Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock to reunite for new movie
The pair – who previously co-starred in 1994 action thriller 'Speed' and 2006 romance fantasy 'The Lake House' – are set to join forces for an unnamed romantic thriller for at Amazon MGM Studios.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot for the film – which is being penned by 'Jackie' scribe Noah Oppenheim – has been described as 'propulsive'.
Mark Gordon – who produced 'Speed' – will produce the movie with Reeves and Bibby Dunn via The Mark Gordon Company, along with Bullock for Fortis Films and Oppenheim and Sarah Bremner for Prologue Entertainment.
Just last year, Reeves and Bullock revealed they were keen to reunite on screen again.
During a joint interview on the '50 MPH' podcast, Keanu spoke about a possible 'Speed 3', saying: 'I mean, you know — we'd freakin' knock it out of the park.'
Sandra added: 'There's no formula. It just is. Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera. Are we, you know, in wheelchairs or with walkers? Maybe. Are we on little scooters at Disneyland?'
Keanu said: 'It does feel like there is a siren call to it, like there's something that wasn't done. I would love to work with you again before our eyes close.'
Speaking about 'Speed', he said: 'We had an affection. And the characters themselves have an affection. I think Jack and Annie's is different than Sandra's and Keanu's, but I think we played off each other and I think it was just fun. I think, also, we kind of trusted each other, right?'
Sandra replied: 'Yeah. I mean, people have full-blown affairs in movies, and you don't feel something between them. And then people can hate each other in movies and you go, 'That was electric,' you know? We didn't really look at each other in this movie except for maybe three or four times, because we were constantly battling the elements. And I think that's what made it so electric, too, is that, watching it, I guess you want them to connect. That was a really clever setup, to sort of keep people apart. Foreplay, I guess.'

Jeff Bezos mourns mom
Jeff Bezos' mom has died. The Amazon boss has paid tribute to Jackie Bezos, with whom he co-founded the Bezos Family Foundation, after she passed away at the age of 78 'after a long fight with Lewy body dementia.' Jeff wrote on his social media accounts on Thursday (14.08.25): "Her adulthood started a little bit early when she became my mom at the tender age of 17. That couldn't have been easy, but she made it all work. "She pounced on the job of loving me with ferocity, brought my amazing dad onto the team a few years later, and then added my sister and brother to her list of people to love, guard, and nourish. For the rest of her life, that list of people to love never stopped growing. She always gave so much more than she ever asked for. "After a long fight with Lewy Body Dementia, she passed away today, surrounded by so many of us who loved her — her kids, grandkids, and my dad. I know she felt our love in those final moments. We were all so lucky to be in her life. I hold her safe in my heart forever." Jeff, 61, touchingly ended his tribute to Jackie - who is also survived by husband Mike Bezos, her other children Christina and Mark, 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild - with a direct message to her. He wrote: "I love you, mom." Jeff's wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos was among those to comment on her spouse's post. She wrote: "We will miss her SO much. Love you [heart and broken heart emojis] (sic)" Katy Perry shared a broken heart emoji, while Sharon Stone posted: "My sincere condolences I just lost my mom too." Antonio Banderas offered condolences in a comment written in Spanish, which translated as: "My deepest sympathy to you. Much strength in these tough times.(sic)" Other stars to pay their respects in the comment section included Naomi Campbell, Miranda Kerr and designer Philipp Plein. The news was first announced by the Bezos Family Foundation, who remembered Jackie as a "devoted mother" who "always" put her kids first. They said in a statement: "She made countless trips to Radio Shack for Jeff, spent numerous hours supervising cheerleading practices with Christina, and hauled drums in the back of the family station wagon for Mark. "She dedicated her life to her family and poured her heart into raising her children with compassion, patience, and wisdom. "Jackie created a space where everyone felt safe, heard, and cared for. Whether offering a plate of food, a bit of advice or simply a listening ear, she had a remarkable way of making people feel like family. "To the countless people she touched throughout a remarkable life, Jacklyn Gise Bezos was a fierce advocate and supporter, filled with heart for others, and never accepting the status quo." In lieu of flowers, the foundation said the family asked people "to support a nonprofit organization that is meaningful to you or to perform a simple act of kindness in her memory.(sic)"

Lily James is too 'self-conscious' to use dating apps
Lily James feels too "self-conscious" to use dating apps. The 36-year-old Cinderella star plays Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd in new movie Swiped so Lily tried out the app using a friend's account just to get the hang of it, but she admits she wouldn't put a profile online in her search for love would be "counterintuitive" to her desire for privacy. In an interview with Who What Wear magazine, Lily was asked if she is currently single and she replied: "I would never tell." Lily went on to say: "I've never been on a dating app, personally. However, in research for the character, I went on my friend's Bumble account just to get a sense of the app that I'm pretending I created. "One of our producers, Jen Gibgot, met her partner on Bumble. My best friend met her husband on Bumble. You start talking and you realize, like, how many matches, how many babies. "That's the profound effect that these dating apps - Bumble in particular - have had. It's wild." However, Lily is adamant she won't be using any dating apps. She said: "I was always in relationships when the apps started. "Now, I just don't know. I feel a bit self-conscious … I try to stay really private, as private as I can. To be on a dating app feels a bit counterintuitive to that desire." However, Lily is adamant she just wants to enjoy her life now she's in her 30s. She added: "I sometimes read stuff where women are all: 'In my 30s, I suddenly didn't give a f***, and I had it all figured out'. "I'm like: 'Really?' I think the biggest change has been realizing that life is finite. I only want to do stuff that I really care about. "I want to spend time with the people I love. I want to make the most of this wild and crazy life, so I only want to work on stuff that I really love. That's changed." As well as upcoming movie Swiped, Lily will also be seen in a reboot of Sylvester Stallone's 1993 action movie Cliffhanger and she recently admitted she had the "had the time of [her] life" working on the film and she's thrown herself into the sport of climbing. She told The Hollywood Reporter: "Oh my God, I had the time of my life. It was so hard. I did five hours of climbing a day for many weeks. "I was on mountains nonstop. I fell completely in love with it. It's the most mind-body-soul activity. "And I'm a [mountain-climbing] addict now. I did all my own climbing [in the film], and I got real strong. I was just pounding press-ups between every take."
