Holly Willoughby unrecognisable as she makes huge change to her appearance
Holly Willoughby has shown off an edgy new look and her fans can't get enough of it. The former This Morning star, 44, took to Instagram on Thursday to unveil her subtle transformation as she rocked a wavy hairstyle and a pair of very out-there glasses.
The mum-of-three snapped a selfie while sitting in the car as she joked about being her children's 'personal party driver'. Holly captioned the snap: "Any other mums/dads of 16 year old, post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums 'Mini' Cabs … and yes… I'm now a Glasses wearer… game changer."
Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin are proud parents to son Harry, 16, daughter Belle, 12, and nine-year-old son Chester. Their eldest son Harry has just completed his GCSE's and it seems like Holly has been roped in as his personal chauffeur after completing his exams.
After unveiling her new look, fans of Holly's flocked to the comment section to gush over her naturally wavy hair as one commented: "Gorgeous. You look so pretty and the glasses really suit you." Another echoed: "Wow!!! Holly you have never looked better."
It comes after Holly's career plans for the future have reportedly been unveiled as she's been left without an upcoming TV show. The star has been a staple on our screens for years but it seems that she hasn't got any upcoming projects for us to look forward to.
The TV star is now at a point in her career where she hasn't got a programme lined-up for the first time in 21 years. This comes as her usual presenting gig on Dancing On Ice has come to an end as the show has been axed.
Holly's other job hosting Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls also won't be happening again as that's been axed as well. She has also chosen to leave You Bet! which means Stephen Mulhern will be hosting the show alone.
It has been reported that Holly's husband Dan Baldwin is working on a reboot of Record Breakers which means Holly could be in with a chance of a presenting job. The Sun reported that a source said it would make "perfect sense" for Holly to be up for the role.
They said: "Record Breakers is likely to be a prime time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly."
Holly has also been in amongst a few names that could be hosting the reboot of Cilla Black's Blind Date. Other celebs that could be up include Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall. Another show Holly is being looked at for is a new Channel 4 programme where new undiscovered singers are found. Holly first returned back to TV last year after taking an 18 month break.
It has also been reported that ITV are keen to keep Holly as she recently met with Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment and daytime about future opportunities.
An insider revealed: "Holly always intended to lock in new presenting roles for ITV, which has been her home for so long. She didn't have anything confirmed earlier this year just due to the way the cards had fallen, but there are a string of exciting projects on the table and 2025 is looking good for Holly.
"Holly is looking to the future and this week's meeting was a big part of that. It won't be a return to daytime programming but new entertainment formats." The meeting coincided with a documentary about Holly's kidnapping airing.
Holly declined to participate in Channel 5's documentary, The Plot To Kill Holly Willoughby, which told the story of the plot by obsessed security guard Gavin Plumb to kidnap, rape and murder her.
The traumatic experience is what led her to step down from her role on ITV1's This Morning and take a break from television altogether.

'It's been f***ing nuts,' Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, tells me from his very posh suite in The Londoner Hotel. As I hug him with a glass of wine in hand, he laughs and tells me: 'Why the f***k not? I'll have a glass of champagne.' Dom, who Bizarre have championed since the release of his debut album in 2019, is always the most colourful, clever and captivating interviewee. And when we speak about his close friendship with Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy he is visibly moved. 'The past couple of weeks have been very weird to connect with,' Dom explains. 'You get to know someone personally, who you love. And then they leave. 'I was texting him, then his son Jack texted me and said, 'He's gone.' I'm like, 'What?' 'Being around the family and being at the funeral, the amount of love there. That family are real as f***k. 'The dream is to have kids and a family like that. There's no gimmicks. It's authentic.' Dom has now released his live version of Ozzy's 1972 solo hit Changes as a charity single to help raise money for Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorns Children's Hospice. He adds: 'The best thing is that I got to honour my hero. That's all I was thinking about. I was singing for one man there.' 'I will never watch it again, it's too uncomfortable,' Dom explains of the film, which will be shown in 150 cinemas nationwide between August 20 and 24. 'I was ready to make a film like this because I completely alleviated all control. 'When people have seen ten seconds of me on the internet, they think they know me. But I'm calm, I'm emotional, I'm angry in places, I'm very passionate. 