Oasis 2026 UK tour rumours have been leaked – here are the potential locations and dates for a massive second tour next year

Time Out17 hours ago
And just like that, tonight (August 12) marks the last UK reunion show of Oasis' initial run, before they return for two final concerts in London in September. Even after monumental shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh over the last month, British Oasis fans are already hungry for more.
Right now, there's a screenshot doing the rounds on social media that suggests the Gallagher brothers and co could be back for round two this time next year. Word on the street is that the brothers have been offered four huge shows at Knebworth House in 2026, which would mark the 30th anniversary of their two record-breaking concerts there back in 1996. Nothing is locked in at this point though, and the brothers are reportedly still weighing up their options.
A source told the Sun: 'The Oasis reunion hasn't just been concerts. You can see that it's been a cultural movement. Nothing comes close in recent history to Oasis's shows.
'It's a question of whether Noel and Liam want to draw a line in the sand and close the door on this chapter, knowing they captured the zeitgeist. Or do they strike it up again and keep the magic going? It's a difficult decision to make.'
Missed out on tickets this time round? Here's everything we know about the Oasis 2026 tour speculation.
When will Oasis go on tour in 2026?
According to the rumours, the 2026 UK tour would kick off on July 3 and go on until August 15.
Where will Oasis play in 2026?
If we're to believe the leak, the first night of the reunion tour 2.0 would be at St James' Park in Newcastle, followed by two shows at Glasgow's Hampden Park, then five at Manchester's Etihad Stadium. It would reportedly culminate in four momentous shows at Knebworth House, at which insiders say the brothers hope to take back the attendance record from Robbie Williams, who played to 375,000 people there in 2003.
The leak also shows dates across mainland Europe in June which include Milan, Madrid, Amsterdam and Paris.

Pep Guardiola reveals his DAUGHTER told him to shave off his moustache as Man City boss opens up on being 'overwhelmed' by Oasis reunion

Pep Guardiola certainly enjoyed his summer off - he was spotted belting out Oasis lyrics at Heaton Park and even experimented with some bold new facial hair. But the Manchester City boss is well and truly back to business now after his side's thumping 4-0 victory at Wolves in their opening game of the Premier League season at the weekend. The Spaniard was noticeably no-longer rocking the moustache he was sporting during the off-season at Molineux, and has now revealed he was forced to grow back his beard at the request of his daughter. Supporters noticed Guardiola's surprising new look when he was seen at the Monarka Clinic in Barcelona, and it's fair to say the experiment didn't quite come off for the legendary manager as fans compared his moustache to that of Ted Lasso. 'It's gone,' Guardiola told Men in Blazers this week, 'my daughter said it was horrible so I had to get it off.' Guardiola also spoke about his experience watching Oasis earlier this summer. The iconic band have embarked on a reunion tour titled Oasis Live '25 which has seen music-lovers across the country, and the world, clambering for tickets. Warring brothers Noel, 58, and Liam, 52, were seen embracing for the first time in more than 15 years at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in early July before rocking shows at Murrayfield, Wembley Stadium and Heaton Park, where they played to an audience consisting of a host of Man City players and, of course, Guardiola. The former Barcelona boss was spotted singing Don't Look Back in Anger word-for-word while donning a retro Man City shirt before heading backstage for photos with the men of the moment's children Donavan, Sonny, Anais, Gene, and Lennon. Gene, Liam's son, shared the snap to his Instagram, writing: 'Pic of the century, alright? now everyone els (sic) f*** off.' Pep described his evening at Oasis, during which Noel shouted him out on stage, as 'overwhelming'. 'It's the best band of the last 50 years after maybe The Beatles or something like that,' the 54-year-old claimed. 'In the UK they've been the best by far and (for them) to have this love for me and my family and how they've cared for me since I've arrived. 'Listen I want to confess something, the first day I arrived here at Man City 10 years ago, the first interview I did was with Noel. 'At the moment when the interview finished I said, "it's impossible this isn't going to go well" when the first interview is done by him. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a fantastic period.' And it certainly has been. Guardiola has won 18 trophies during his decade in Manchester, including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, two Community Shields, one Super Cup, one Club World Cup and one Champions League. But last season was something of a struggle for Pep's side, who went trophy-less and finished a surprising 13 points below league champions Liverpool in third place. They've strengthened this summer nevertheless with the signings of Marcus Bettinelli, Sverre Nypan, James Trafford, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Tijjani Reijnders in a bid to challenge for the title once again. And their league campaign got off to a promising start against Wolves at the weekend, with Erling Haaland (2), Reijnders and Cherki on the scoresheet in a 4-0 win. The Cityzens host Thomas Frank's Tottenham this weekend in their second fixture of the season.

Rarest Queen Elizabeth £1 coins enter circulation in major before major change

The Royal Mint has announced that the final batch of coins depicting the late Queen Elizabeth will enter circulation, as more King Charles coins are also released The last batch of rare coins depicting Queen Elizabeth are entering circulation in the UK today, the Royal Mint has announced. ‌ More than 23 million Queen coins are being released, with The Royal Mint saying the last of the Elizabeth II coins, dated 2022, are the rarest £1 coins in active circulation. The final release will coincide with 7.5million new King Charles £1 coins also entering circulation around the nation. ‌ The Queen's £1 coins will be the final ones bearing Elizabeth II's portrait to be released, as the Royal Mint begins the final stages of ushering in coins that feature the new monarch, King Charles. It comes after fears for the future of Buckingham Palace as William and Kate "make huge decision". ‌ READ MORE: Prince Harry's secret royal move speak volumes after 'peace talks' with top aides The Royal Mint said that the historic transition – with the dual release of almost 31million coins – represents a significant moment for UK coinage, as the nation witnesses the changeover from Britain's longest-reigning monarch to her son and heir on the £1 denomination. Rebecca Morgan, director of commemorative coin at the Royal Mint, said: "This release represents a pivotal moment in British coinage history. "As we release more of the King Charles III £1 coins into circulation alongside the final coins of Queen Elizabeth II, we're witnessing the physical representation of our monarchy's transition. This dual release creates an exceptional opportunity for both seasoned numismatists and those new to coin collecting." The Royal Mint is urging Britons to check their change over the coming weeks as the new coins will begin to appear in pockets and tills across the UK. ‌ Ms Morgan added: "Finding these new coins in your change could spark a rewarding hobby that connects you with the heritage, history and craftsmanship behind British currency." Since King Charles' coronation in 2023 and the subsequent introduction of his effigy on UK coinage, the 50p and £1 are the only denominations with Charles's portrait to have entered circulation so far. Nearly three million £1s with the King's effigy were released in August last year, with the coin featuring an intricate bee design on the reverse and are part of the Definitive collection, inspired by the flora and fauna of the British Isles. ‌ In total, there are around 24.7billion coins in circulation across the UK, with the King's coins representing only around 0.004 per cent of those, making his new coins highly desirable to collectors. All UK coins bearing the Queen's portrait will remain legal tender and in active circulation to allow a smooth transition and minimise the environmental impact and cost. The Royal Mint has made the circulating coinage for England of each of Britain's monarchs since Alfred the Great.
