unilda Hoyos Mendez, popularly known as Amy Muscle was a Colombian bodybuilding athlete who was recently found dead at her luxury residence in Spain's Costa del Sol on Thursday.
The 43-year-old champion was found beaten to death with a hammer alongside her 46-year-old husband who had self-inflicted wounds. Her husband Jarrod Gelling's body was found in a bathroom.
Zunilda had been missing since Saturday, after flying to the Costa del Sol from Dubai where she had been living for much of the time with her husband, a Colombian-American. While less is known about Gelling, he was reportedly recovering from a knee injury and had accompanied Zunilda on her trip.
While an autopsy of Mendez is underway, the police believe that she died from repeated blows to the head. According to the family of the bodybuilder dubbed as 'She Hulk', Amy had been enduring abuse from her husband for the past year and was planning to divorce him.
Her niece Yuleydis told a Malaga-based newspaper Sur, that her aunt was going to help Gelling following a knee operation before travelling to Portugal to compete and going back to Colombia alone after the divorce.

"For my aunt, it was the last trip, a goodbye. She had taken the decision to split from her husband because of his aggressive behaviour. They had broken up already once and were apart for quite a while but then got back together again to try to resolve things, although the mistreatment continued," revealed the niece.
According to a statement given by a National Police spokesman in Malaga, Amy's body showed "obvious signs of violence and that of the man's signs indicating a suicide-type death which is something an autopsy will have to confirm."
The suspected killer is believed to have Colombian and US nationality.

While the investigations continue, according to the statements of Amy's family and her niece, it seems the couple who had been married for four years were having some marital troubles.
Amy and her husband both were bodybuilders, but she was an acclaimed bodybuilding champion who had several titles under her belt. Additionally, she was also an online fitness influencer with over 100,000 subscribers on various platforms.
The Spanish police suspect Gelling who had the same nationality as the suspect to be the one who killed the fitness champion before taking his own life.
The entire incident could be defined as a cause of ROID rage. ROID rage is a term that is used to describe anger and aggressive behaviour associated with anabolic steroid use. Considering the way Amy was murdered with a hammer, her body having signs of abuse, her family reporting her husband's abuse, and the police suspecting her husband to be the killer, the entire incident could be studied with the angle of ROID rage. However, there's no official confirmation on this.

Sebi bans two from markets for 3 yrs; impounds illegal gains of ₹4.83 cr
Markets regulator Sebi has barred two individuals from the securities markets for three years and impounded illegal gains of over Rs 4.83 crore made by them for orchestrating a fraudulent scheme using out of the money (OTM) stock options to misappropriate funds from investors. Apart from the securities market ban, the regulator also slapped a penalty of Rs 25 lakh each on Shivprasad Pattiya and Alkesh Narware and directed them them to pay the fine within 45 days, Sebi said in the order passed on Friday. Further, Sebi directed Pattiya and Narware to disgorge unlawful gains worth Rs 4.83 crore with an interest of 12 per cent per annum jointly and severally from February 2022. In the final order, Sebi found that the front entities had opened the trading accounts under the instructions of the operator group (Shivprasad Pattiya and Alkesh Narware) and these trading accounts and bank accounts were under the control of the operator group. Sebi observed that the caller group had identified prospective investors (complainants) which had credit balance in their ledger and obtained their credentials in the name of Algo/software trades and the same were also under the control of the Shivprasad Pattiya and Alkesh Narware. The trades executed through the mobile in the accounts of the complainants and the front entities were also under the control of the Pattiya and Narware, Sebi said. Retired man loses 2.4cr to insurance cyber scam
Mumbai: A 65-year-old retired man from Shivaji Park was cheated online by fraudsters impersonating as officials of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), NSDL, NPCI, and leading banks. Under the pretext of helping him recover his lapsed insurance policy, they duped him of Rs 2.36 crore. According to the police, a retired professional's ordeal began on Nov 5, 2024, when the man received a WhatsApp voice call from a man identifying himself as Dinesh Chaturvedi, an employee of IRDA. The caller claimed he could help recover premium amounts from seven of the victim's lapsed insurance policies. The caller also produced a company ID card which was fake. The complainant was then instructed to share his policy details via email after which he was told to pay Rs 49,606 as processing fee. Convinced that he would receive Rs 24.8 lakh refund, he transferred the money to a bank account shared by the scammers. Soon after, he was told to pay tax of Rs 6 lakh initially—which he paid.
