Kaizer Chiefs pre-season European tour dates CONFIRMED
Kaizer Chiefs are packing their clogs and heading to the Netherlands to pick some tulips. Here are all the details.
As you'll know by now, Chiefs are heading to the land of Dennis Bergkamp, Virgil van Dijk and Wesley Sneijder for their European pre-season tour adventure. The Glamour Boys jet out on 03 July and conclude the tour on 17 July. It should be a fun fortnight!
According to journalist Siya Gijana , Chiefs are taking a look at SuperSport United's Aphiwe Baliti. The 23-year-old played 15 league matches for Matsatsantsa last term and can also operate at right-back.

'And if you try and to get accommodation in Durban and Pietermaritzburg over the weekend, it's fully covered, booked, and that's exactly what we want.'

South African wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane reclaimed the French Open doubles title with Japanese partner Yui Kamiji in dramatic fashion at Roland Garros on Friday night. It was a fourth doubles Grand Slam title for the South African ace, who fell short of reaching the singles final in an earlier semi-final. Montjane and Kamiji faced the Chinese pairing of Xiaohui Li and Ziying Wang, the No 2 seeds, in the women's doubles final. They had to dig deep, fighting back from a set down to secure a 4-6 7-5 (10-7) victory. They reclaimed the trophy they lifted at Roland Garros in 2023. The duo also won the US Open title together in 2023, as well as the Wimbledon crown last year. Montjane and Kamiji beat top seeds Manami Tanaka of Japan and Zhenzhen Shu of China 6-1 6-4 to reach the decider. Earlier on Friday, in the men's quad doubles final, Donald Ramphadi of SA and Turkish partner Ahmet Kaplan lost 6-3 6-4 to Guy Sasson of Israel and Niels Vink of the Netherlands.

Bulls coach Jake White believes the team whose emotions are best in check will emerge triumphant in Saturday's massive United Rugby Championship semifinal between his side and huge local rivals the Sharks at Loftus Versfeld. While the Bulls have been the most consistent South African team in the URC, finishing second on the final round-robin standings, the Sharks are the star-studded squad with a dozen Springboks, just waiting to click and assert the dominance their playing roster suggests they should have. While the Sharks have played in fits and starts this season, they keep winning the tight matches and they showed enormous nerve to come back from 21-10 down with 15 minutes remaining in their quarterfinal against Munster to force the game into extra time and then win the kicking shoot-out that decided the outcome. The Bulls also had to show their endurance and spirit in coming back from a 21-8 deficit after a half-hour of their quarterfinal against Edinburgh in Pretoria. They ultimately won 42-33 and White said the resilience they showed will be crucial against the Sharks, but they also need to add accuracy to their effort.
