Major Emmerdale couple ‘set to reunite' as Lewis works his magic
There is nothing this kid can't do, from growing medicinal weed to making the villagers Shakshuka eggs, now he's about to solve his brother's love woes to boot.
Lewis learns about Ross Barton (Mike Parr) failed relationship with Steph (Georgia Jay) and resolves to do something about it.
Ross and Steph had an unexpected relationship that flourished for a while but quickly became doomed when she learned that she was the product of sexual abuse and that her grandfather was really her father.
Something like that can really put a dampener on a fledgling relationship, and for her and Ross it was too much. Steph was distraught to learn of what happened to her mother and became fixated on her looks, claiming that every glance in a mirror she saw Anthony looking back at her.
After several failed attempts at plastic surgery, Steph finally broke down and despite all his support, dumped Ross to focus on herself. She told him she couldn't be the person he needed, and she was setting him free.
Steph hasn't been seen much since then, but she's back. More Trending
Lewis digs into Ross' relationship and finds himself intrigued by the story with Steph. It doesn't seem to have had a proper ending; it was more like bad timing.

Emmerdale's Robert Sugden batters brother John to the ground with a wrench in brutal attack - with life-changing consequences
Thursday's episode of Emmerdale saw Robert Sugden batter his brother John to the ground with a wrench in a brutal attack - and there sounds like there will be life-changing consequences. As viewers will know, Robert (Ryan Hawley) shocked the village when he made a shock return back in May when he gatecrashed his ex Aaron Dingle's (Danny Miller) wedding to his long-lost brother John (Oliver Farnworth). Back in 2019, Robert was sent to prison for accidentally killing Wendy Posner's (Susan Cookson) son Lee (Kris Mochrie) after raping his sister Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins). But since his return the siblings haven't seen eye to eye. During the most recent instalment of the ITV soap (31 July 2025), Robert tried to provoke a reaction from John. John tried to ignore him, but things got very heated after their sister Victoria tried to get to the bottom of what was going on. To make matters worse, it was revealed that Robert was involved in the recent break-in at Moira Dingle's farm, Butler's Farm. So this meant that nobody was impressed with Robert's actions - so much so that his former flame Aaron told him that he needs to leave the village for good. And a smug John told him that he thinks that he needs to seek medical help. But that led them on to have a very heated confrontation out in the street. A very happy John wanted to rub it into Robert's face that nobody is impressed with him at the moment. That riled up his brother and led them on to get into a physical fight. Robert got out a wrench and knocked his brother to the ground. But what will the repercussions of Robert's actions be? But what will the repercussions of Robert's actions be? Will he end up in prison AGAIN? Or will he feel guilty and want to make amends with his brother? Will he end up in prison AGAIN? Or will he feel guilty and want to make amends with his brother? Robert first appeared in the dales back in the 80s. He was first played by Richard Smith, followed by Christopher Smith. Between 2001 and 2009 Karl Davies portrayed the character. But Ryan has played Robert since 2014. Robert returned to Emmerdale earlier this year and he revealed the extreme lengths they took on keeping his storyline under wraps. Speaking to The Mirror about his epic return, he said: 'The secret is out today! 'My character is returning permanently and not just for Aaron and John's wedding. I am back for good, and I am so excited to be playing Robert again.' The star has been living in Brazil with his family over the past year and never thought it was the 'right time' to reprise his role. But something had changed to make him return. And the show pulled out all the stops to make sure that the return was a surprise and kept under wraps for as long as possible. He explained: 'My scripts have had Marco on them, rather than Robert, and so much effort has been put into it. 'I have been coming in via a secret entrance, so nobody could see me arrive, and it has been very hush, hush. 'I have also got driven in by one of our very trusted esteemed transport seniors to make sure it stayed a secret, and so much hard work has been put into it logistically.' Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.

