King Charles and Queen Camilla have released three official photographs to mark their 20th wedding anniversary.
The images were captured in Rome following the couple's arrival for a four-day state visit.
Upon arriving in Rome on Monday, Camilla was overheard telling a member of the welcoming group she was 'delighted' to be in Italy, a visit made at the request of the UK Government and celebrating UK-Italy ties.
Originally, King Charles had also planned to visit Pope Francis at the Vatican, but this was postponed after the Pope was advised to rest following his life-threatening bout of pneumonia.
The visit comes after Charles has faced his own health concerns. He was forced to postpone his engagements on March 28 following a short stay in hospital after experiencing side effects from his cancer treatment.
It coms as Meghan Markle's new podcast Confessions Of A Female Founder, in which the Duchess of Sussex promises 'girl talk' and advice on how to create 'billion-dollar businesses', is set to launch today.
The production is the latest in Meghan's flurry of output after her much-criticised Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan and her new brand As Ever.
Its release comes as Prince Harry's case concerning his personal security arrangements is to be heard over two days before the Court of Appeal, after the Home Office changed his level of security for UK visits in 2020.
Prince Harry appeals the loss of his UK security detail
Prince Harry wants his British security detail restored and is taking his case to an appeals court.
Harry, whose titles include the Duke of Sussex, lost his government-funded protection in February 2020 after he stepped down from his role as a working member of the royal family and moved to the U.S.
His lawyer is scheduled to challenge a lower court ruling Tuesday at the Court of Appeal in London.
A High Court judge ruled last year that a government panel's decision to provide 'bespoke' security for Harry on an as-needed basis was not unlawful, irrational or unjustified.

Meghan Markle offers free gifts to As Ever customers after products sold out

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, debuted her highly anticipated brand, As Ever, on April 2, and all the products sold out in less than an hour.
However, some customers learned that after they'd purchased items — including raspberry jams, flower sprinkles, and wildflower honey — those products had already sold out.

King and Queen arrive in Rome for visit celebrating UK's close ties to Italy
The King and Queen's visit to Italy will leave a 'priceless' legacy strengthening the 'closeness' between the UK and the EU nation, Britain's ambassador to Italy has said.
Charles and Camilla arrived on the outskirts of Rome in a plane escorted over the Italian capital by F-35 Italian air force jets that left a deafening sound in their wake and heralded the start of the couple's four-day trip celebrating Britain's ties with Italy.
Edward Llewellyn, the UK's ambassador to Italy and San Marino, said before the couple touched down at the Italian air force section of Ciampino International airport: 'This visit will deliver a meaningful and broad legacy, above all their majesties will do something intangible but priceless.'

Prince Harry hopes charity watchdog's Sentebale probe will uncover 'blatant lies'
Prince Harry says he hopes the Charity Commission will uncover the truth about what went on at a charity he founded, claiming 'blatant lies' had been told amid a boardroom battle that led to his quitting.
The commission has announced it is escalating its investigations into 'concerns raised' about Sentebale, a week after it emerged the Duke of Sussex had resigned as patron and a string of trustees had also stepped down.
The watchdog said on Thursday it had opened a regulatory compliance case into the charity, which he founded in 2006.

King Charles dragged into Prince Andrew spy scandal
The Duke of York and his former adviser twice went to Windsor 'without being seen' to talk to the King about an investment fund linked to an alleged Chinese spy, according to newly released tribunal documents.
Yang Tengbo, who has previously said he had 'done nothing wrong or unlawful', was excluded from the UK on national security grounds in March 2023 after officials claimed he had been in a position to generate relationships between prominent UK figures and senior Chinese officials 'that could be leveraged for political interference purposes'.
Mr Yang – also known as Chris Yang – unsuccessfully challenged the decision at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC) last year, with judges finding the businessman was a 'close confidant' of Andrew and had 'won a significant degree, one could say an unusual degree, of trust' from the duke.

