The Indiana Fever are going to have to figure out how to win games without Caitlin Clark for a while.

She has been out of action with a strained quad for their last two games, both of which they lost. They also lost guards Sophie Cunningham and Sydney Colson in Friday's defeat at the hands of the Connecticut Sun, which has left them thin in the backcourt.
But Clark is still present despite her injury, and she was seen at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Game 6 of the NBA's Eastern Conference finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, along with Fever teammates Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull.
The Pacers have the opportunity to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals with a victory in this game. However, if they lose, the series returns to Madison Square Garden, and all signs would favor the Knicks taking Game 7 at that point.

Overall, the Fever have lost three games in a row and hold a disappointing 2-4 record. Their slide began with a 90-88 loss to the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty a week ago. In that game, they blew a sizable second-half lead, and Clark failed to shoot the potential game-winning 3-pointer.

Friday's loss against the Connecticut Sun was also frustrating for Indiana. They trailed throughout the second half and made a rally in the closing minutes, but they couldn't finish the job and fell by two points.
Boston, a two-time All-Star forward, is one woman who needs to step up in Clark's absence. Versus Connecticut, she shot 8-of-10 from the field and scored 17 points, to go along with eight assists.

SEATTLE — Colton Cowser homered in his first game since being activated from the 60-day injured list as the Baltimore Orioles beat the Seattle Mariners 5-1 on Tuesday night. Cowser, who hadn't played in a major league game since March 30 due to a broken left thumb, cranked a solo shot to left field in the sixth inning for his second home run . It was Cowser's first home run since March 29, and came shortly after Mariners right-hander George Kirby (0-3) exited after taking a line drive off his face .

Knicks Facing Big Decisions After East Finals Loss to Pacers

Knicks Facing Big Decisions After East Finals Loss to Pacers originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The New York Knicks are still mourning their heartbreaking loss to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals. Advertisement The Knicks were merely two wins away from making their first appearance in the NBA Finals since 1999, but thanks to the Pacers, New York and its ever-loyal fanbase have been left ruing what could have been. This opens the door for what should be a very interesting offseason ahead for the Knicks. League insider Shams Charania provided a crucial update on the organization's plans following their season-ending loss to Indiana, and it is clear that the front office is going to be quite busy in the summer. "I'm told the Knicks have internal meetings this week to really evaluate everything from their coaches to their players and just see how they move forward to continue to compete for a championship in the Eastern Conference," Charania said. "... I do expect the Knicks to be aggressive to see--is there a move out there, a landmark move potentially, that takes this team over the top? Or do they just make moves around the edges for their bench?" New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (11), forward OG Anunoby (8) and center Karl-Anthony Towns (32)© John E. Sokolowski-Imagn Images Charania did not name any names, but based on his new report here, it appears that the Knicks are willing to—at the very least—consider potentially pulling the trigger on a major trade in the offseason that could see them break up their current core. Advertisement The renowned NBA guru then turned his attention to Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau, whose future with the team could also be decided this summer. Charania pointed out how much success the Knicks have had under Thibodeau over the past five seasons, which puts the veteran coach in a favorable position in terms of keeping his job. "It's been an impressive run for Tom Thibodeau," Charania continued. "I'm told he has the support, not only of Jalen Brunson, but also the front office. "So Tom Thibodeau has a lot going for him to potentially return as head coach." Whatever the case might be, what is clear is that the Knicks are facing some big decisions in the immediate future. The discussions within the team's brass this coming week should determine how this team will operate in the offseason--and beyond. Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull Catch Attention With New Video

Sophie Cunningham, Lexie Hull Catch Attention With New Video originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Are we seeing double? With Caitlin Clark sitting out during the Indiana Fever's most recent game against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, it was two other WNBA stars who stole the spotlight, at least on TikTok. Advertisement Fever guards Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull turned heads on social media after Hull posted a playful video to TikTok featuring the two players lip-syncing to the viral sound of Teresa and Nicole from the popular reality TV show "Real Housewives of New Jersey" saying, 'You're not seeing double, everybody loves us! You're seeing trouble!' The duo, often mistaken for twins thanks to their striking resemblance, long blonde hair, similar heights and their on-court chemistry, leaned into the joke, and fans were loving it. Fans went to the TikTok comment section to write how strongly similar the two look, as well as how gorgeous they are. Advertisement "The only way my husband can tell you apart is the length of hair, one fan wrote. "LOVE YOU BOTH!" "ok now they actually look like twins," wrote a fan who reposted the TikTok to X. "There goes the internet crash again, a fan commented on the TikTok video. "power overload in Indy!" "DOUBLE TROUBLE AND TRIPLE DOUBLES ALL DAY," one follower commented. A fan commented, "Double beautiful." "It's definitely double trouble, and everyone loves you guys," another fan said. Cunningham even joined the conversation, adding a "MY GIRLLLLLL" to the comment section two hours after the video was posted. One fan also mentioned that Hull has a twin sister, Lacie Hull, who also played for Stanford's Women's Basketball team. Even though Lacie Hull is now based in Austin, Texas, the sisters still seem to be close.
