McDonald's fans fume after 'best ever' menu item is quietly discontinued
McDonald's fans are left fuming after 'best' menu item is quietly taken off the menu.
The Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap was a firm favourite among the fast food chains customers, after it launched in 2023.
The burger chain discontinued the item as part of a 'rotation' of its menu, which the brand is known to do every few months.
The popular wrap, which contained chicken breast strips, crispy onions, bacon and lettuce, wrapped in a soft tortilla, was removed from the menu earlier this month.
A McDonald's spokesperson told The Sun: 'As part of our regular wrap rotation, we've taken the Caesar wrap off the menu for now.
'We're always evolving our menu with our customers in mind to keep things fresh and exciting.'
McDonald's is known for shaking up the menu every few months and often items return.
That means there is a chance the Chicken Caesar Wrap could make a return at some point in the future.
It comes after McDonald's announced a new summer menu earlier this month with 12 tasty new additions including a fan favourite previously dubbed the 'best burger ever'.
Launching in McDonald's restaurants across the UK, the new menu is set to feature the Biscoff McFlurry and Frappe, a spicy burger as well as a Pokemon Happy Meals for the kids.
The ultra-popular Steakhouse Stack burger will make its much-anticipated return but it will set you back a little more than before.
It features two juicy 100 per cent British and Irish beef patties, with cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onion, lettuce, and a savoury black peppercorn sauce served in a toasted sesame bun and will only be available for a limited time.
Originally launched in March 2023, it's been in and out of restaurants and instantly proved a huge hit with fast food fans.
The fast food giant last relaunched the much-loved Steakhouse Stack in January 2024 for £5.39, however, now fans will have to fork out £5.99 for the burger alone.
After the beloved burger was added to McDonald's menu last year, it created a buzz among customers.
One user took to X, formerly known as Twitter: 'Whoever Ronald McDonald employed to invent the steakhouse stack deserves the world'.
Another keen foodie said: 'The steakhouse stack was the best burger they've done in a long time'.
A different user went as far as claiming: 'The steakhouse stack is the best burger on the McDonald's menu and nothing will convince me otherwise '.
Another unlikely McDonald's fan agreed: 'The Steakhouse Stack from Maccies may just be the best burger I've ever consumed from that cesspit of a place wow'.
More took to the social media platform to express their love for the burger: 'McDonald's steakhouse stack...Jesus that's the best burger they've ever produced'.
'Steakhouse stack did not disappoint though' and 'Ngl the McDonald's Steakhouse Stack is very good'.
One even expressed: 'Petition to keep the Steakhouse Stack for good', about the limited-edition item.
But the Steakhouse Stack isn't the only exciting addition coming to McDonald's menus this summer.
As the weather warms up the refreshing Frozen Cherry Lemonade is sure to be a hit.
For £2.99 the icy beverage is a tangy frozen lemonade with a deliciously sweet cherry-flavoured swirl.
Sweet-toothed diners will be delighted by the return of the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry and Frappe.
The McFlurry, available in regular and mini sizes has crunchy Biscoff biscuit crumbs swirled into the soft serve.
The Frappe has a vanilla flavour base, blended with ice and Biscoff biscuit crumb which is then topped with caramel-flavoured cream and a Biscoff crumb dusting.
Customers who can handle the heat will want to try the McSpicy X Frank's RedHot burger with chicken breast in a hot and crispy coating, lettuce, cheese, jalapeños, slivered onions, and Frank's RedHot® Mayo all in a toasted sesame seed bun.
For those who only want a taste of spice, the Frank's RedHot Mayo is perfect to dip a chip in and will be available separately exclusively in UK McDonald's locations.
A new limited-edition Happy Meal will soon feature one of eight Dragon-Type Pokémon toys or one of two Little People Big Dreams books, 'I Can Make Amazing Music' or 'I Can Be a Wonderful Artist'.
The special Happy Meal toys will be available from May 7 until June 17 so you better be quick.