Emmerdale's Belle warns April after violent Tom ordeal as gory injury's revealed
Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) issued a major warning to April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) in tonight's Emmerdale, following her ordeal with Tom King. Viewers will know that Belle was a victim of domestic violence at Tom's hands, so it is understandable that she is concerned for her younger cousin. In recent scenes, April was left upset when she was stood up by Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), and Belle was quick to offer some advice. She reminded April that she shouldn't make excuses for bad behaviour, and if someone shows their true colours, she should believe them the first time. However, April was distracted from the conversation after spotting Dylan down the street, and made excuses to go after him. After following him to the cricket pavilion, April was horrified to realise that he had lied about having a flat share to live in, and that he was injured. April was gutted that he had clearly avoided her so he wouldn't have to tell her the truth, but offered to help him all the same. Unfortunately, Dylan wasn't ready to accept her help and ordered her out. Later, Belle found her at home and was concerned that she was skipping work because she was still upset about being stood up. April assured her that wasn't the case, though Belle doubled down on her warnings, insisting that she block Dylan on all social media. April wasn't going to let that put her off though, and she later returned with supplies to treat Dylan's wound, seeing as he was refusing to go to hospital. More Trending With April still willing to help, Dylan finally told her the truth about his injuries, explaining that he had been one of the lads who had terrified Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) at the farm. He revealed that he was supposed to be helping a mate scope the place out, after Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) told him that weed was being grown there, but he got injured when Kyle stabbed him with a pitchfork. Emmerdale exit 'sealed' for Robert Sugden weeks after return in surprise prison twist
John Sugden got on the wrong side of Robert tonight which led to an altercation between the pair - and now Robert is risking prison time and John has been rushed to hospital John Sugden faced the wrath of Robert Sugden tonight on Emmerdale after he goaded his relative. Robert has just returned to the village fr om a stint in prison and was desperate to reunite with his ex Aaron Dingle. However, Aaron had moved on with John and Robert tried to stop the wedding to no avail. Viewers know how bad John is - having killed Nate and framed a number of disastrous events on other villagers to gain their trust. He has been goading Robert over 'winning' Aaron and with Robert convinced John is bad, he said he will stop at nothing to bring John down. Tonight, he was goaded so much by evil John - and now his reaction risks trouble ahead. In tonight's episode, brothers Robert and John went head to head, with sister Victoria Sugden desperate to resolve their feud. Robert continued to provoke John and soon there was a big altercation. It comes as a final showdown looms for John on Emmerdale - with three characters involved. In front of the Woolpack, the truth about Robert's involvement in the farm break-in was revealed and no one was happy with the discovery. Aaron told Robert he needed to leave the village but John tried to convince everyone Robert needed some medical help. When they were alone later, John goaded Robert and he lashed out, hitting John with a wrench and leaving him unconscious. He was found by a devastated Aaron and was rushed to hospital. Will Robert end up back inside for the attack - and is his exit looming already? Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, previously teased there was drama and conflict ahead on Robert's return. He said: "Rejoining the cast of Emmerdale feels fantastic. I've been having so much fun being back here. Oddly, more fun than I thought it was going to be, in a good way. We've been filming some great stuff, there's a lot more to Robert's return than just the value of opening the door. "I've been having so much fun, everyone's been lovely, and there are a lot of familiar faces and loads of really positive energy about the place. There's lots of drama, lots of conflict. There's the dilemma for Aaron and John and also his return affects so many other people in the village." His return to Emmerdale was kept such a secret that he was given codenames and used a secret entrance. He shared at the time: "I was given a code name of 'Marco', In fact I think everyone's sick of hearing the name Marco. I've been using a secret entrance to get into the building and I've had a driver picking me up from my house and driving me to Emmerdale. "Plus most of my scenes have even been scheduled in the village so that I wouldn't run the risk of bumping into people and it getting out. There's so much effort that's gone into it. I didn't tell anyone. I didn't tell my family or friends. Just fairly recently, I said, 'it's Ryan, I play Robert' and the security guard said 'what's your code name." I said, "Marco." And then he let me in!"
