Roger Waters Is Back As Fans Can't Get Enough Of His (Former) Band's Masterpiece
Pink Floyd has never faded away on the charts, thanks primarily – but not exclusively – to one of the bestselling albums of all time. This week, the legendary band is once again found on the U.K. rankings. Decades after the group reshaped rock music, its most iconic release is climbing the ranks once more — alongside a newer take from one of its founding members.
While The Dark Side of the Moon continues to sell and stream well, Roger Waters celebrates his own chart wins with his reinterpretation of that same classic, The Dark Side of the Moon Redux.
This week, The Dark Side of the Moon Redux is back on four different rankings across the U.K., proving there's still major demand for any version of Pink Floyd's legendary album.
Among the four rankings it appears on this frame, The Dark Side of the Moon Redux climbs into the top 10 on half of them. It performs best on the Official Rock & Metal Albums list, where it rockets back to No. 4. The release also returns to the Official Vinyl Albums tally, coming in at No. 9.
The same release also makes it into the top 20 on two other U.K. rankings focused on purchases. The Dark Side of the Moon Redux settles at No. 17 on the Official Physical Albums chart and appears just behind that at No. 18 on the Official Album Sales roster.
While its current success is impressive, it's worth noting that The Dark Side of the Moon Redux has already reached the top of each of the four charts it returns to this week.
The set has now spent 13 frames somewhere on the Official Rock & Metal Albums ranking, seven periods on both the Official Album Sales and Official Physical Albums lists, and just three on the Official Vinyl Albums chart.
A super deluxe box set of The Dark Side of the Moon Redux dropped on March 14. The expanded edition includes the studio recording, live renditions of every track from Waters' October 2023 performances at the London Palladium, exclusive Blu-rays, a gold vinyl pressing, and even a track-by-track interview. All of that has clearly enticed collectors and superfans, many of whom are eager to experience every facet of the ambitious project.
Waters released The Dark Side of the Moon Redux in October 2023 to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the original album's release. While some fans and critics questioned the need for a solo reinterpretation, the numbers show there's still a huge appetite for his take.
This week, the original version of The Dark Side of the Moon is also present on four U.K. charts, as both editions have carved out meaningful space with listeners.

Elvis Presley's Graceland Opens Two New Exhibits
MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Last week, Graceland welcomed fans from around the world to Memphis for the annual Elvis Week celebration. As part of the festivities, Graceland debuted two new exhibits inside Elvis Presley's Memphis entertainment complex. Colonel Parker's World of Showbusiness shares the story of Elvis' legendary manager, Colonel Tom Parker. The exhibit traces his journey from his early years in Holland and work on the carnival circuit, through his time managing country stars like Eddy Arnold and Hank Snow, and ultimately to his defining role as the manager of Elvis Presley. Serving as Elvis' manager from 1955 until his death in 1977, Colonel Parker was a larger-than-life figure who played a crucial role in the direction and success of the King of Rock 'n' Roll's career. While he is hailed for turning Elvis into a global sensation, Colonel Parker remains a controversial figure in the Elvis world, as he faced significant criticism for his management approach and financial practices. The Colonel's story comes to life in the new exhibit through artifacts from his collection. See canes, hats, and pipes that defined the Colonel's look, along with items from his office and the colorful lab coats that he designed and wore on Elvis' movie sets. Exhibit highlights include his typewriter, awards, rare photographs from his office, and even the 1976 Cadillac Elvis gifted to him. Graceland in Red 1974 is the second exhibit to open at Graceland during Elvis Week 2025. When Elvis purchased the house in 1957, Elvis' mother Gladys' conservative style prevailed with the traditional blue and white décor that one sees when visiting Graceland today. However, in 1974, Graceland underwent dramatic redecoration with Elvis selecting rich colors, plush textures, and new statement pieces for his home. The living room was transformed into a French Provincial theme, featuring red velvet furniture, red satin draperies, oil lamps, mermaid tables, peacock-stained glass panels, and red shag carpet. The décor was bold and vibrant, reflecting Elvis' unique style – and a definite break from the conservative style of his mother. The red décor was in place until 1982, when the living room was reverted to the original blue and white aesthetic before Graceland opened to the public. The red furniture and décor went into warehouse storage. Pieces of the red furniture have been used in small displays at Graceland over the years, but this is the first time guests are able to see a full replica of how the living room looked in 1974. A highlight of the exhibit is the pair of oil lamps carefully restored by the Graceland team to their original condition. Each lamp features a gold-tone frame with a Greco-Roman-inspired figure at its center. Often called 'goddess rain lamps,' they were especially popular in the 1970s. Clear mineral oil flows along fine filaments, creating a shimmering rain effect around the statue. With built-in lighting and greenery at the base, the lamps added both illumination and a sense of luxury to the room's dramatic style. In addition to these two new exhibits, Graceland debuted the 90 for 90 Exhibit in January and refreshed the Elvis Dressed to Rock display in March. All exhibits are now open for touring throughout 2025. Tour tickets available at High-res images and additional press materials are available in the media-only link. AC/DC's Hit Songs Are All Rising Together
AC/DC claims four climbing hits on the U.K.'s Official Rock & Metal Singles chart this week — and they're all rising — led by 'Thunderstruck' at No. 4. UNITED KINGDOM - AUGUST 01: CAMDEN Photo of AC DC and Malcolm YOUNG and Cliff WILLIAMS and Bon SCOTT and Angus YOUNG and AC/DC and Phil RUDD, L-R: Malcolm Young, Bon Scott, Angus Young, Cliff Williams, Phil Rudd - posed, studio, group shot (Photo by Fin Costello/Redferns) Redferns Anytime a singer or band sees a hit song from years past rise on charts in any country, it's a reason to celebrate. So much of the music industry and the media around it is built upon generating excitement for what's brand new or what's coming soon. Only a relatively small number of acts have released at least one tune — if not several — that can still appear on charts years or decades after an initial promotional heyday. A very lucky few have seen multiple tunes score second lives or, in some cases, never disappear entirely. AC/DC is one such name. The Australian rock outfit is one of the bestselling of all time, but its commercial success isn't limited to the past. The band regularly appears on charts in a number of Western nations, both with popular albums and songs, and this frame is especially thrilling for both the group and its fans, as it seems that interest in everything AC/DC is growing in the United Kingdom. AC/DC has four songs on the charts in the U.K. this week. All of them appear on the Official Rock & Metal Singles tally, and somehow, each and every one of them climbs from where it sat just a few days ago. The group's biggest hit in the country at the moment is 'Thunderstruck,' which is often the case. That tune lifts to No. 4, up one spot. Also present on the U.K.'s ranking of the bestselling tracks that can be classified as any form of rock or metal are 'Back in Black,' 'Highway to Hell,' and 'You Shook Me All Night Long.' Each of those tunes lifts at least one spot, and they settle at Nos. 15, 22, and 33, respectively. Three of AC/DC's four current wins on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart have hit No. 1. Only 'You Shook Me All Night Long' missed out on the throne, and it didn't miss by much, as it stalled in the runner-up spot. It is also the AC/DC tune with the shortest lifespan of the four that are currently found on the tally, though the smash has still managed to live on the list for well over a decade. 'Thunderstruck,' 'Back in Black,' and 'Highway to Hell' have already passed 600 weeks on the ranking, and they add to those sums consistently. 'Back in Black,' 'Highway to Hell,' and 'You Shook Me All Night Long' are only present on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart, while 'Thunderstruck' is a bestseller on several other lists at the same time. That track dips on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales rankings, declining to Nos. 64 and 67, respectively.
