Georgia May Foote's split with X Factor husband just two years after wedding

Inside Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote's two year marriage to musician Kris Evans, as reports claim the couple are 'heading for divorce' as Georgia ditches wedding ring
Former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote has sparked split rumours with her husband Kris Evans after she wiped all traces of him from her social media and ditched her wedding ring.
Best known for her role as Katy Armstrong on Coronation Street and as a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, Georgia seemed to have found her happy ending when she tied the knot with musician Kris in 2023.

But, only two years later, it appears their marriage may be on the rocks, with reports claiming the couple are 'heading for divorce'. A source told The Sun: 'Georgia's marriage to Kris seems to be over. It's on the rocks.'

Georgia and Kris have kept their relationship relatively private, with the pair occasionally posting glimpses of cosy date nights, countryside walks, and loved-up selfies. However, Georgia has reportedly removed her wedding ring and wiped all traces of the musician from her social media, including their loved-up snaps from their wedding day.
In 2023, the couple exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony surrounded by close family and friends following their engagement in December 2021. Kris, who rose to fame as part of boyband The Mend on Britain's Got Talent, proposed the day before New Years Eve in 2021 on a beach.
The couple had been dating for three years before getting engaged, and to announce their engagement, Georgia wrote on Instagram at the time: "30/12/2021 Mrs Evans to be. Of course I am still crying. @krisevansmusic I love you beyond words and I am honoured you have chosen me."
Following a lavish hen-do with her friends in Manchester, Georgia shared a sweet tribute to her husband-to-be at the time, labelling him her 'best friend' and saying that she never thought she would find someone like him.

She wrote online: 'I am about to marry my best friend. The person who makes me a better person. Didn't think I would find someone who would love me for me but I did it.
"Thanks to all my people who showed up for me this weekend. I had a ball, and I'm forever grateful to you all for loving me for me too. Here is to the last month of being a Foote', she added.
Georgia's romantic life has often captured headlines, and she previously dated professional dancer Giovanni Pernice after the duo met while competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
The duo's on-screen chemistry soon turned into a real-life romance, with the pair dating for nine months and even setting up a home together in London before calling time on their relationship in August 2016.

BBC calls in police to investigate Strictly Come Dancing

BBC calls in police to investigate Strictly Come Dancing There is also an investigation being led by a team of lawyers The scandal-hit show was also the subject of a review in 2024 The BBC has asked the police to investigate Strictly Come Dancing amid fresh allegations, according to reports, after claims two of its stars used cocaine. The Sun On Sunday reported that the corporation has alerted the Metropolitan Police to new allegations about the hit dance competition show, the details of which it does not specify. ‌ A BBC spokesperson said on Saturday the corporation does not comment on police investigations. It comes after reports in The Sun earlier this month alleged two Strictly cast members' drug use was discussed on the BBC dancing show, and said that the corporation had appointed law firm Pinsent Masons to lead the investigation. ‌ The scandal-hit show was also the subject of a review in 2024, when the BBC looked into allegations of bullying and harassment against former professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, made by his former dance partner Amanda Abbington. The corporation upheld some, but not all, of the complaints made – and introduced a series of new measures aimed at improving welfare. ‌ This included the introduction of a chaperone who is present 'at all times' during training room rehearsals. EastEnders star James Borthwick was also suspended from the BBC after a video emerged of the actor using a disabled slur on the set of the dance programme. The cocaine use allegations were reportedly made in a legal submission by law firm Russells in March on behalf of former contestant Wynne Evans, who was dropped by the BBC after apologising for using 'inappropriate language' during the launch of the Strictly tour. Article continues below It is understood that the BBC often appoints external law firms to help it lead investigations. The BBC spokesperson previously said: 'We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. 'We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further.' The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for comment.

