Motorhome fire causes major delays on I-15 in Kaysville

Yahoo07-06-2025
KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — A motorhome fire on I-15 in Kaysville caused the freeway to temporarily close down in both directions.
According to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), a pickup truck was hauling a camper on a trailer traveling southbound on I-15. Around mile marker 326, the driver pulled over after he noticed smoke coming from the camper trailer.
Due to on-board propane tanks, the fire began to engulf both vehicles. UHP closed down both directions of traffic temporarily due to the risk of the fire spreading, but lanes have since reopened as crews work to remove debris.

Carson Hocevar draws the ire of Zane Smith and FRM crew chief

As he tried to fight back from a mid-race incident, Carson Hocevar got loose underneath Zane Smith and sent the Front Row Motorsports driver spinning into the outside wall. However, things did not end there as the damaged No. 38 Ford of Smith appeared to try and get payback later in the race, taking a swipe at the No. 77 and missing. Hocevar even reacted to it on the radio saying, "nice try." Hocevar rebounded to finish eighth at Iowa Speedway, while Smith finished several laps down in 36th. 'It was just another work of art from [team owner] Jeff Dickerson, wanting us to fight through adversity and be able to come out with a good result," said Hocevar as he reflected on the race. "That's what he's preached and that's what we've been focusing on. We were turned around at one point and just struggling to go anywhere. We were just able to reset and regroup. Luke [Lambert, crew chief] did a really good job for this No. 77 Chevrolet team to at least put something on the board and be able to go into next weekend with a little momentum with two top-10s in a row.' Post-race confrontation While he didn't directly address the incident with Smith in the above quotes, the opposing FRM team was eager to address it with him. Ryan Bergenty, who works as the crew chief for the No. 38, confronted Hocevar after the race in a heated conversation. reporter Stephen Stumpf even caught the beginning of the tense interaction on video. Hocevar has been involved in several run-ins this year, including an infamous multi-week feud with Ricky Stenhouse Jr., as well as various other drivers throughout the field. The 22-year-old is having an impressive season with flashes speed, but Smith is just the latest of many enemies he has made along the way. Another woman wrote, 'I was negotiating for like three hours. I was the last person in the building. The manager finally said, 'You remind me of my daughter. Go pick a car. The Car-Buying Process as a Woman Do women really need only start crying to get the best deal on a new car? The reality is much more complicated. According to the Kruise Control blog, women buy a majority of all cars sold in the United States, and influence an even greater proportion of car-buying decisions. Unfortunately, women also more often face more aggressive sales tactics when they go to buy a car. This can be attributed to a number of factors, including sexist stereotypes, a lack of female salespeople at dealerships, and even cultural biases. And the results are that women pay more on average, anywhere from 1% to an eye-popping 39%. When women do their homework and become active participants in the car-buying process, that disadvantage melts away. told NPR in 2012 that women ask questions more thoroughly than men, and they do more research in advance. One analyst told the outlet that women sometimes overcompensate because of how they've been treated in dealerships by men. The northbound side of the Zilwaukee Bridge will be closed starting Aug. 4. Here's what to know.

The northbound side of the Zilwaukee Bridge in Saginaw County, Michigan, will be closed for around three months starting Monday for preventative maintenance work. According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, the closure impacts the northbound lanes of Interstate 75, which includes the bridge, from Kochville Road to Wadsworth Road. During the shutdown: Northbound I-75 will be closed and detoured to northbound Interstate 675 from the I-75/I-675 interchange south of Wadsworth Road to the northbound I-675 junction north of Kochville Road. The westbound Michigan Highway 81 ramp to northbound I-75 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured using southbound I-75 to reach northbound I-675 near Wadsworth Road. Both the southbound and northbound ramps from Michigan Highway 13 to northbound I-75 will be closed. Traffic for the southbound M-13 ramp to northbound I-75 will be detoured using southbound I-75 to reach northbound I-675. Traffic for the I-75 ramp to northbound M-13 will be detoured using westbound M-81 to reach westbound M-13. The southbound I-675 ramp to northbound I-75 will be closed.
