Images circulating online show a minimal design with barely any detailing, aside from the iconic badge and
Adidas
logo — with some fans joking that 'Adidas aren't even trying anymore.'
One fan fumed on X: 'We need to ditch Adidas at the earliest opportunity.
"Ironically the 'bus seat' kit (which I hated) is the best of the bunch here.'
Another joked: 'Matches the quality of football at Old Trafford in recent years.'

The kit includes an Old Trafford-inspired sleeve graphic, marking the first time in many years that Manchester United has featured sleeve prints on their home shirts.
The words
'
Theatre of Dreams' are printed on the collar and the kit will be available at some point this month, with white shorts and black socks as the primary combination.
Some fans, however, aren't impressed by the design details, comparing it to previous seasons.
One commented: 'Pretty much a blend of the last two seasons' kits, very bland, Adidas are definitely running out of new kit ideas.'

Adidas, who signed a £900 million mega-deal with United in 2015 for 10 years, are now facing mounting pressure from fans to show more creativity and respect for the club's rich heritage.
One tongue-in-cheek post read: 'Next season they'll just hand us red vests and say it's 'retro'.'
'With you, I started to smile again' - Tearful Antony announces Real Betis exit
United have yet to officially unveil the kit but if the online backlash is anything to go by, they might want to head back to the drawing board.
United's poor performance on the pitch has left fans fuming.
They finished 15th in the league and lost the Europa League final to Tottenham, who hadn't won a trophy in 17 years.

In the CIES football observatory, Baleba is valued at up to £76million, though it is understood Brighton have no intention to sanction a sale for the rising star this summer, with Seagulls chief Paul Barber denying that an approach had been made at all. Barber said: "There is always going to be interest in our players. Manchester United have not been in touch with me, speculation is speculation. "Carlos is a fantastic talent and we hope he will be here for years to come. But it's subject to the dynamics of the football world, which is not always predictable." United are on the hunt for a dynamic midfielder to go in Ruben Amorim's 3-4-3 pivot after unconvincing displays by Manuel Ugarte in pre-season, with his display against Everton coming in fro particular scrutiny. Baleba was one of the Premier League's top ranked midfielders last season for tackles, blocks, interceptions and recoveries, while his progressive carries and forward passing numbers were also impressive. And such is the fervour for United to sign Baleba - who exclusively told SunSport about his ambition to win the Ballon d'Or - that the thought of getting the deal over the line has seen some of the Red Devils faithful make some stunning promises. Advertisement BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK One excited fan declared: "If we sign Baleba then I'm calling my first born child INEOS." A second said: "Throw the f***ing bank at him. Incur a lifetime transfer ban. Pull every credit facility necessary. I can win the Ballon D'or says Brighton's Carlos Baleba "Include the new stadium naming rights in the deal. Another said: "Get Baleba and it's the best window since 2007." A fifth said: "Bro what the f*** were we gonna do if we got UCL???????" A sixth said: "Nah the way United fans manifested this Baleba [move] through pure faith and blind optimism We are massive man." Baleba made his international debut for Cameroon last year and has played in seven games for the Indomitable Lions so far. And his high ambitions of winning football's ultimate individual prize is sure to go down well with Man Utd fans and transfer chiefs as they look to bring the club back to its former glory. He told SunSport in an exclusive interview: "Declan Rice, Matheus Cunha, Joelinton, they've all told me I've got it in me. I want to win the Ballon d'Or like Rodri. Advertisement "I watched him during the Euros and before his injury I played against him and time I got the ball, he was right in front of me. 'It was my first game against Manchester City, and it was very difficult. He made it so hard to dribble or pass. That showed his class. 9 'His success has opened the door for midfielders like us to believe we can win the Ballon d'Or someday... I can get to the very top of world football. Advertisement 'But I need to stay focused, stay calm, not rush, and not let what people write get in my head. If I keep working hard, I can be like Luka Modric or Toni Kroos, I just need to stay grounded." Baleba's journey to football stardom is nothing short of remarkable. He tragically lost his mother three years ago just as he got his breakthrough European move to French side Lille. But he explained the pain of his loss drives him forwards to be the best version of himself. Baleba continued: "It was very difficult for me because I didn't see my mum. I wanted her next to me, but when I signed for Brighton, she wasn't here. Advertisement 'That's why the first season was really hard. I thought about her a lot. But I vowed that I would be the best version of myself and go as far as I can in my career." His English is still a work in progress, but he's proud of the steps he has taken to settle in, even if the British weather isn't always his cup of tea. He added: "I love it here, to be honest. My favourite English food is the English breakfast, if I'm allowed to say that! But the weather is the only issue, it changes all the time." 9 Advertisement TRANSFER NEWS LIVE - KEEP UP WITH ALL THE LATEST FROM A BUSY SUMMER WINDOW