'I think something like this in today's day and age, where you elongate the imagination, you let it be raw as f**k, is rare. The Sussexes announced yesterday they signed a new "multi-year, first look deal" with Netflix to produce "film and television projects". In harsh comments, she claimed Harry has "no value in terms of entertainment". "Harry is in the attic, he's a hostage, and thankfully he chewed through his leash just in time to make an appearance in the season two trailer," she told The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson. "But he is nowhere to be seen. Yes, obviously, he's dealing with the fallout from his charity and trying to find his own thing. "But the man is lost. I mean, he's really trying to find his feet. "He has a kind of brown Midas touch, which I'm sure the viewers can infer what I mean by that. "And really, this creative side of this endeavor has really been Meghan's push." The expert added that she's interested to see how the Duchess handles directing - having remained in front of the camera on previous projects. Ms Krakue claimed the actress is used to being a "b-list presence in Hollywood", who remained in the "background". "If I was a Netflix executive and I was negotiating this new non-deal with Harry and Meghan," she continued. "Even though she's not entertaining the way that she thinks she is," Ms Krakue added. "Harry just has, there's just nothing to him in terms of entertainment value. "And I think this is probably why Netflix are like, yeah, let's deal with the wife." It was previously thought that the Sussexes' £74million deal with the streamer was not going to be renewed. Harry's vanity project, Polo, about the sport, was watched by just 500,000 people. But it was also understood that bosses were mildly infuriated by Meghan making her As Ever brand a priority. 'Meghan & Harry need to come up with a hit soon' By Matt Wilkinson JUST when you thought it was safe to turn the telly on again... Harry and Meghan are back. And their multi-year renewal with Netflix means they are not going away anytime soon. There have been tense negotiations in recent weeks but Netflix is so deeply involved with Meghan's As Ever brand it was always likely that the streaming giants would want them back. Make no mistake, Harry and Meghan would have been desperate for the deal to be renewed. They will likely be opening a bottle or two of As Ever Rose in Montecito. Because they have invested heavily in Archewell Productions and getting on board with Netflix is central not only to their post-Royal endeavours but more importantly crucial to their bank accounts. If they lost their Netflix money then how could they afford their life in the US? While the length of the deal or how much the couple are getting paid is vague we do know that Meghan will appear in a 'holiday special' in December that will likely clash with the Princess of Wales's annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey. And finally, two years after I revealed in The Sun the couple had bought the rights to the book Meet Me At The Lake, production is in active development. Sources close to the couple are coy about whether Harry or Meghan will appear on screen for the production of Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within which will air later this year. But perhaps the best piece of news from the announcement is no repeat of the six-part documentary which dumped on the Royal Family. However, 'Harry & Meghan' was a ratings dream and none of their projects since have been anywhere as successful. They need to come up with a hit soon. And this 'first look' deal means Netflix has the first option on new projects from the couple without any guaranteed commitment. But remember the Sussexes are not the only Royals to be in bed with Netflix. The King will feature in a documentary on The King's Foundation with Idris Elba. The With Love, Meghan viewing figures have reportedly been "dismal". The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have previously released a number of shows on the platform, including a 2022 documentary on their lives and lifestyle show With Love, Meghan this year. They had secured a lucrative five-year contract - thought to be worth more than $100 million (£74 million) - with Netflix after quitting as senior working royals in 2020. However, a new deal has been signed for "much less", an insider told Page Six. Meghan said in a statement: 'We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand. "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.' 'DOWNGRADE' Netflix will only pay for projects they want to screen, rather than pay in a single multi-million pound agreement like the one signed in 2020, The Sun understands. The Sun can also reveal, however, that the streaming giants will cover Archewell Productions's overheads, including all costs for its offices and staff. The new deal was also described as a "downgrade" by PR expert Mark Borkowski. He told the Mail: "I think Netflix has done a very neat job of pivoting away from two very expensive people who didn't deliver, and they've taken that deal off the table, and they've given them a modest one. "It's not like they're gradually uncoupling – it's a downgrade. Netflix are not going to expose themselves to those budgets again. It's Netflix saying, 'Let's have a look at your content, but we'll pick and choose, mate'." CRINGE NEW TRAILER This comes as mum-of-two Meghan teased a new trailer for her critically panned Netflix show. Footage showed the Duchess with a host of famous guests speaking about how she "loves finding new ways to show people she cares" ahead of the release of the second series of With Love, Meghan on August 26. The show's second series claims it will be "fun and heartwarming", with plethora of celebrity guests due to make their appearance. This includes model Chrissy Teigen, podcast pal Jamie Kern Lima, and Netflix Queer Eye star Tan France. Meghan can be seen laughing alongside guests at her luxury Montecito home in the trailer, even joking at the end about Prince Harry's lack of love for lobster. Speaking to Chef Andrés, she says: "You know who doesn't like lobster? My husband." In response, the chef light-heartedly retorts: "And you married him anyway?" In one cringey moment during the trailer, in which she is seen cooking and baking with celebrity friends, the Duchess of Sussex also says: "I love the idea of just spending time together... and finding new ways to show people you care." She adds: "There are easy ways to show up, lovingly." On top of Season 2 of With Love, Meghan - which will drop later this month - the couple will also film a "Holiday Celebration" Christmas special. The couple will also release a short film called "Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within" which will look at Uganda's Masaka region and the HIV/AIDS crisis there.
