CAIRO/DAKAR, July 25 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty presented Friday a replica of the mummy and coffin of King Tutankhamun to the Museum of Black Civilizations in Senegal's Dakar.
Abdelatty presented the gift during a ceremony to commemorating the 65th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Egypt and Senegal, in the presence of Senegal's Minister for Youth, Sports and Culture, Khady Diène Gaye.
In his remarks at the event, Abdelatty applauded the robust historical ties between Egypt and Senegal, describing the gift as an expression of mutual appreciation and shared commitment to promoting cultural and cross-civilization exchange between the peoples of Africa.
