Sonam Kapoor Looks Back At I Hate Luv Storys As The Rom-Com Turns 15

Sonam Kapoor marked 15 years of I Hate Luv Storys with a heartfelt post and film snippets on social media.
Sonam Kapoor took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as her beloved romantic comedy I Hate Luv Storys completed 15 years after its theatrical release. Marking the occasion, the actress shared a heartfelt post on her social media, featuring snippets from the film that charmed audiences back in 2010.
Released on July 2, 2010, I Hate Luv Storys marked Sonam's third Bollywood movie. In the film, she portrayed Simran, a dreamy, romance-loving woman who crosses paths with the cynical and witty Jay, played by Imran Khan. The duo's contrasting personalities and evolving relationship formed the crux of this modern romantic tale, set against the vibrant backdrops of Mumbai and Queenstown, New Zealand.
Directed and written by Punit Malhotra in his directorial debut, the film was produced by two major banners—Dharma Productions (Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar) and UTV Motion Pictures (Ronnie Screwvala)—bringing them together for the first time in a collaborative project. The film's breezy storyline, youthful vibe and fresh pairing of Sonam and Imran struck a chord with the younger generation.
The soundtrack, composed by Vishal–Shekhar, became an instant hit, with chart-topping numbers like Bin Tere and Bahara. The lyrics were penned by Anvita Dutt Guptan, Kumaar and Vishal Dadlani. The film also earned four nominations at the 56th Filmfare Awards, including Best Music Director (Vishal–Shekhar), Best Lyricist (Vishal Dadlani for Bin Tere), Best Male Playback Singer (Shafqat Amanat Ali) and Best Female Playback Singer (Shreya Ghoshal for Bahara).
Sonam Kapoor has taken time away from the silver screen, especially after embracing motherhood. She welcomed her son Vayu on August 20, 2022 and was last seen in the 2023 thriller Blind, directed by Shome Makhija.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan, who has been away from acting for nearly a decade, is finally making a much-awaited comeback. Known for his memorable roles in romantic comedies like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and Break Ke Baad, the actor is all set to return to the screen opposite Bhumi Pednekar in an upcoming rom-com. The film will be helmed by Danish Aslam, who previously directed Break Ke Baad, reuniting him with Imran after 15 years.

War 2 Hindi Advance Booking Report: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR film sells GOOD 50,000 tickets in top chains for Thursday, with 2 days to go

.War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, and starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani among others, continued its good pace in advance bookings for the Hindi version. The total tickets sold in top national chains like PVRInox and Cinepolis for the opening day, as at 11:30pm on 11th August, 2025, stand at 50,000. A final PIC ticket count of 1,50,000 plus can be expected, making it very eligible for a Rs 30 crore plus net Hindi opening. War 2 (Hindi) Sells 50,000 Tickets In Top Chains For Day 1, Two Days Out War 2's Telugu version bookings should start tomorrow, and the bookings are expected to be heartening. However, considering the fact that it is, at the end of the day, a Bollywood movie and not a conventional Tollywood biggie which gets support from the local diaspora audience without much effort, the bookings are not expected to be bumper. The all India day 1 expectations are pinned at Rs 55 crore net, with day 2 numbers expected to be over Rs 60 crore net. War 2's Bookings Are Good, Though Not Exceptional While the bookings of War 2 can be classified as good, given everything, what was really expected was excellent or bumper. The initial euphoria seen in some of the 2023 Bollywood biggies is not visible here. The masses are not totally on board and it will take some really strong word of mouth to get that section of audience to watch it. Fighter trended well but suffered immensely because of not getting the desired support from the masses. Whether War 2 changes that for Hrithik Roshan is still to be seen. War 2 Targets A Rs 100 Crore Gross Worldwide Start The bookings of War 2 internationally are reasonable. A Rs 100 crore global opening day will be a touch and go for the Hrithik-Jr NTR actioner. Its release rival Coolie is cruising towards a number of around Rs 140 crore on the other hand. Since Hindi films are known to trend better than Tamil films due to less exhaustion of audiences on the opening day, it is expected that War 2 will eventually take the lead provided it lives up to its hype. Hrithik Roshan's speech at War 2 pre-release event goes viral, showers praises on NTR: ‘I have learnt from you…'

