Alright, One Piece crew, let's talk about Episode 1137! The Egghead Arc's been serving up drama, tears, and straight-up chaos, and this next episode, called 'I'm Sorry, Dad – Bonney's Tears and Kuma's Fist,' is about to crank it all up. After that heart-shattering Kuma backstory, I'm dying to see what's next for Bonney, Luffy, and the gang. So, when's it dropping, and what's the vibe? Let's break it down. One Piece Episode 1137 Release Date
Alright, mark your calendars: One Piece Episode 1137 hits Japanese TV on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 11:15 PM JST. There was a week-long break because of some election coverage in Japan, but we're back in action now! For those of us watching from outside Japan, you can catch it on Crunchyroll with English subs right as it airs.
Here's when you can expect it in different time zones: Pacific Time (PDT) : 7:15 AM, July 27, 2025
Eastern Time (EDT) : 10:15 AM, July 27, 2025
UK (BST) : 3:15 PM, July 27, 2025
Central Europe (CEST) : 4:15 PM, July 27, 2025
India (IST) : 7:45 PM, July 27, 2025
Philippines (PST) : 10:15 PM, July 27, 2025
Australia (ACST): 11:45 PM, July 27, 2025 What to expect in One Piece Episode 1137
After the tear-jerker that was Kuma's flashback (seriously, who wasn't crying?), Episode 1137 brings us back to the chaos on Egghead Island. The title alone—'I'm Sorry, Dad – Bonney's Tears and Kuma's Fist'—is giving us major hints about what's coming. Here's what I'm expecting, based on the previews and the arc's vibe: Bonney's Big Moment
Jewelry Bonney's been through it, y'all. After diving into Kuma's memories and learning about his heartbreaking sacrifices, she's face-to-face with Saint Saturn in his creepy demon form. The title suggests she's gonna let those emotions out—tears and all—and maybe channel that pain into some serious action. I'm rooting for her to stand tall and show Saturn she's not backing down. Kuma's Epic Comeback?
The previews are teasing something huge: Kuma might show up on Egghead to save Bonney! After everything we learned about his past—losing his free will to become a cyborg for the World Government—this could be his moment to shine. Picture this: Kuma swooping in with a fist ready to throw down. It's gonna be wild if he takes on Saturn to protect his daughter. Straw Hats in Trouble
Luffy and the crew are stuck in a tight spot, surrounded by Marines and dealing with Saturn's overwhelming power. The Egghead Arc's been building to a massive showdown, and Episode 1137 could bring some intense fights as the Straw Hats try to protect Dr. Vegapunk and figure out how to get off the island. Luffy's never one to back down, so expect some classic Straw Hat chaos.

