Have your say on whether Harry and Meghan are over-sharing
They're dancing, bike-riding, bedtime-story-reading - and sharing it all with the world. In their most personal video yet, Meghan and Harry give fans a heart-melting look at family life with Archie and Lilibet - but is it sweet transparency or a royal case of TMI?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been letting us all in on a lot of their private life lately. The latest glimpse was a super heartfelt video on Instagram showing Harry being all kinds of adorable with Archie and Lilibet.
The caption read: 'The best. Happy Father's Day to our favourite guy,' and the video was packed with clips of Harry laughing, dancing, reading bedtime stories, and even teaching the kids how to ride bikes. It's the most we've ever seen of Harry as a dad - and it feels like a bit of a turning point. Especially since the couple recently revamped their comms team.
But as fascinating as these insights into their private life are, do you think Harry and Meghan have strayed a little too far into perhaps over-sharing? The latest post comes hot-on-the-heels of Meghan releasing a video from Princess Lilibet's 4th birthday bash at Disneyland just last week. The montage featured a clip of Archie, six, and Lili meeting Disney princess Elsa, from the film Frozen. Meghan wears a Minnie Mouse hat in some of the snaps featured in the video, while another image shows a two-tier Little Mermaid-themed birthday cake for Lili.
But wait - there's more. Meghan also shared a video of herself twerking while very pregnant with Lilibet. The clip showed her in a black maternity dress, bump on full display, lifting her skirt, throwing her hands in the air, and getting very into it. Meghan captioned it with: 'Four years ago today, this also happened,' noting both kids were a week overdue and spicy food and acupuncture just weren't cutting it. What do YOU think? Whether you found it hilarious, relatable, or a bit odd, it definitely got people talking. Some fans loved seeing this personal, human moment - but others weren't so keen. Royal commentator Jennie Bond called it 'utterly bizarre' and says King Charles would've been 'horrified' by it.
She said: "And women are perfectly entitled to do whatever they feel like to get through the waiting, and the pain. Giving birth is a serious business, and anything to lighten the mood is welcome.
"However - to share those scenes with the world is utterly bizarre and, in my view, takes away all the magic of the moment. I cannot imagine why she chose to release it. Maybe show it one day to your nearest and dearest— but to anyone and everyone who wants to click on it?"
It's definitely one of the more unconventional ways a royal has ever marked a birthday. So here's the question: are Harry and Meghan just trying to be open and honest about their lives - or are they oversharing a bit too much these days? What do you think? Is it a refreshing transparency fit for the 21st Century monarchy or is it straying into TMI territory?
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie isn't sure what to make of it. She previously told the Mirror: "I suppose Meghan is showing the children more on Instagram because she knows there is a public appetite for photos of them. But she's being very coy about allowing us to see what they really look like.
"That's fair enough, if she wants to protect their privacy - though you could certainly argue that there's a very fine line between using them to publicise her Instagram account and her determination to keep their family life private.
"With both children at school, she and Harry will obviously have a bit more time to pursue their various activities. Meghan seems to be ramping up her projects more and more, but I think they will both continue to put their family first - just like William and Catherine. And there's nothing wrong with that if you are lucky enough to be able to do so."

Newcastle Utd hero joins Sam Fender on stage in front of 50,000 fans
Fender told the crowd that his three-night run at St James' Park, seen by 150,000 fans, had been the 'best weekend of his life' Geordie superstar Sam Fender was joined on stage by his hero 'Big Dan Burn' for the last hometown gig of his world tour. Fender told the crowd that his three-night run at St James' Park, seen by 150,000 fans, had been the 'best weekend of his life'. For his final night, he had some special guests, including the Newcastle United and England star Dan Burn. The giant defender arrived with the Carabao Cup in his hands to a hero's welcome from the 50,000-strong crowd. He was a hero on Tyneside after scoring the Toon's opening goal in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool in March. Fender gave Burn, 33, a hug before the pair raised the trophy to cheers from the fans. Burn left the stage but then came back to say: "Thank you mum and dad" before he departed once more. There were then a number of special guests, including Fender's elder brother Liam on keyboards. The singer's former guitar teacher Phil Martin also made a guest appearance, and a random 17-year-old fan plucked from the audience. There was a montage of childhood photos of the band on the giant stage screen to mark Father's Day, including a snap of Fender with his dad Alan, an electrician turned music teacher who was a huge influence on his career. The North Shields born singer and Martin stood side by side for a cover of Thin Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back in Town". Easington Colliery Brass Band then appeared for 'Remember My Name' from the People Watching album, dedicated to the star's grandparents. At the end of the show, with a finale of fireworks and flames shooting through the night sky, Fender asked the crowd to donate to the charity Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres). The singer is supporting their work in Gaza, describing their medics as 'real life heroes'. He told the crowd that he could not believe it was his fifth show at St James, the home of Newcastle United. "I never thought that I would say that," he added. "I want to just to take that in. "Thank you for the best weekend of my life." His two shows in June, 2023, attracted around 100,000 fans and were credited with boosting the local economy by around £15m. Dan Burn made his Wembley cup final appearance and then had another dream come true when he was called up for England after getting some tips from the son of Jack Charlton. The People Watching Tour is moving to Silverstone on July 3, then the US, Canada and Australia. *

