AZ Martinez admits shortcomings as Ralph De Leon apologizes, says she'll fight for River Joseph

GMA Networka day ago

Ralph De Leon finally mustered up the courage to speak with AZ Martinez after nominating her and her duo River Joseph during the first ever face-to-face nominations on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."
Wednesday's episode showed Ralph apologizing to his close friend AZ about the points he and his duo Will Ashley gave.
'I just wanna say sorry, first of all, kasi I know you trusted me. 'Yung mga kwento mo, mga rants mo about what you were thinking about, what you were worrying about. I just want to apologize, that's the reason we used kanina to give you guys the points,' he said.
'I completely understand if you feel betrayed, if you feel that you can't trust me anymore,' he added.
After hearing Ralph's side, AZ said that she is OK and that she understood the reason behind their decision to nominate them.
'Totoo naman din 'yung mga sinabi mo,' she said.
Despite this, AZ said that it was painful to hear, especially that it came from the people who she trusted inside the house.
'I can't lie. It was too painful. I really thought that you were the one who really understood me as part na 'yan. And I did not expect na you will use it against me. We talked about it eh. Ang sakit,' she said.
She also acknowledged her own shortcomings, and said that she is fighting for her duo River as she was the reason why they got nominated.
'I'm fighting this for [River]. Ako 'yung reason bakit nominated siya. River doesn't deserve this,' she said.
As things settled between them, AZ and Ralph did their friendship handshake with the latter giving her a pep talk.
"Say you're not giving up this week," Ralph said.
"I won't give up this week," AZ replied. "It's OK. Don't worry about it. I'm just happy that you and [Will] are safe."
Ralph and Will gave the AZ-River duo one point during Monday's nomination night, citing AZ's emotional behavior as the reason for their decision.
Shortly after the nomination, Ralph cried to Kuya and said that he felt guilty for nominating her.
Aside from AZ-River, other duos nominated this week are DusBi (Dustin and Bianca), AzVer (AZ and River), and ShuKla (Shuvee and Klarisse).

Barbie Forteza leads fun run on 'Pinoy Big Brother'

Barbie Forteza had a fun and active task for the 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' housemates during her time as a houseguest. As seen in Thursday's episode, the Sparkle star led the PBB Collab Fun Run. The duos had to run 25 laps around the pool. After this, they would get five balls, each amounting to P20,000. The winning duo would give P100,000 to their chosen charity. The Kapuso Primetime Princess taught the housemates how to stretch before the run. Barbie also ran each lap with all the duos. Ralph De Leon said, 'It was very contagious how happy she made everyone feel, on how she really tried lifting everyone up.' Barbie also praised the duos for how they support each other. After the activity, Barbie said, 'Nakakatuwa dahil naipamahagi ko 'yung hobby ko—na na-e-enjoy kong gawin—sa kanila, na nakapag-bonding kami dahil sa pagtakbo, tapos nakatulong pa kami.' Kuya congratulated the duos and Barbie for a successful task, and they all received income for their chosen charity. 'Malaking bagay na nagkaroon ng ganitong task, na alam nila na sa chosen foundation nila mapupunta 'yung mga pinagpaguran nila, mga itinakbo nila,' Barbie said. The actress added that the task also helped the housemates' mindsets to not just compete within themselves, but 'mas malaki ang ibig sabihin ng kanilang pananatili dito.' Barbie is set to star in the film 'P77' and the series 'Beauty Empire.' Heart Evangelista touched after housemates send her off with fashion show

Heart Evangelista left the "Pinoy Big Brother" house with a grateful heart after the male housemates staged a fashion show to end her guesting. On Thursday's episode, Kuya asked River Joseph about what he was willing to do to grant Heart's request for ice cream. River said he was willing to do anything, so Kuya asked him to cooperate with his fellow boys to do something special for Heart's exit. The Kapamilya actor then gathered the boys in their room to make a plan as the girls entertained Heart in the garden. They decided to hold a fashion show and write letters of appreciation for the Global Fashion Icon. When Heart and the girls returned to the living room, the boys began the show, coming out of their room one by one and walking down the "runway." Heart and the girls clapped and cheered for them and the outfits they put together: scarves on their necks, shawls around their heads, and their best jackets. River, who confessed to Kuya that he had a crush on Heart during his childhood, took out flowers from his inside his jacket and handed it to the Kapuso star. After the successful task, Kuya gave their reward as promised: ice cream, which they enjoyed together before Heart left the house. "They told me that I made them happy. I just wanna say that they made me happy so much. Because sometimes when you're very busy, you get lonely and you need a pause and they were just such a breath of fresh air," she told Kuya. Heart got emotional and said she had a wonderful time inside the PBB house. "Siguro dahil busy din ako, dahil busy din siguro 'yung mga ibang mahal ko sa buhay, minsan nalulungkot din po ako sa bahay and today was my free day and when they told me to come and I had to work, I did what I did to work but it felt like a free day and I felt like I had friends. A lot of friends," she said. After Heart's exit, Barbie Forteza was the next to enter the PBB house as a guest.
