A teenager trying to sell his electric scooter was robbed at gunpoint in June, and police say an arrest has now been made.
On June 10, a 16-year-old boy met with a man behind a home on Springfield Road to sell the scooter. Police say the buyer wielded a gun while inspecting it and fled with the scooter.
Investigators of the Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation, and later identified a suspect.
On Aug. 8, officers arrested an 18-year-old man at a home on Manitoba Avenue. He has been charged with armed robbery using a firearm and detained in custody.