Romeo Beckham's ex Kim Turnbull breaks silence on Brooklyn feud and 'scapegoat lies'
Kim Turnbull has released a statement on social media after she was dragged into the ongoing Beckham family feud and she was said to have dated Brooklyn before he met Nicola Romeo Beckham's former flame Kim Turnbull has finally broken silence on her alleged romance with Brooklyn amid the ongoing family rift. Kim is reportedly at the centre of the feud that has seen Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz become distant from the rest of the clan. The 26-year-old model and DJ is rumoured to have been involved with Brooklyn prior to meeting billionaire heiress Nicola, 30, as they used to be pals. After enduring weeks of speculation concerning her past with Brooklyn, Kim declared she was "embarrassed by the lies" and felt compelled to break her silence. As Romeo's alleged partner, Kim was a fixture in the Beckham's close-knit circle, reports the Mirror, even attending David's 50th birthday bash which Brooklyn and Nicola notably skipped. This month however marked the end of Romeo and Kim's contentious relationship. In a bold move, Kim addressed the family turmoil that has overshadowed the news of David's knighthood this weekend, as his eldest son remains aloof from the celebration. Kim took to Instagram to voice her frustration: "I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on." She added firmly: "I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative." Addressing speculation about a romantic link with Brooklyn, Kim stated: "I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. "I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation and set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved." Kim was recently thrust into the limelight amid rumours surrounding the Beckham family, with rumours suggesting Brooklyn had swirling doubts over her intentions towards his brother Romeo. Rumours had circulated that Brooklyn and Kim shared a teenage romance, yet Cruz Beckham refuted these claims in a recently removed Instagram post, followed now by Kim's own denial. The gossip mill began after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola were notably absent from David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, leading to conversations that Brooklyn believed his parents favoured Romeo, drawing Kim into the controversy. Reportedly after seven months, Kim's liaison with Romeo waned three weeks subsequent to David reaching his milestone birthday. Kim's decisive words come following Brooklyn's pointed omission of his father on Father's Day. The newly knighted David honoured his offspring, Romeo, Cruz and Harper with an affectionate social media post, which seemed to allude to strained relations with Brooklyn. Captioning the photo, he remarked: "My most important and favourite job in life is being a dad... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what.. "Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine." He also posted a picture with Brooklyn, enjoying a glass of red wine, captioned: "I love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham." However, Brooklyn did not acknowledge his father on this special day, maintaining his silence. Nicola also omitted any mention of her father-in-law but did honour her own dad. On Instagram, alongside a photo with her father, she penned: "Happy Father's Day to the greatest dad in the world. I am so lucky to be your daughter I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for always being my constant support. I love you beyond words. Happy Father's Day dad."

Lily Allen seen snogging TV's James Norton during ‘first date' at festival leaving onlookers stunned
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CLEAN-living Lily Allen steers clear of drink and drugs these days — so she was on her best behaviour for Lido Festival at the weekend. But she still found her own kind of high once the event finished, by snogging actor James Norton backstage. Now I have learned that they were in the mood to celebrate and headed to a backstage compound after the show, where Charli and other pals let their hair down. It doesn't sound like they had eyes for anyone else, though. One onlooker told me: 'James and Lily looked very into each other and they were snogging backstage. 'We were all quite surprised to see them there together, let alone kissing. 'I don't think they've even known each other that long, but it was a fun hang-out backstage and they got taken away by the vibe.' Meanwhile, Paul Mescal and Harris Dickinson, who will play Paul McCartney and John Lennon in the upcoming Beatles biopics, were also at the post-show party. And while Lily — who is believed to have met James on celebrity dating app Raya — stuck to the zero per cent beers, not everyone did. One fellow partygoer told me that a famous face, whose blushes I will spare here, took things way too far and ended up vomiting in front of several guests. Later on, Lily headed home riding a Lime bike, with her journey captured on Instagram by Saltburn actor Archie Madekwe. Lily Allen reveals secret boob job after split with Stranger Things star David Harbour - and surgery she wants done next Lily being in good spirits again is nice to see, because she has not had an easy time of it. The actress and singer, who splits her time between the UK and New York, broke up with her husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour, at the end of last year. But last week on her Miss Me podcast, she said: 'I think I'm sort of turning a corner. 'I'm being much more active. I'm out and about and doing stuff.'
