Lady Gaga will guest star in the hit Netflix TV series Wednesday.
The Poker Face singer, 39, will feature in season two, part two, of the hit show about Wednesday Addams of The Addams Family, to play Rosaline Rotwood, a teacher at Nevermore Academy.
The announcement was made at Netflix's Tudum 2025 event, followed by the release of a six-minute trailer for season two.
The singer, who performed a series of songs at the event, including Zombieboy and Abracadabra, later posted a photograph on Instagram featuring Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday Addams, with the caption "#DEAD, love u lady".
The series follows Ortega, who plays the morbid character Wednesday, as she navigates life at the mysterious private school which "nurtures outcasts, freaks and monsters".
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, is known for her hit albums The Fame and Born This Way, and for her film credits, including starring alongside Bradley Cooper in the romantic musical A Star Is Born, which took the 2019 Bafta for Original Music and 2018 Oscar for Original Song.
In 2021 the singer starred as Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott's House Of Gucci, and most recently played Lee Quinzel alongside Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie A Deux.
The season two cast also includes Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, who will reprise her role as Morticia Addams, and Billie Piper, who joins the series to play Isadora Capri, the new head of music at Nevermore.

The series propelled Ortega into the spotlight, landing her an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination, and has been listed by the streaming giant as its most popular show, ahead of Stranger Things and Adolescence.
The American actress, 22, has also appeared in the Netflix series You and Disney Channel show Stuck In The Middle, and since Wednesday was first released has also been in the 2024 Beetlejuice sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and 2025 dark fantasy film Death Of A Unicorn.
Created by cartoonist Charles Addams, the macabre family have inspired a 1960s' TV show, and 1990s' films starring Anjelica Huston and Christina Ricci, who also appears in Wednesday as a teacher.

Wednesday season two, part one, is released on August 6, and part two is scheduled to air on September 3.

Netflix star left in agony with broken leg after terrifying bike accident
NETFLIX and Skins star Sebastian de Souza has shared photos from his hospital bed after getting into a serious bike accident. The 32-year-old actor – who has appeared in The Life List, Medici, Normal People and The Great – posted his update via his Instagram account. 7 7 Despite the nasty injury, breaking his leg, Sebastian made light of the situation, posing in his bed and later down the pub with a pint, while still in his medical gown. He wrote: 'New Hair! New Normal! Dear Souzles, forgive the radio silence! Three weeks ago I broke my leg falling off my bike.' He credited 'very very kind people' who helped get him to St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, as well as the team who looked after him once at A&E. 'You know who you are and I will never be able to repay you,' he commented. Praising the 'extraordinary team', he said: 'the gorgeous paramedics, doctors, nurses, domestic and administrative staff, all of whom made me feel so welcome and comfortable and safe. 'As it turned out, I had a tibial plateau fracture (more commonly known as bike leg) and needed an operation.' 'St Mary's is one of the best trauma centres on planet earth and so, naturally, there were lots of poor people with injuries far graver than mine queuing up for operations that needed doing quickly, which meant my mangled knee would have to wait a little bit before getting patched up,' he continued. 'And so it was that I ended up spending the most wonderful, inspiring, insightful, love-filled fortnight on St Mary's Valentine Ellis and Zachary Cope wards, waiting for my surgery!' Sebastian noted: 'I have never been treated with such kindness, care, respect, sensitivity and love, nor have I ever seen such professionalism and compassion shown so consistently by anyone to everyone, ever.' 'Thank God for @nhsengland @nhsenglandldn,' he said. 'As far as I'm concerned the NHS is the greatest institution ever invented and should be supported, protected and celebrated at all costs. More info Chloe Pirrie, the Scottish actress recognised for her roles in The Queen's Gambit and The Crown, is relishing working back in Edinburgh where she's been filming for the past six months for Netflix's new detective series, Dept. Q. Playing the character of solicitor Merritt Lingard and working along a stellar cast with Matthew Goode at the helm, she joins fellow Scots Jamie Sives, Mark Bonnar and Shirley Henderson. This homecoming project, led by Scott Frank who previously worked with Pirrie on The Queen's Gambit, has brought her not only to familiar grounds but also allowed for a reunion with Kelly Macdonald, with whom she starred in The Victim. Reflecting on being back in her hometown, Pirrie shared how meaningful it was saying: "I've got family there that I hadn't seen for a while so it was great to be able to spend time with them. A family member came to set - I've never had that before. That kind of stuff is really special." (Image: PA) Her journey into acting took off from her school days at Mary Erskine School, where after playing Anja in 'The Cherry Orchard', she began considering acting as a serious career path, reports the Express. Her acting journey began with a role in the Royal National Theatre's 2010 production of Men Should Weep, followed by appearances in the short film Solstice and the television soap Doctors. Her breakthrough came in 2012 with the Scottish film Shell, which earned her the Most Promising Newcomer award at the 2013 British Independent Film Awards.
