Saahel's New Single ‘Baarish Mein Phir' Blends Indian Classical With R&B Vibes
Saahel's latest single Baarish Mein Phir is a monsoon-inspired track about long-distance love, blending electronic R&B with Indian classical melodies.
After tugging at heartstrings with his viral track Tera Pata, singer-songwriter Saahel returns with Baarish Mein Phir—a soul-stirring ballad set against the gentle symphony of the monsoon. Released on August 1, 2025, the song merges smooth electronic R&B with the delicate touch of Indian classical melodies, weaving a soundscape that's both contemporary and timeless.
Written, composed, and produced entirely by Saahel, Baarish Mein Phir is more than just a love song—it's a wistful letter carried by the rain. Inspired by the ache and magic of long-distance relationships, the track imagines a world where weather becomes the sole medium of communication, with each raindrop whispering unspoken emotions between two hearts separated by cities.
'The monsoon has always been deeply inspirational for me—it stirs something creative every time," Saahel shared. 'With Baarish Mein Phir, I wanted to write a song for people who aren't together anymore or live in different cities. It's about two people speaking to each other through nothing but the rain… and somehow, it's enough."
Following the success of Tera Pata, which earned him a coveted spot on Spotify's Times Square billboard via the RADAR program, Saahel continues to deepen his storytelling with each release. His new song echoes the emotional resonance of Tera Pata while introducing a fresh narrative of longing, connection, and monsoon nostalgia.
The single is now streaming on all major platforms and has already begun to strike a chord with listeners, reaffirming Saahel's growing reputation as a genre-blending, emotion-forward artist in India's indie music space.
At just 22, Saahel has built an impressive trajectory—from training in Hindustani Classical music since childhood to going viral on Instagram with his Hindi versions and mashups of international hits. His acoustic takes on tracks like Maan Meri Jaan, Heartbreak Anniversary, and Stay have earned him millions of views, while mashups like Premika X Ishq Wala Love and Saiyyan X Glimpse of Us have become fan favourites.
Earlier this year, he kicked off his Zariya Tour across India and delivered a standout performance in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the first time. With over 3.6 million streams on Spotify and a Radio City award for Best Young Indie Artist (2022) under his belt, Saahel's ascent in the indie scene continues to gain momentum.
With Baarish Mein Phir, he offers yet another deeply personal yet universally relatable track—one that reminds us how love often finds a way to speak, even through silence… or rain.

Exclusive - Harleen Kaur Rekhi on playing the lead in Kaamdhenu Gaumata: It's an absolute blessing
New TV show Kaamdhenu Gaumata is all set to air from August 11. The show is being produced by Prem Sagar and Shiv Sagar, features actress Harleen Kaur Rekhi in the titular role of Kaamdhenu Devi. The actress spoke about being part of the show and said, "It's an absolute blessing. The story of Kaamdhenu Gaumata has never been told in its entirety on Indian television." "People have only seen fragments, never the full truth. What Prem Sagar sir, Ramanand Sagar sir, Shiv Ji, and Neelam ma'am are doing is remarkable. Their vision and dedication are awe-inspiring. If you look at Ramayan, it's still a benchmark even today. I truly hope our efforts, from pre-production to post-production, resonate with audiences in the same way," she added. She also confessed that working on the show deepened her spiritual beliefs. She said, "I've always been spiritual—there's a difference between being religious and being spiritual, and I connect with both." "I've been performing in Ramleela for the last 10–12 years during Navratri , so mythology has always been close to my heart. But this show took it to another level. I felt like I explored a whole new version of myself. It deepened my inner connection with the universe," she added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Family Pictures That Will Definitely Make You Laugh Out Loud Undo She further said, "I bonded with Kapila (our Gaumata) on day one itself. Though I was always fond of Gaumata, I never had the courage to be in close proximity to cows — maybe I was just uncomfortable because I've never had pets or been around animals closely. But after spending 4–5 months on set with her, the experience transformed me. Even when my parents visited the set, I made sure they met her. She was so loving and calm. Parting away from her was painful too — she could even recognize me just by hearing my footsteps or voice. It's taken my perspective to a whole new level," Harleen ended.
