‘My children were discriminated against': Mrs J blasts The Mommy Club

The Citizen20-05-2025

Mrs J accuses the show of sidelining her children.
After the explosive first part of The Mommy Club Season 3 reunion, reality star Mrs J, real name Kabelo Jantjies, has taken to her social media platforms to rant about the show.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Mrs J alleged that the production team discriminated against her children.
She claimed that none of the scenes she filmed with her children were aired.
'Week in, week out, we all had hopes that the scene with my children would play, but it did not. No explanation, nothing. I really feel like my children were discriminated against from day one until the very last,' she wrote.
Mrs J also expressed her dissatisfaction that her children were not invited to the reunion.
She hinted that she did not complete filming the second part of the reunion, which is set to air this Saturday, 24 May.
She added: 'As a mother, my number one role is to always and forever protect my kids, hence I couldn't finish the reunion. I was not going to sit there when my child was not invited without any solid reason or explanation.
'How do you explain to the child why they are not invited? But anyway, as unkind as it is, we move on. Hope you all enjoy part two of the reunion.'
The Citizen sent questions to the production via MultiChoice. At the time of publication, a response had not been received.

Mrs J: 'I hope we can iron out our differences'
The first part of The Mommy Club Season 3 reunion saw the ladies try to hash things out and exchange apologies here and there.
In an interview before the reunion, Mrs J said she wanted to address all the things that were said behind her back.
'I would like to use the reunion as an opportunity to address what needs to be addressed fully. I couldn't believe some of the comments made behind my back. As mothers, I hope we can iron out our differences and see if there's a way forward,' she added.
She came out guns blazing, confronting the ladies—especially Mrs Sande—for making fun of her ancestral gift.
However, Mrs J also had to answer for herself when Vuyi confronted her about previous comments she had made about Pheladi, who was absent from the reunion.

Nozipho Ntshangase's heartbreak: Husband Zola marries second wife

Reality TV star Nozipho Ntshangase. Image: Instagram Nozipho Ntshangase's husband of 17 years, Zola, married his second wife, 25-year-old Misokuhle, this weekend. Last year, the reality TV star, who has eight children with her husband, shared that she was not in favour of the union. On The Mommy Club, Nozipho openly expressed her heartbreak regarding Zola's intention to take a second wife, stating, "The plan has changed to bring me pain and to bring my kids pain. I'm not happy with the plan". Last year, a video showing a heated argument between Zola and his family, including Nozipho and their children, went viral. In the video, Zola demanded his car keys to leave the house, while Nozipho insisted she needed the vehicle to take the children to school. The argument escalated, with Zola accusing his sons of ganging up on him. The fact that he went ahead and married his second wife has sparked debate among South Africans. The public reaction has been largely sympathetic towards Nozipho, with many criticising Zola for proceeding with the marriage despite her clear objections. Facebook user, Yolokazi Chagi, shared a post telling women to prioritise themselves when it comes to relationships. Yolokazi Chagi tells women to put themselves first. When it's time for him to pack nothing will ever make him change his mind so nawe as a woman do not be blinded by love, always put your goals and dreams before indoda because he can switch up anytime if he wants to and not even God will stop him once he finds new love (emoji)' Many women took to the comment section agreeing with the Chagi. 'Absolutely… focus ladies, focus', responded one person. 'Men will leave you in the desert WITHOUT WATER,' commented another woman. 'Grateful to have fulfilled my dream': Lebo M gets engaged again

Music composer Lebo Morake, popularly known as Lebo M, is preparing to tie the knot once again—this time with his longtime partner, Malefu Ntsala. The Lion King composer proves that he still believes in love despite having been married four times before. He proposed to Malefu over the weekend during a dreamy engagement in Dubai, and the couple shared the exciting news on Instagram. 'The day we stop believing in love and possibilities is the day we stop dreaming. Absolutely grateful to have fulfilled my dream & begin this new chapter with you. Love always,' wrote Lebo. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lebo M Morake (@thereallebo_m) Many flooded the post with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple on their engagement. Their romance was rekindled after a previous split. According to reports, the pair got engaged in 2020 and called it quits. This is after Lebo went back to his ex-wife Anela Ngani-Casara whom he had married twice. Although ZiMoja reported in 2024 that the couple had rekindled their romance, the acclaimed producer initially denied the claims. This came after he posted a photo on social media showing a woman's feet resting on his lap during a tour in Spain and Portugal, which sparked speculation. When questioned, Lebo M downplayed the photo, insisting it meant nothing and stating: 'I am single and currently enjoying my life.' 'There is nothing there, she is a colleague…Nothing there. If I was back in the dating game, I wouldn't have a problem confirming phela, I've been 'single' since July 2023,' he added. However, a source close to the situation revealed that the woman in the picture is indeed Lebo M's former fiancée. According to the source, the two had previously been engaged but parted ways due to Lebo's continued involvement with his ex-wife, Angela. 'They dated a few years ago and even got engaged but they broke up as Lebo was entertaining his ex-wife Angela. The woman could not take it and broke it off, but there was never bad blood between them. The woman just wanted him to get over his ex,' the source said.