The limited-time Katsu Chicken One wrap with crispy or grilled chicken, coated in flavourful katsu sauce, onions, cucumber, and lettuce in a toasted tortilla is staying on the menu - and diners can get it for only £1.99 on Wednesdays.
Also remaining available to order are the Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers that come in a four-piece or Sharebox.

The spark to reinvigorate Man Utd? How Cunha fits Amorim's plans
A humbling Europa League final defeat. A historically dreadful Premier League campaign. A still-new head coach who isn't afraid to point out publicly how low Manchester United have would be fair to say one of the world's biggest clubs is broken and on its summer's transfer window is one of the most important in United they are to avoid another failed reboot, they can't afford any mistakes. They must give Ruben Amorim the best resources possible to succeed in the 3-4-3/3-5-2 system he is adamant about where do you start?Well, you could do worse than sign Matheus Cunha, Wolverhampton Wanderers' best player of the season just need to address the goalscoring issues that date back to Erik ten Hag's the past season, United outscored only four Premier League teams - the bottom three and Everton. The season before that, they were the joint-lowest scorers in the top half of the goalscoring is one thing Cunha will bring to Old Trafford - with 40 goal involvements in the past two seasons - he also directly addresses other problems United have. Goalscoring and creativity It will help Amorim that Cunha has played in a Wolves team that predominantly used a back three system both under Gary O'Neil and Vitor can see him slotting in United's front three, particularly getting minutes in the left-sided 10 position. The United shirt appears to have become a burden in recent years, with a number of players going on to flourish elsewhere - see Scott McTominay's dancing in Naples as an United fans can be encouraged by the fact Cunha welcomed the responsibility at Wolves for goalscoring and conjuring up chances seemingly from became talismanic at Wolves, helping the club avoid the drop twice - with many significant for instance, the first of Cunha's two goals in a 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest in April 2024. The Brazilian dribbled from the corner of the penalty area, sucked two Forest defenders in before rounding them and unleashing a shot into the top a chance where there wasn't one, with fearlessness. Manchester United's attack has become too pass it around the back three, before the wing-backs and midfielders are marked, leaving no choice but to go long to the the long pass is played up to Rasmus Hojlund, who isn't the best at holding the ball up, resulting in a don't have players capable of taking the ball and doing something with Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho - who is likely to leave - possess the quality to run and drive at defenders, with the ability to create a chance using their initiative in a rigid signing changes that. Ball-carrying ability Since Amorim's arrival, there haven't been many games where you could say his style of play has worked.A key reason for this is the lack of ball carriers in the Mainoo alone was enough under Ten Hag. He could take the ball on the half-turn from defence and drive up the pitch. But Mainoo found minutes hard to come by in need a player brave enough to get the ball from defence into attack and the stats indicate that could be former Atletico Madrid forward's ability to carry the ball often results in a chance created. But the important thing about the Brazilian's ball-carrying ability is how deep he likes to drop to get possession. That opens up possibilities for his new central midfield are frequently suffocated by the press, forcing them to pass it backwards to the back job of both of the number 10s on either side of the main striker is to drop deep for the ball and use their movement to drag an opposing defender out of can drop deep to receive the ball, wriggle free of challenges and dart into the creates space behind the defender who has been pulled out of Cunha showed at Wolves, after receiving the ball from defence. he can release an overlapping full-back wide to Cunha can pull wider to receive the ball, allowing other players to occupy the half-space to confuse the he is unperturbed by players attempting to get the ball from him, even when they hunt in packs. Those qualities will suit Amorim's style - as the danger is supposed to come from the movement of the full-backs, either out wide or underlapping. They can take advantage as Cunha attracts players towards December as Wolves defeated Manchester United 2-0, Cunha scored directly from a corner in a game where Amorim's side were completely was a cheeky goal, showing just what Cunha is capable flair, intelligence and ability to grab games by the scruff of the neck are qualities United's flat attack need he can be a fiery character similar to Wayne Rooney in his younger days, he could provide vital spark at Old Trafford.