Hyderabad turned into the center of excitement as the makers of War 2 held the film's only promotional event in the city on Sunday, August 10. The choice of venue was no coincidence; it was to celebrate the massive fan base of Telugu superstar NTR. Fans traveled from different states, filling the venue with chants and cheers for the RRR star. The event brought together NTR and his co-star Hrithik Roshan, with the latter taking the stage to share his admiration for the Telugu actor. 'Tarak, I have not just observed you, but I have learnt from you,' Hrithik said, praising NTR's dedication and skill. Here's what Hrithik learnt from NTR on set Hrithik reflected on the similarities between their careers. 'I see a lot of myself in Tarak. We have had very similar journeys for 25 years now, and I think Tarak sees a little bit of himself in me also,' he said. Calling NTR a 'one-take final-take star,' Hrithik admired his ability to deliver perfection on the first try. Sharing what he picked up while working together, Hrithik shared, 'I have learnt how to go into a shot 100% - not 99.99%, not 99.999, but 100%. Which is why when he comes out of a shot, there is no judgement on me. He will not even check the shot because he knows he has given everything to it. And I will apply that in my future films. Tarak, thank you for teaching me that.' War 2 release date and details Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, War 2 is part of the Yash Raj Spy Universe. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in lead roles, with NTR making his Bollywood debut as the antagonist. Aside from high-octane action sequences, audiences can look forward to a unique 'dance-war' between Hrithik and NTR in the song Janaabe Aali, composed by Pritam, sung by Sachet Tandon and Saaj Bhatt, and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. War 2 is set to release in theatres on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. With NTR also working on his 2026 mytho-sci-fi film NTR x Neel, the actor continues to remain at the forefront of Indian cinema's biggest upcoming blockbusters. Badshah calls 'Unfinished Tour' in US, 'closure, celebration, and commitment rolled into one'

Rapper Badshah , who is set to embark on his 'Unfinished Tour' in the US, has called the tour closure, celebration, and commitment rolled into one. The tour is specially curated for the Indian diaspora and Bollywood music lovers across the U.S. After an abrupt and dramatic pause during his last U.S. tour in 2024, Badshah is set to take the stage once again. Talking about the tour, Badshah said in a statement, "The Unfinished Tour is very special for me, it is more than just a comeback. It's closure, celebration, and commitment rolled into one. What happened in 2024 was unfortunate, but it made me even more determined to give my fans the show they truly deserve. With Mr. Sood and his team, I believe we will live up to that promise together. I'm coming back stronger, louder, and more grateful than ever. I've always had an amazing experience performing for the warm and energetic crowd in the U.S., and I'm especially excited to be back after what happened last year." The name of the tour, 'Unfinished', is a direct nod to Badshah's previously interrupted U.S. tour in 2024, which had to be cancelled midway due to internal disputes among the previous promoters and production team. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like What is an insulated prefabricated house and how much does it cost? Unwilling to compromise on the quality of his performances or his fans' experience, Badshah and his team made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining cities and return to India. The tour is organised by Intense Entertainment, owned by Manish Sood and Deepa Sahani Sood, Indian-born U.S. citizens who have successfully organised over 100 shows featuring every Bollywood's most celebrated artist. Manish Sood, National Promoter and Founder of Intense Entertainment, said in a statement, "We're calling it the Unfinished Tour because that's exactly what it is, an unfinished chapter we're ready to complete. This is more than just a tour; it's about honouring an artist's journey and reconnecting with fans who were left waiting. We're going all out to make the Unfinished Tour the biggest live Bollywood-hip hop experience the U.S. has ever seen." The Unfinished Tour 2025 will travel across six major U.S. cities, starting on September 5 in Virginia, followed by September 6 in New Jersey, September 13 in San Francisco, September 14 in Seattle, September 19 in Dallas, and concluding in Chicago on September 20, 2025.
