Triple H believes Cardi B would be difficult to stop if she decides to step into a WWE ring.
Cardi B is set to host the first-ever two-night WWE SummerSlam this year, taking place on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. As a New York native, Cardi B is expected to draw major attention to the show, which is just weeks away.

During an interview with Billboard, Triple H discussed Cardi B's involvement at WWE SummerSlam. When asked about Cardi B's role at SummerSlam, and whether fans might see her get physical in the ring, Triple H explained that anything is possible.
Triple H comments on Cardi B's role at SummerSlam
'Well, let me answer the second part of it first. So can you see her … I don't know if anybody can control Cardi B, let me just start with that. So if she wants to, I think it's going to be hard to talk her out of it. And then what can we expect? Who the hell knows. The one thing I know about Cardi is, whatever she's going to do, is what she's going to do. And you're sort of kind of just hanging on to the tiger's tail a little bit there.'
'So she's a lot of fun to work with, has been so far with this. She's excited to do it. I think, as everybody knows, she's a big fan and has, you know, talked a lot about the business over the years and all that stuff and comments on it a lot. So when you work with people like that, it's exciting. We'll see, we'll see where that goes.'

'But we're thrilled to be working with her. You know, there's a lot of artists out there across so many different things now that are just, they're fans and looking to come in and do things with us, and we'll vet through them and try to figure out the ones that can do the most and be a positive for our fan base, and just help to expand the product out beyond the realm of just just wrestling fans, and get the rest of the world into what we're doing.'

Founding member of chart-topping ‘80s R&B group dies at 68

Wayne Lewis, founding member of the platinum-selling R&B group Atlantic Starr, has died. He was 68 years old. Lewis died on Thursday, June 5, according to a Facebook post from Atlantic Starr on Friday, June 6. 'It's with great sadness we have to post the passing of Wayne Lewis,' the post reads. 'Please keep the family in your prayers and respect there privacy.' A cause of death was not revealed. Born April 13, 1957, Lewis co-founded Atlantic Starr with his brothers David Lewis and Jonathan Lewis in 1976 in White Plains, New York, according to Billboard. Other early members of the group were Clifford Archer, Sharon Bryant, Porter Carroll Jr., Joseph Phillips, Damon Rentie and William Sudderth. Bryant and Rentie were later replaced by Barbara Weathers and Koran Daniels, respectively. The group initially scored several hits on the R&B charts — including 'Stand Up,' 'When Love Calls' and 'Send for Me' — before achieving crossover success. Atlantic Starr's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 was 1982's 'Circles,' which peaked at No. 38. The song also reached No. 2 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The group's biggest commercial success came in 1987 when 'Always' topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. 'My First Love' in 1989 was Atlantic Starr's only other No. 1 on the latter chart. Atlantic Starr earned a total of 11 top 10 songs on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and three top 10 hits on Billboard's Hot 100 charts in addition to a platinum album, gold album and gold single, according to the RIAA. WWE's Tiffany Stratton uncorks brutal first pitch at Mets game: ‘Giving 50 Cent a run'

It appears 50 Cent has some competition for worst first pitch at Citi Field. WWE women's world champion Tiffany Stratton threw out the first pitch ahead of Thursday's game between the Mets and Nationals — a 4-3 Amazin's win — when she hilariously sent the pitch sailing way past outfielder Jared Young, who was set to catch the ball behind the plate. Stratton put her arms over her head after the ball went toward the photographers and hit the backstop and Young had to go retrieve it before the WWE star walked off the mound. Advertisement She seemed to take the moment in stride, poking fun at herself on social media, comparing her throw to the one wild one 50 Cent threw in 2014. 'Giving 50 Cent a run for his money,' she wrote on X. Advertisement Tiffany Stratton throws out the first pitch before the Mets' 4-3 win over the Nationals on June 12, 2025. JASON SZENES/NY POST The throw joins a list of celebrity first pitches that missed their marks, with the Queens rapper's being one of the most infamous. Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen famously threw a first pitch right into the turf when she took the mound at Tropicana Field in Tampa ahead of a 2013 Rays game. Former NBA star John Wall nearly took out photographers when he threw out his first pitch during a Nationals game in 2011, but thankfully, former Nats pitcher Drew Storen managed to dive and snag the ball. JASON SZENES/NY POST And a ceremonial first pitch from UFC star Conor McGregor completely missed the mark when he appeared on the mound before a Cubs game in 2021. Stratton seemed to enjoy her time at Citi Field on Thursday as she sported a custom Mets jersey and blue Mets hat and captioned a pic from the game on her Instagram, 'Put me in @Mets.' The Mets did come away with the win on Thursday, but their ace, Kodai Senga, injured his hamstring during the game and is heading to the IL.

Post Malone on going country and what's next: 'I make what makes me happy'

Post Malone on going country and what's next: 'I make what makes me happy' Show Caption Hide Caption Travis Tritt talks Post Malone's passion for Country music on Opry 100 red carpet Travis Tritt talks Post Malone's passion for Country music on Opry 100 red carpet A crop of musicians has gone country recently, from Tate McRae's chart-topping collaboration with Morgan Wallen on "What I Want" to Beyoncé's Grammy album of the year winner "Cowboy Carter." But perhaps none has been more fully embraced by the genre's fans and surrounding industry than Post Malone. Already a musical chameleon – with No. 1 hits in hip-hop, pop and rock – Malone went all-in on country with his sixth album, "F-1 Trillion." The 2024 release topped both the all-genre Billboard 200 and Top Country charts, earned him a Coachella headlining spot and sparked his most ambitious tour yet, the Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll. "I want to make sure I do things with respect. I feel honored that everyone has been accepting and patient with me," Malone tells the Tennessean, part of the USA TODAY Network, in support of Sony's "For The Music" campaign. Post Malone setlist: All the songs he and Jelly Roll played on the Big Ass Stadium Tour Post Malone: Chart-topper and collaborator Malone has a long history of working well with others. Eleven of the 14 songs he's landed on Billboard's Top 10 were collaborations, including "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage in 2017, "Take What You Want" with Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott in 2019, and "Fortnight" with Taylor Swift in 2024. He's also partnered with brands including Bud Light, Crocs, Oreo and Doritos. In his campaign with Sony's For The Music, he's promoting products including noise-canceling headphones and wireless speakers, along with the idea that the combination of music, technology and creativity leads to a greater connection between fans and artists. "I've always just tried to make music that's true to who I am — no matter," Malone says. "I make what makes me happy. So to be part of something that celebrates artists for doing their own thing and pushing boundaries, that feels really special." What's next for Post Malone? Malone doesn't have plans to leave country music anytime soon. He revealed to Billboard in April he's already working on his seventh album and has made trips to Nashville to record. Acclaimed country guitarist Derek Wells, who has worked with Malone while recording and playing live, has high praise for Malone and teases what to expect on the upcoming project. Review: Post Malone fires up first stadium tour with trusty accomplice Jelly Roll "Performing country music is an entirely different discipline and requires an entirely different vocal delivery from working in pop," Wells says. "Moving away from having his voice saturated with vocal effects and treatments has him really working, especially onstage, to deliver a quality show every night. "There's also more fiddle, pedal steel, guitar solos. Where we started as two feet over the line into traditional country on 'F-1 Trillion' has turned into head, chest, shoulders and feet across the line on where we're headed with the next batch of songs."