Prince Harry 'lonely' as Meghan Markle 'takes back seat' after explosive row

Meghan Markle has returned to Instagram posting and publicly announced her and Prince Harry new deal with Netflix - but there is one issue she's not spoken out about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be toasting their new Netflix deal - but a war of words has still rumbled on in the background. ‌ Earlier this year, the Duke of Sussex stepped down from Sentebale, the charity he founded to help children orphaned by Aids in Lesotho, following a boardroom battle with the chairwoman, Dr Sophie Chandauka. ‌ Harry was said to be devastated by the row, which saw all sides rebuked by the Charity Commission for allowing the war of words to play out so publicly. Meghan was even dragged into the row earlier this year when Dr Chandauka claimed she caused a stir at a fund- raiser for the charity with little notice. ‌ But despite posting on Instagram and publicly announcing the new Netflix deal, Meghan has stayed silent on the row. And according to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, there is good reason for this. She told the Mirror: "This is a very sensitive issue all round. Sentebale was Harry's charity from the start, along with his co-founder, Prince Seeiso. "The allegations of misogyny and misogynoir - both discounted by the charity commission - make this an even more sensitive issue for Meghan to become involved with. "So I think she has wisely taken a back seat on this and left it to her husband. I'm sure she has supported and comforted him in private, and I think Harry will completely understand that it's not her place to get involved in a public row with his charity." ‌ Since the Charity Commission's report, it has since been revealed that Harry might be set to start a new humanitarian charity. His spokesperson said: "The duke remains absolutely committed to continuing the work he started, supporting the children and young people of Lesotho and Botswana, nearly 20 years ago. In what form that support takes — no decisions have been made. "All options remain on the table; whether that be starting a new charity or working to support pre-existing charities operating in the same sector in the region." But for royal historian and expert Dr Tessa Dunlop, Meghan's silence on the issue has been notable. She added: "Now that Meghan and Harry have signed a new Netflix deal ('looser' and apparently less lucrative than the previous $78m one but a deal nonetheless), might the Duchess find her voice? ‌ "Not the one she volubly uses to hawk As Ever wares (in conjunction with Netflix) but rather the voice Meghan famously re-found after leaving the Royal Family, the one that talked her truth to royal power and surely could talk her truth to the Sentebale fiasco? "No, really, why hasn't Meghan come out batting for Prince Harry in his latest round of verbal fisty-cuffs concerning his former African charity? After all, the Duke has consistently spoken out in support of his wife, establishing the precedent early on and against the wishes of his family when he condemned Britain's media coverage and insisted he had never before witnessed such a 'degree of pressure, scrutiny and harassment' from the press. As it currently stands, Harry cuts a lonely figure."

Millie Mackintosh's ‘comfiest jeans ever' hail from Kate Middleton's go-to denim brand

Millie Mackintosh hailed her flared 70s-style jeans the 'comfiest jeans ever' and they hail from the same brand that Kate Middleton buys her favourite jeans from Trying to find a pair of jeans that are comfortable, well-fitting and look great can be one of the biggest struggles when it comes to shopping. After countless hours spent sweating in changing rooms trying to find a pair that make you feel great, it's no surprise many of us find shopping for denim one of our least favourite jobs. However Millie Mackintosh might have cracked the code, as she posed in a pair of & Other Stories' High-Waist Flared Jeans on Instagram last week. She praised them as 'The comfiest jeans ever', and it seems the brand might be a winner when it comes to denim as they're also the go-to for Kate Middleton. Princess Kate is a known fan of & Other Stories' Slim Jeans (formerly known as the Favourite Jeans), which are notoriously tricky to get your hands on. The closest style available on the website right now is the Cropped Slim Leg Jeans (£77) which have a similar slim fit that The Princess of Wales favours. Millie's pair, thankfully, are much easier to get your hands on. Her High-Waist Flared Jeans are currently available directly from the & Other Stories website, over at ASOS, and at H&M, where they're priced at £87. The jeans have a classic 70s-inspired fit, with a high waist and flared bootcut leg, and the addition of two patch pockets on the front seals the deal on the retro design. The high waist keeps them comfortable and helps elongate your legs, and the wider legs makes them perfect for wearing with anything from sandals to boots, so you can wear them in every season. They're also made with plenty of stretch, which is what makes them so comfortable that Millie can't stop raving about them. You can pick them up in dark blue, as well as a light ecru colour, which is currently on sale at ASOS down from £87 to £69, and several other colours ways if you shop them at H&M. Other brands have also launched their own version of the 70s-style jeans, with White Stuff's Frankie Flare Jean now on sale for £52, down from £65 and available in sizes six to 24. Marks & Spencer also has the ultra-affordable Patch Pocket Flare High Waisted Jeans for £39.50, with a choice of three different colours and sizes six to 24. For a slimmer fit that keeps the same shape and style, New Look's Blue Patch Pocket Flared Denim Jeans are £39.99 and have a tighter fit around the hips and thighs, before flaring out from the knee. They come in sizes six to 18, with all sizes currently still in stock.
