The Netherlands batted first in the second Super Over and posted 17. But again, it was not enough and the drama continued as Dipendra Singh Airee hit Kyle Klein's last ball over the ropes to take the match to an unprecedented third one-over shootout.
Dutch off-spinning all-rounder Zach Lion-Cachet then finished Nepal's over early with two wickets in four balls, without conceding a run.

Just a single was required for the Dutch to win the match in the third Super Over but Levitt finished a remarkable contest in style as he thumped the first ball of Sandeep Lamichhane's over for six.

Keymer maintains his perfect record; Arjun and Vidit register creditable wins

German precision was at work on day three of the Quantbox Chennai Grandmasters chess tournament on Saturday as Vincent Keymer continued his winning run, outclassing India's Karthikeyan Murali to lead the standings. The 20-year-old Keymer with three points is followed closely by top seed Arjun Erigaisi, who vanquished American GM Ray Robson in a 46-move game. World junior champion V. Pranav (Elo 2597) shared the point with seasoned Dutch GM Anish Giri (2748) in the only drawn game of the round. Vidit Gujrathi trumped Nihal Sarin in an exciting all-Indian battle in 61 moves. Nihal, the younger of the two, slipped up after holding the advantage and allowed his opponent to post his maiden win here. In the Keymer-Karthikeyan match, the German GM, playing with white pieces, gained ascendancy in a Sicilian Defence game by castling to the long side before launching an attack down the h-flank. Keymer later said it was an intuitive move and added, 'It just came to my mind. I thought that maybe it's something I had seen, but it is a very dark memory, if there was any. The idea is that I generally would like to go Queen to g3 at some point.' Keymer runs into Anish in the next round while Arjun gets to tackle Nihal. Arjun wore down Robson after gaining an advantage on the clock and mounted pressure down the middle which left the American with no hope. In the Challengers section, Abhimanyu Puranik and M. Pranesh are in the lead with wins over G.B. Harshavardhan and Pa. Iniyan respectively. In another match, Leon Luke Mendonca overcame the challenge of R. Vaishali while D. Harika drew with B. Adhiban. The results (third round): Masters: Vincent Keymer (Ger, 3) bt Karthikeyan Murali (1), Anish Giri (Ned, 1.5) drew with V. Pranav (1), Vidit Gujrathi (1.5) bt Nihal Sarin (0.5), Arjun Erigaisi (2.5) bt Ray Robson (USA, 1.5), Awonder Liang (USA, 1.5) bt Jorden van Foreest (Ned, 1). Challengers: Abhimanyu Puranik (2.5) bt G. B. Harshavardhan (0.5), R. Vaishali (1) lost to Leon Luke Mendonca (2), D. Harika (0.5) drew with B. Adhiban (1.5), M. Pranesh (2.5) bt Pa. Iniyan (1.5), Aryan Chopra (1) drew with Dipatyan Ghosh (2). Fourth round pairings:Masters: Karthikeyan vs. van Foreest, Robson vs. Liang, Nihal vs. Arjun, Pranav vs. Vidit, Keymer vs. Giri. " Woakes Hai Kya Tu?": Shreyas Iyer Takes Hilarious Dig At England Pacer In Video With PBKS Teammate

Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer was recently seen enjoying a game of indoor cricket at his apartment alongside his 2025 IPL teammate Shashank Singh. The duo engaged in round two of light-hearted Super Over challenge, with Iyer needing to survive 6 balls against Shashank's bowling. IPL 2025 was a memorable season for the Kings as they made it to the Playoffs and the final after a hiatus of 11 years. However, they lost against Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six runs in the summit clash. In the video posted on Instagram, the friendly contest began with Shashank briefing his skipper on the field setup. The conversation between the duo went on as follows: Shashank: "Yeh bhi out nahin hai?" (This is not out either?) Shreyas: "Sirf appreciate kar, six hai yeh. (Juat appreciate, it's a six.) Shashank then warned him:"Ab aayega short ball." (The short ball is up next.) Iyer humorously asked Shashank, "Woakes hai kya tu?" (Are you Woakes), when he mentioned about bowling a short ball. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Punjab Kings (@punjabkingsipl) For the unversed, England pacer Chris Woakes troubled India batters with his short deliveries in the recently-concluded five-match Test series. The Punjab kings franchise shared the entertaining video on Instagram, showcasing the fun bonding session between the two teammates. Talking about Iyer, the ignored India star is reportedly set to make a comeback in the international team from the Asia Cup 2025, which will kick-start from September 9. Shreyas Iyer was India's top-scorer in the Champions Trophy (243 in 5 matches) win. Though, the Punjab Kings captain has represented India in all formats, currently he only plays in ODIs. "We need Iyer's class and experience in the middle order in all formats. It's something which we missed in England during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. The selectors are aware that Iyer is an excellent player of spin bowling, which will be crucial in a home season that involves four Tests - two each against West Indies and South Africa," sources told TOI.