Shelbourne in pole position after shocking Rijeka in Croatia
EUROPA LEAGUE THIRD ROUND, FIRST LEG RIJEKA 1 (Niko Janković pen 56) SHELBOURNE 2 (Sam Bone 58, John Martin 70) Away wins in the Europa League are a rarity for Irish teams but this comeback victory puts Shelbourne on the brink of the lucrative league phase worth €3.8m. It's only the midway point of the tie against a classy Rijeka side but instead of having to beat either Linfield or Vikingur Gøta in a playoff for a berth in the Conference League, avoiding defeat at home next Tuesday before a sold-out Tolka Park would guarantee that spot. Shels boss Joey O'Brien highlighted the league's poor record on foreign soil but a dramatic turnaround trumped that to gild the club's return to Europe following an 18-month drought. Shamrock Rovers were the last team to win a Europa League fixture away from home and that two-leg victory over the Macedonian side secured their passage to the next stage of the Conference League. It changed from the group to league phase last year and once Shels hold the visitors in the return, they'll have six more games in the Autumn to relish. Things looked ominous for the League of Ireland champions when the Croatians struck first in a tight contest by Niko Janković converting a penalty but all that breakthrough in the 56th minute did was instigate a swift revival for the Reds. Defender Sam Bone equalised within two minutes by nodding in a rehearsed corner and another header, this time a bullet version by Waterford native John Martin, made it 2-1 with 20 minutes left. Bone was again in the thick of it in stoppage time but at this other end when a struck his arm. Spanish referee Ricardo de Burgos consulted with VAR but blew for full-time instead of for a penalty, much to the relief of the Shels contingent. More to follow….

Shelbourne shock Rijeka on the road in Europa League
Second-half goals from Sam Bone and John Martin saw Shelbourne come from behind and defeat Croatian champions Rijeka 2-1 away from the home in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round meeting at the Stadion HNK Rijeka. Joey O'Brien and his players are now 90 minutes away from securing league phase football through the autumn and winter, going into the return fixture at Tolka Park. The Reds had to do it the hard way, against a side that were downed in extra time by Bulgarian heavyweights Ludogorets Razgrad last week in the Champions League. Rijeka were determined to build on this and Shelbourne responded by sitting tight in a conventional 4-4-2 that had Kerr McInroy doing the running between the forward line and midfield. Wessel Speel was the hero on the night through all of this as the goalkeeper made a number of big saves. This began with Amer Gojak in the in the 22nd minute when a low shot from the former Bosnia and Herzegovina international was stopped by the Minnesota United loanee. Niko Jankovic followed that up after getting around Milan Mbeng and his effort was easily caught at the near post. The midfielder got into a similar position at the end of the half and this time Speel dived low to deny the midfielder. O'Brien used half-time to reset and out of this moment of reflection came a change to the forwards, with Daniel Kelly replacing Mipo Udobeko. As everything settled down after the restart, Merveil Ndockyt was fouled inside the area by Speel and the resulting penalty was fired in by Jankovic in the 56th minute. Shelbourne equalised just 90 seconds later through a McInroy corner that was knocked on for Martin to turn in. Justas Lasickas retaliated for Rijeka and his right footed strike from the edge of the area was punched out by Speel, but the resulting set-piece came to nothing. The Reds brushed off this incursion and pushed up the right flank, where Mbeng found an overlapping Harry Wood. The midfielder crossed for Martin to head in at the far post and Shelbourne led 2-1 in the 70th minute. Everything slowed down after that as the game turned into a war of attrition. Shelbourne buckled down to navigate this spell as Rijeka pushed for an equaliser, a quest that intensified through three minutes of added time. It came down to a penalty appeal in the dying seconds, with the home side protesting about a supposed Bone handball, but the referee waved this away.
