigation, costing Paqueta a dream move, potentially his entire career, and West Ham a huge payday. The investigation and trial is believed to have cost the club nearly £2m in fees and it remains to be seen whether the FA will have to stump up the bill, though club insiders believe it unlikely. West Ham will look to sell Paqueta this summer to help fund Graham Potter 's squad overhaul but stand no chance of landing a fee anywhere near as large. Paqueta's potential clearing has led for calls from the fan base to take action against the FA for the club missing out on a huge windfall. They needed to sell players before they could buy this summer to keep in line with PSR rules and they didn't make their first signing until Mohammed Kudus's £55m move to Tottenham. West Ham are furious at how long the trial has taken, and the toll it has taken on Paqueta, however senior Hammers sources told Mail Sport the club would not consider taking action against the FA. It's understood West Ham don't think it would be good for football if they were to sue the game's custodians. An emotional return to hometown club Flamengo is a possibility for Paqueta, though sources say the Hammers would want in way in excess of £25m otherwise will not consider selling him.

Will Lauren James play in Euro 2025 final? England vs Spain predicted line-ups
Lauren James was part of a 23-player England squad involved in training on Saturday morning ahead of the Euro 2025 final clash against Spain. The Lionesses are hoping to be crowned champions of Europe once again on Sunday following their triumph at Euro 2022 under Sarina Wiegman. England face a tough test against Spain, who beat them in the 2023 World Cup final, with supporters keep to know how Wiegman's side will line up. Metro has predicted the England XI for the Euro 2025 final – and you can scroll down for the latest team news, start time and how to watch it… Lionesses star James remains in a race to prove her fitness after being forced off at half time in Tuesday's semi-final comeback win over Italy. James picked up an ankle injury – and despite training the day before the final – Wiegman has said that she is unsure if the player will be fully fit. 'She's still recovering,' Wiegman said on Friday. 'She's doing things on the pitch and we have two more days so we're going to give her time. 'We don't know yet [if she'll be ready], but that's what we're going to go for – [we want to have] 23 players available for the game on Sunday.' If James is unable to start, Chloe Kelly could take her spot on the right wing after scoring a 119th-minute winner off the bench against Italy. England centre-back Esme Morgan made her first major tournament start last time out and is set to keep her place next to captain Leah Williamson. Alessia Russo looks set to start for the Lionesses too despite Michelle Agyemang's late heroics in the last two knockout games from the bench. Spain, meanwhile, are set to have Laia Aleixandri return to the backline after she served a one-match ban against Germany on Wednesday. Viewers will have a choice between BBC One and ITV 1, with both TV channels providing live coverage of the final in the United Kingdom. Analysis from Metro's Sports Reporter Liam Grace… England's road to the Euro 2025 final has been a rollercoaster of resilience and emotion – last-gasp equalisers, heart-stopping penalty drama and a defiant response to their opening ground-stage defeat to France have all shaped a storyline worthy of the grandest stage. Now, the Lionesses stand on the edge of history, with an opportunity to become the first England team ever to defend a major tournament title. It is Spain, the tournament favourites before a ball was kicked, who stand in their way. La Roja are aiming to make their own history – having never been crowned champions of Europe before – and they have a number of impressive stars who can cause England problems. Having scored four goals in five matches, Spain forward Esther Gonzalez enters the final as the tournament's leading scorer. England will also have to deal with the likes of Aitana Bonmati, Alexia Putellas and Athenea del Castillo – some of the best players in women's football. We're set for a fiery rematch of the 2023 World Cup final – with previous clashes between the two nations packed with tension – so expect more of the same on Sunday… with England hopefully coming out on top. Prediction: England 2-1 Spain Speaking ahead of the final, England manager Wiegman said: 'I think that both teams have so much respect for each other. 'They are good on the ball, so I expect they'll have the ball a little bit more, but we have played games where we've had a certain amount of ball possession too. More Trending 'We are just preparing as well as possible. We have to defend really well and try to harm them at other moments.' Spain head coach Montse Tome added: 'It's an incredible joy to be in the final. I'm very happy for the players, the staff, and everything we are building here in Switzerland. 'Now, it's time to recover. We'll start looking at England more closely, although our analysts have already been watching them live and studying their performances. 'We're going to dive deeper into their game, and we're going all in.' Wife of Hollywood actor claims she's ‘always broke' and ‘lives pay cheque to pay cheque'
HER husband is one of Hollywood's biggest comedy actors, but despite this, Dawn O'Porter has revealed she is struggling to make ends meet financially. The television presenter, 46, who has been married to Bridesmaids actor Chris O'Dowd since 2012, has opened up about her money woes. PADawn O'Porter has opened up about her financial struggles[/caption] GettyDawn is married to Hollywood actor Chris O'Dowd[/caption] AlamyChris got his big break in Hollywood with a role in the comedy caper Bridesmaids[/caption] She expressed to MailOnline: 'I work pay cheque to pay cheque. I'm always broke. My card got declined last week. I'm like, what the f*** is happening? When will this end?' The Scottish writer and director has had a varied career, presenting several documentaries and shows including BBC's Super Slim Me and How To Look Good Naked on Channel 4. Meanwhile, Chris, 45, has starred in some of Hollywood's biggest productions, including This Is 40, Thor: The Dark World, Gulliver's Travels and St. Vincent. The couple have two children, sons Art, 11, and Valentine, who is eight years old. The family returned to London last Summer after living in Los Angeles for the past eight years. This isn't the first time Dawn has opened up about her financial woes as she previously alluded to living quite a humble lifestyle. While appearing on the White Wine Question Time podcast with Kate Thornton, she explained: 'I've never seen myself as a celebrity. 'Even though I'm married to Chris, who is quite a well-known actor, I don't think either of us have ever seen ourselves as celebrities. 'I guess if I was a celebrity, I'd get paid lots of money to do things that aren't necessarily my job or don't really feed what I do, but I don't. My job is writing, with the occasional little ad on Instagram to pay the rent.' After struggling to find her place in the bright lights of Hollywood, Dawn decided to return to the UK but it wasn't smooth sailing. She recounted: 'We were living in LA and I just said to Chris, I've got to go back to London to try and claw back my career. 'And we came back to London for a bit and I'd go for these meetings at TV production companies and I'd been successful. 'I had my own series on Channel 4… and they'd be like, 'What do you want to do?' and I was like, 'I want to do what I do'. But no one wanted to employ me.' The mum-of-two had a regular column with Stylist magazine which she was dropped by and that really affected her confidence. 'I was cool. I had my own show on Channel 4… then as my career just kind of… declined, I think they looked at me and were like, well she's just not that interesting anymore,' Dawn revealed, 'It was the final blow to my confidence. I was absolutely on the floor because I always felt that writing would be the thing that saved me. Dawn released her first novel in 2013, Paper Aeroplanes, which is a fictional story loosely inspired by her upbringing in Guernsey. She went on to release The Cows in 2016 which earned her a place on the Sunday Times Best Sellers List. GettyThe couple moved back to London after spending eight years living in Los Angeles[/caption]
