2026 quarterback commits to Tennessee over Texas A&M, West Virginia
Four-star athlete Legend Bey committed to the Vols over Texas A&M, Duke and West Virginia.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect plays quarterback for North Forney High School in Forney, Texas. He also competes in track.

247Sports ranks Bey as the No. 23 athlete in the class and the No. 49 player in Texas.
Tennessee offered him a scholarship on April 6. He made official visits to the Vols on June 6 and June 13.

With Bey's decision, Tennessee has 13 commitments in its 2026 football recruiting class. The other 12 commitments include quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman CJ Edwards, defensive lineman Zach Groves, safety KJ McClain, safety Luke Thompson, defensive end Kedric Golston II, offensive lineman Edward Baker and wide receiver Zaydyn Anderson.

On paper, the Embiid/George/Maxey core should lead one of the — if not THE — most talented team in the East, but can they be trusted to stay healthy and mesh under coach Nick Nurse? In a down Eastern Conference, this team has the potential to win the conference, but numerous questions lie in its way. Health is at the top of that list of questions. George's surgery may be nothing and something forgotten about by the time next season tips, but it feels like a bad omen. At least.
