BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay has heaped praise on TV legend Noel Edmonds, describing the 76-year-old as 'absolutely jacked' and 'looking no older than 45.'
Speaking on his Radio 2 show, the 51-year-old couldn't hide his admiration for Edmonds following his appearance in Noel Edmonds' New Zealand Adventure.
The new ITV travel series is set against the breathtaking backdrop of New Zealand and follows the Deal or No Deal presenter as he sets up a new life after ending his 50-year TV career.
However, the show has received a mixed reaction from ITV viewers, with one calling it 'laughable for all the wrong reasons.'

Vernon, who watched the show alongside fellow presenter Paddy McGuinness for Gogglebox, hit back at the criticism and was clearly impressed by Edmonds' energy, positivity — and physique.
The dad-of-two said: 'Whatever you think of Noel Edmonds when he's talking about crystals and energies and positivity, whatever you think. Because I know what you'll think — you'll just stereotype and jump straight to conclusions.
"Bit bonkers. I don't care. Lay me under a crystal bed! Seriously, sort out my ions. Because Noel Edmonds looks absolutely fantastic.'
Describing Edmonds as 'fit as a fiddle,' the former model went on to marvel at his youthful appearance: '76 years old — doesn't look a day older than 45. He hasn't changed, not a chance.'
The Noel's House Party star moved to New Zealand in 2018 after buying land in the quiet town of Ngatimoti, where he and his wife Liz established a hospitality business called River Haven.

While many fans have been tuning in to see Edmonds' lifestyle and personal exploits, others have been more focused on his impressive muscular torso.
'Take a look at the guns on Noel Edmonds. He is absolutely jacked,' Kay exclaimed, adding that Edmonds' approach to wellness, happiness and mental health is something to be admired.
'It's all about happiness, positivity — we need more people like that in the world,' he said, urging listeners to watch the programme.
'Treat yourself. Noel Edmonds' New Zealand Adventure — I think it's on ITV1 and the ITV Hub. He looks fabulous. He really does.'
And if the message wasn't clear enough, Vernon had one last pitch for hesitant viewers: 'It starts with a shower scene... At first, we did what everyone's going to do — a bit of a laugh — but trust me, he looks great.'
All three episodes of Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure are available to watch on ITVX now.

BBC Strictly star Oti Mabuse shares mum's blunt three-word response to her wedding
BBC Strictly star Oti Mabuse shares mum's blunt three-word response to her wedding Oti Mabuse has opened up about her marriage to husband Marius Lepure - and how her mother was left fuming Former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has revealed details about her wedding to husband Marius Lepure, confessing that her mum was not initially pleased with their nuptials. During a discussion on Loose Women about the merits of long engagements, Oti shared insights into her own wedding. The ex-Strictly professional, who later became a judge on ITV's Dancing On Ice, tied the knot with fellow dancer Marius in an intimate ceremony in Denmark. The pair then headed straight to a dance competition post-wedding. However, Oti, now a mother to a one-year-old daughter, confessed that her mum was less than thrilled with their low-key celebration. This led to a second, much larger wedding with 500 guests - of whom the couple only knew four. Oti shared her wedding details on ITV's Loose Women (Image: ITV ) Upon hearing of her daughter's marriage, Oti's mum declared "it doesn't count! We weren't there, it was just the two of you. I didn't have my hat, my dress", and promptly set about organising another wedding, reports Edinburgh Live. Article continues below Oti, who participated in last year's I'm a Celebrity, added: "She planned all our wedding, she had a theme, she was like 'I need a purple wedding' so our wedding was white and purple. "She planned everything. The only thing my husband and I had to do was rock up with our own dresses. "The wedding had 500 people, we only knew four of them. It was my sisters and his brothers, that's all the people we knew - and the rest, it was my mother's wedding." The revelation arrives amid growing anticipation for the 2025 instalment of Strictly Come Dancing, with ongoing speculation about the potential line-up of contestants. Yet, as far as official announcements go, there will be a sense of continuity with confirmation that the judging panel and hosts remain unchanged for the upcoming series. Oti, Marius and their baby daughter (Image: Oti Mabuse Instagram ) The official BBC Strictly Come Dancing account has announced the panel for the new series, consisting of Anton Du Beke, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, and Oti Mabuse's sister, Motsi Mabuse. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, both recently recognised in the King's birthday honours, will continue their roles as presenters of the show. In a statement, the BBC shared its excitement: "We've been limbering-up and practicing our curtseys, ready for the new series of Strictly with our amazing judging panel, Shirley, Anton, Motsi and Craig and our incredible MBE's Tess and Claudia - Congratulations on your FAB-U-LOUS achievement!".