Hollyoaks actor urges 'murdered' mum's friends not to go to stepdad's funeral

An actor whose mother was victim of a murder-suicide has urged her friends not to attend the suspected killer's funeral. Dawn Kerr was found dead alongside her husband Andrew Searle's body in the Aveyron region of France on February 6. The prosecutor in charge of the case previously described the case as a murder-suicide, in which Searle is alleged to have killed his wife before taking his own life. There was no evidence that anyone else was involved in the deaths. Prosecutor Fabrice Belargent previously said that 'the analysis carried out does not so far show any evidence that a third party was involved'. More than six months later Searle's body has been released by the French authorities and his funeral has been planned. But Dawn's two children, Hollyoaks actor Callum Kerr along with his sister Amanda, have issued a statement asking friends of their mum not to attend his funeral. They said that while the investigation into the deaths was ongoing, they 'cannot ignore the circumstances as they stand'. In the statement shared on social media, the siblings said: 'In the absence of any evidence suggesting third-party involvement in the tragic death of our mother, Dawn Kerr, the prevailing hypothesis remains that of a murder-suicide. 'Our mother was killed by multiple blows to the head, and Andrew was found deceased by hanging. 'His injuries are consistent with self-hanging, and no defensive wounds were found on his body. 'While the official investigation is ongoing, we cannot ignore the circumstances as they stand. 'For this reason, we must respectfully but firmly request that our mother not be included in any way in the funeral arrangements being made for Andrew. 'Please do not share photographs of them together. Please do not attend Andrew's service if you were a friend of our mother. 'It would be inappropriate for her memory to be associated with a service honouring the man who, based on all available evidence, may have been responsible for her death. 'We ask for understanding, privacy and respect as we continue to grieve and seek justice for our mum.' More Trending Dawn's body was found in the garden of the couple's home in Les Pesquiès, about an hour north of Toulouse, with severe wounds to her head. Searle's body was found inside the house. Police were called after a neighbour went to check on the couple when they didn't turn up to a planned dog walk. The couple, who were both aged in their 60s, previously lived in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, and married in France in 2023 with son Callum walking Dawn down the aisle. They had lived in the Aveyron region for five years. Callum played PC George Kiss in Hollyoaks, and has also appeared in Netflix's Virgin River. He lives in the US where he also has a country music career. Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at webnews@ For more stories like this, check our news page. Professor Brian Cox ‘excited' to receive Francis Crick Institute scholarship

BBC science presenter Professor Brian Cox has said he is 'excited' after receiving a scholarship from the Francis Crick Institute. As part of the scholarship, the 57-year-old will present a new podcast called A Question Of Science, produced by BBC Studios and recorded at the London biomedical research centre. Cox said: 'Science doesn't happen in isolation. The way we fund it, regulate it, and apply it, all depend on reaching across boundaries. 'I'm excited to bring a different perspective to the Crick and its science, and I'm personally fascinated by the convergence of physics with the questions being asked by biologists at one of the best research institutions in the world. 'The podcast A Question Of Science, has already shown that the real experts have much to say about issues that affect all of us and that scientists can even be entertaining.' His role will also see him promoting, explaining and exploring multidisciplinary research and championing the role of science in the world. Paul Nurse, chief executive and director of the institute, said: 'We are very much looking forward to working with Brian, who will be a great addition to the Crick community. 'As scientists, it's important for us to remain outward facing. Brian has a natural ability to link the scientific community with wider society, pioneering new ways to engage the public and acting as an advocate for science and its potential to improve the lives of millions.' The new podcast will launch on September 17, with episodes looking at subjects such as climate change, cures for cancer and AI, and will run for 12 episodes. Cox is best known for BBC shows such as Brian Cox's Adventures In Space And Time, The Planets and Forces Of Nature. Before becoming a physicist, Cox was a keyboard player in dance band D:Ream, who are best known for their song Things Can Only Get Better.

These 'ugly' Birkenstocks will be everywhere this autumn - here's how I'm styling them

Daily Mail journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more Let's be honest, we all thought the Birkenstock Boston clogs were just a phase. An unexpected shoewear trend sported by celebrities like Katie Holmes, Kendall Jenner and Dakota Johnson that we'd forget about after a season (or two). But here we are, at the end of another summer of women pairing their floral frocks and linen co-ords with the cork-soled, closed-toe clog and one thing is clear: the grandad look is here to stay. The Boston clogs have become somewhat of a cult purchase – people queue in front of its flagship stores in London to get their hands on a pair. But this season, an even 'uglier' shoe slowly crept up the ranks on TikTok: the Birkenstock Naples Wrapped clogs. Reminiscent of a penny loafer, the suede shoe is another closed-toe design that's easy to slip on. It's priced at £150 and comes in five colourways: the ever so-popular taupe shade, a grey-ish brown shade, a faded purple, a thyme green and black. Just like the Boston clog, the Naples clog has that cork-latex footbed Birkenstock has become famous for, featuring a deep heel cup, heel mould, arch supports and toe grips. It also has an oh-so-comfy two-component sole that provides all-day cushion and support. While there's no denying it's a casual shoe, it's surprisingly versatile and can be dressed up with some clever styling. Ahead, I've styled four outfits with the Naples Wrapped clogs that I'll be wearing for autumn.
