Deion Sanders Had Words After Shedeur's Second Day of Browns Camp
The Cleveland Browns' rookie minicamp started on Friday, and all eyes have been on the quarterback battle between Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.
Gabriel was the first quarterback drafted by Cleveland with the No. 94 overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft. After passing on Sanders earlier in the draft, the Browns added the former Colorado Buffaloes star to the QB room by selecting him with the No. 144 overall pick in the fifth round.

Observers have sounded off on everything about the rookies, from Gabriel's physical appearance to Sanders' off-field decisions. On Saturday, CU football coach Deion Sanders entered the conversation with some words for his son on Instagram.

Shortly after practice had wrapped up in Cleveland, Coach Prime shared two videos of his son completing impressive passes to his Browns teammates.
"Ok Young King," the 57-year-old wrote, tagging the accounts of Shedeur and the Browns to make sure they saw it.
In the third slide, Sanders added a screenshot of a post on X from NFL reporter Joe Schad, claiming that the Browns rookie had a "phenomenal day" in his second day of rookie minicamp.

The father-son duo is about to be separated for the first football season since 2017, when Deion started coaching Shedeur and his other sons Shilo Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr. at Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas.
The quarterback amassed a 36-15 record in college while being coached by his father for two seasons at Jackson State and two seasons at Colorado.
During his media availability, Shedeur said that seeing his dad's Hall of Fame NFL career — which included Super Bowl rings with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys — helped prepare him for the transition to the professional game. It also taught the 23-year-old how to deal with hate.
However, Sanders stated that his internal motivation is a bigger factor than trying to prove anyone else wrong.

"My job here isn't to prove people wrong," Sanders said. "It's to prove myself right."

Want to see Panthers play at home in the Stanley Cup Final? What Game 4 tickets will cost you
Fans celebrate following the Panther's second goal during the first period of Game 3 in the NHL Stanley Cup Final series at Amerant Bank Arena on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Sunrise, Fla. The Florida Panthers' first home game of the Stanley Cup Final was a memorable one. They blew out the Edmonton Oilers 6-1, playing a dominant all-around game in front of a sold-out Amerant Bank Arena crowd of 19,863 to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series. If you want to be at the arena to see them continue their path toward a championship repeat, time is running out — and you'll probably need to empty your wallet a little bit. Advertisement Game 4 on Thursday, an 8 p.m. start, is the only guaranteed home game left on the schedule with Florida two wins from winning the Stanley Cup. Game 5 is in Edmonton. Should the Oilers win either of the next two games, the Panthers would host Game 6 on June 17. The cheapest ticket available on the resale market for Game 4 as of Tuesday afternoon is $429 on SeatGeek. That will get you a seat in Section 329, in a corner of the arena on the side of the ice where the Panthers will shoot during the first and third periods. If you want to get closer to the action, most resale tickets in the lower bowl are going for over $1,000 each but there are a few available in the $750-$900 range. Through eight home playoff games, the Panthers have had an average announced attendance of 19,783 per game, which is at 102.8% capacity. The listed capacity crowd at Amerant Bank Arena for hockey games is 19,250.