Man Tries To Relax on Lake Float—but He Has Two Golden Retrievers

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. With golden retrievers, relaxation can be an elusive thing. That didn't stop one man online from trying, though. His afternoon enjoying a peaceful float on a lake was hilariously interrupted by his two devoted goldens, whose unwavering loyalty—and perhaps a touch of "fear of missing out"—prompted an impromptu "rescue" mission. The adorable scene, captured in a viral TikTok video, has gone viral with over 2.7 million views. "'Spotted: Dad alone. On float. Without us. He looks like he needs us. Does he even have snacks? We must go rescue,'" the creator captioned the video, imagining the dogs' inner dialogue. "'Emotional support en route. Target acquired … Backup has arrived … no man left behind. No raft left afloat.'" One by one, the dogs plunged into the water, swimming toward their owner. The first golden retriever reached the inflatable and clambered aboard with a splash, followed shortly by its equally determined sibling. The result? A deflating inflatable and a man now submerged under the weight of two very loving, but heavy, golden retrievers. The creator's page says the goldens, named Whaler and Flapjack, adore swimming. "If there's water, we're in it," the profile reads. Internet viewers quickly fell in love with the dogs' earnest, if misguided, heroism in the video. TikTok users flooded the comments with laughter and relatable stories. "'Dad looks like he's resting peacefully! Must change that!'" one commenter added. "Lovely," another wrote. "How could anyone beat the love these guys have for their human?" Stock image: A tan-colored dog swims in a lake. Stock image: A tan-colored dog swims in a lake. Nataba/Getty Images Many viewers found humor in the dogs' single-minded focus on their owner—even at the expense of his relaxation: "Dad probably been out there since morning coffee trying to get some … peaceful sunlight," one person posted. The canines' approach to the "rescue" was also a source of amusement. "The funniest part was the first mud trail. Golden one has a visual on the target and has engaged. Golden two sweeping in for clean-up," a commenter said. Some viewers offered practical advice, suggesting ways to ensure the dogs' safety during their water adventures. "You should get them life jackets," one wrote. "I had one and it made my parents feel so much better and I got to swim for longer!" These golden retrievers, known for their friendly and loyal nature, seem to fully embody the spirit of "no man left behind"—even if it means sacrificing their human's peaceful float. Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on July 28, 2025, 17:15 IST The announcement of Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 has fans buzzing with excitement. This isekai favorite, packed with humor, action, and a skeletal hero who's all heart, left everyone wanting more after its first season ended in June 2022. With Season 2 confirmed, here's a rundown of what's known about the release date, cast, plot, and what's next for Arc and his pals. Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Potential Release Date In December 2024, the 10th Anniversary Memorial Fest! Overlap Bunko All-Star Gathering Special Night Dream Fest confirmed Season 2 with a teaser visual, sending fans into a frenzy. No exact release date has dropped yet, but let's piece together the clues. The first season, which aired from April to June 2022, covered the first three volumes of Ennki Hakari's light novels. Anime production timelines often take a couple of years, and with Studio Kai and Hornets back in the driver's seat, a mid-to-late 2025 release feels like a solid guess—maybe summer or fall. Keep tabs on Crunchyroll or the official Skeleton Knight website for trailers or updates, which usually pop up a few months before the premiere. Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Expected Cast The voice actors from Season 1 brought the characters to life, and the core crew is expected to return. Based on what's out there, here's who's likely back: Tomoaki Maeno as Arc, the skeletal knight hiding his bony face behind a helmet while saving the day and cooking curry. Ai Fairouz as Ariane, the tough-as-nails elf warrior who's got a soft spot for Ponta and a growing bond with Arc. Nene Hieda as Ponta, the fluffy fox who steals every scene with pure cuteness. Miyu Tomita, Takuya Eguchi, and Kōsuke Toriumi rounding out the supporting cast, bringing the fantasy world to life. Fans loved the chemistry between Arc, Ariane, and Ponta in Season 1, and no new characters have been announced yet. But with Season 2 diving into later light novel volumes, expect some fresh voices to join the mix. Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Potential Plot Season 1 ended with Arc revealing his true (bony) face to Chiyome and setting off to figure out how to break his curse. If the anime sticks to the light novels, Season 2 should pick up with Volume 4, titled In Hot Water . And yes, there's an actual hot spring involved. Arc heads to a mystical hot spring that might hold the key to turning him back into a human. Naturally, things go sideways—this is Arc, after all. There's some classic hijinks, a bit of unexpected trouble, and of course, Ponta being adorable through it all. Meanwhile, back in the kingdom, Princess Yuriarna's story gets more focus. She's not just sitting pretty; she's gearing up to take on her scheming brother Prince Sekt, who's clearly up to no good. What fans love about this series is how it blends darker themes—like slavery and corruption—with lighter moments and feel-good chaos. Arc is the kind of hero who'll teleport into battle one minute and make you dinner the next. There's also a slow burn happening between him and Ariane, and the novels hint at some romantic development on the horizon. Crunchyroll is Bringing More Anime to Movie Theaters

The last few years have seen anime movies and premiere episodes take to the big screen and make a ton of money, so Crunchyroll is getting on that with its new Anime Nights program. During San Diego Comic-Con, the streamer/distributor revealed its plan to put an anime on the silver screen for the third Monday of every month to 'honor the past, elevate the present, and celebrate the future of anime.' The titles will range from fan favorites and anniversaries to 'curated' TV episodes, and even previews of upcoming hot series Crunchyroll really wants to promote. Select theaters for participating US chains like AMC, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse will be part of the program. '[This] is a shared experience that honors the art form, invites fans into the world of creators, and brings anime to life in a theatrical setting,' said Crunchyroll's EVP of Commerce, Mitchel Berger. 'We're committed to the theatrical experience, and there's something powerful about watching beloved anime surrounded by friends and fellow fans in a theater. It's a unique opportunity to connect to the anime community every month to honor stories they love.' First up is Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A lonely dragon wants to be loved on October 20, followed by the first seven episodes of Overlord on November 17 in celebration of the anime's 10-year anniversary. Then, on December 15, Crunchyroll will provide an exclusive first look at some upcoming anime, which it's currently not saying anything more about. Tickets for these releases aren't available yet, but expect them to go on sale closer to release, if they're playing in your area. Want more io9 news?
