Travis Kelce peels back the curtain in rare look at ‘some adventures' with Taylor Swift

New York Post6 days ago
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift made it further than 'Cornelia Street' this offseason, pictures posted to the NFL star's Instagram highlighted.
With NFL training camps opening this week, the tight end ended his offseason by sharing several snaps of what he had been up to since the Chiefs were defeated in the Super Bowl this past winter, showing a number of adventures accompanied by his pop culture icon girlfriend.
Kelce captioned the post, 'Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯.'

Among the carousel of photos, one featured Kelce and Swift on vacation with sports journalist Erin Andrews and her husband, ex-NHLer Jarret Stoll, and Prime Video NFL host Charissa Thompson and her partner, Steven Cundari.
The trio of couples had gone on a secret getaway to Montana in March, Page Six previously reported, and had a meal at the Auric Room at Lone Mountain Ranch.

'Erin is close friends with Taylor and Travis, and Travis even jokingly credits Erin with encouraging Taylor to date him,' an insider told the outlet at the time. 'They're all good friends.'

Other photos from that particular trip appeared to make the highlight reel, with Kelce also posting a goofy shot of himself in a snow-covered area, appearing to kick while Swift laughed next to him.

Another shot showed football's first couple on ice skates, with Kelce holding a hockey stick.
The two were also photographed in matching white tops and wearing his and hers caps that read, 'Captain' and 'First Mate.'
Kelce posted a photo of himself, alongside his brother, former Eagles star Jason Kelce, on stage performing at a concert at the American Century Championship, which took place earlier this month.
The Chiefs star also shared a picture of himself at Tight End University with Greg Kittle, Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen and Brock Bowers.

The Kelces' beloved parents also made the carousel, with a photo of dad, Ed, on a boat and another of Travis and Jason posing in a loving family photo with mom, Donna, in between the football brothers.
The summer adventures didn't seem to cut down on his football playing ability, with Chiefs coach Andy Reid lauding Kelce's shape.
'He's svelte right now. He looks like he's 20,' coach Andy Reid told reporters Thursday. 'He's doing a good job and he's in great shape. I'm not sure he didn't come in first on the whole conditioning thing.
'He was right up front. You can see he's been working out. He's worked hard to get to this spot.'

NFL vows resilience following shooting at the league office building that killed 4 people

The NFL vowed to be resilient, two days after league headquarters was targeted by a gunman who killed four people on Monday. 'The NFL is deeply grateful for the global outpouring of support following the tragic act of violence at the New York city building that houses our league office among other organizations,' the league said in a statement Wednesday. 'We honor the four innocent lives lost, including NYPD Officer Didarul Islam, whose heroism will never be forgotten. Our thoughts are with the survivors as they begin the difficult journey of physical and emotional recovery. The NFL family is resilient and united, and together, we will find strength in one another as we heal.' The league held a virtual town hall Wednesday, giving employees an opportunity to connect and share resources. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell told employees on Tuesday they could work remotely at least through the end of next week because league offices would be closed. Investigators believe Shane Tamura, 27, of Las Vegas, was trying to get to the NFL offices after shooting several people in the building's lobby, then another in a 33rd-floor office on Monday, before he killed himself, authorities said. Police said Tamura had a history of mental illness, and a rambling note found on his body suggested that he had a grievance against the NFL over a claim that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disease that can be diagnosed only by examining the brain after a person dies. Tamura played high school football in California a decade ago but never in the NFL. This is a big week for the NFL as the preseason schedule kicks off Thursday night with the annual Hall of Fame game. The Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers face off in the exhibition opener. On Saturday, Eric Allen, Jared Allen, Antonio Gates and Sterling Sharpe will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. ___ AP Sports Writer Stephen Whyno contributed to this report. ___ AP NFL: Rob Maaddi, The Associated Press

Robert Kraft, Mike Vrabel show support to NFL League Office after tragic shooting

FOXBOROUGH — Before the start of Wednesday's practice, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel took a moment to address the tragic shooting that occurred on Monday in a Manhattan office that includes the NFL headquarters. "Real quick, before we get started. Just the cadence of this thing, I hadn't talked to you guys yesterday. I want to just send our thoughts and prayers to the League office," Vrabel said. "Been in that building, I've got a lot of friends in that building, and so I just want to make sure that on behalf of our football team, our players, our staff, everybody here, that they know that we're thinking about them." Patriots owner Robert Kraft also took a moment to talk about this during an appearance on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams. "We're all excited because the beginning of training camp and this week we started in pads, and I've been looking forward to this for months. And to have what we had happen in New York, it was so sad," Kraft said. "And when you look, there's (NYPD officer Didarul Islam), who came from Bangladesh. A good Muslim man who has two kids... His wife is pregnant, and he gets killed. It just creates a whole seriousness." "We're trying to, with our Blue Square Foundation, push back on this and preach love," Kraft added, mentioning his "Stand Up Against Hate" campaign he began in 2019. "And of course, what the NFL represents, bringing communities together, people of all backgrounds rooting for their team. I know how people are excited about our team, and then we have this dampener because we have a man who's mentally ill come in with a rifle and do what he did and kill innocent people. "We live in the greatest country in the world," Kraft concluded. "We got to stop that from happening." On Monday, a gunman killed a New York City police officer and three other people before taking his own life, the Associated Press reported. The gunman was identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura from Las Vegas, and it was determined he was targeting the NFL headquarters, but entered the wrong elevator. Specifically, a three-page note found in his wallet "suggested he had a grievance against the NFL over a claim that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy."
