More Oasis tickets to be released before UK tour, band says
The '90s giants announced they would be reuniting for a run of stadium shows in 2025 late last year.
Fans scrambled to get tickets for the Live '25 tour, which will be the first time since 2009 that brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will reunite on stage as Oasis.
With thousands of fans left disappointed by not getting tickets, Oasis has now revealed that more may be sold.

A statement shared on social media by the band reads: "As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine-tuned.
"These final production releases will happen over the coming days.
"If you are an Oasismynet member, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from your regular Oasismynet or Ticketmaster correspondence address.
"Please double-check the email is from the correct account before following links or sharing any purchase information."
An email from Oasis, shared by a fan, reads: "A limited amount of production release tickets have been made available for Oasis Live 25 in Cardiff, Manchester and Edinburgh.
"You have been selected to receive a code for a limited ticket release taking place tomorrow, Thursday 26th June, at 8am BST.
"You have been selected as you were identified as a loyal fan who does not already have tickets for any Oasis Live '25 date."

It reveals that codes have a ticket limit of four and are only valid for 24 hours.
Thousands of fans spent hours online last year in the hope of securing tickets to see the Oasis reunion shows.
Limited tickets have been appearing on Ticketmaster or Twickets, and continue to do so.
Fans have been previously warned that these two sites are the only place to buy resale tickets.
Noel and Liam Gallagher announced last year they had put their acrimonious split behind them, confirming Oasis' long-awaited reunion after 15 years.
Making the announcement, the brothers said: 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."
Oasis will be bringing its Live '25 tour to venues across the UK during July, August and September, including in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester and London.
A post shared by Oasis (@oasis)
The tour begins on July 4 in Cardiff, with the full list of dates as follows:
Oasis will also perform two shows at Croke Park in Dublin on August 16 and 17, while also taking their tour overseas to the likes of Australia, Canada and the US.

Liam Payne's sister honours brother's last TV appearance with heartfelt tribute
Liam Payne's sister Ruth has shared her 'immeasurable pride' over his appearance on Netflix's latest show Building the Band, which he filmed months before his tragic passing Liam Payne's sister Ruth shared her "immeasurable pride" after seeing her late brother in his final TV appearance. The late One Direction star, who tragically died at age 31 last year after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina, appears as a judge in the upcoming Netflix series Building the Band. His older sister Ruth Gibbins said she was "heartbroken" that Liam wouldn't get the opportunity to see himself on the show. Ruth took to Instagram to share the tribute, writing: "I didn't know whether to share this, but it felt odd when I've raved about Liam's work and achievements for the past 15 years." "I'm heartbroken he never got the chance to see how brilliant he is in this show. He knew he had done a good job, we all told him this when we were at filming, but watching it back, wow!". "You're a star Liam, you always were and always will be. There are a range of emotions I felt watching this, but one of the main ones is immeasurable pride, always. Miss you more every day," she continued. Building the Band premiers on Netflix on July 9, with presenter AJ McLean promising the series is "unlike anything you have ever seen before". The Backstreet Boys singer previously stated: "Today's most talented singers in the world will audition for each other and choose their own bandmates before ever seeing them. "Our judge and mentor Nicole Scherzinger, and guest judges Kelly Rowland and the late Liam Payne, are from some of the biggest bands of all time. This show is all about one word: chemistry. And believe me: in a band, you really need some good chemistry." Liam completed filming for the show - where singers try to form a band while remaining in separate booths, unable to see one another - several months before his tragic passing last October, the Mirror reports. The synopsis for the series reads: "All they [the contestants] have to go on is musical compatibility, connection, chemistry and merit ... with incredible performances, compelling drama, and one big goal - to find the next great music band - the stage is set for an unforgettable experience." Meanwhile, Liam's friend DJ Fat Tony recently revealed that he attempted to "help" the singer with his addiction "demons." Speaking to The Times Magazine, the 59-year-old DJ - a recovering addict who has been sober for 18 years - shared: "I tried to help Liam Payne with his demons. He was incredible - a really close friend." "There were so many amazing times where he got clean and sober. Not everyone makes it. It's a real shame what happened, falling off the balcony. I'm devastated by it," he shared. "Addiction is a big part of our industry. People see being sober and clean as more problematic than being drunk and high. They'll help you on that drink and drug journey, but not on the sober journey."

Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg Mathews shares sweet throwback snap of them together as Oasis prepare for first live shows in 16 years
Noel Gallagher 's ex-wife Meg Mathews has shared a sweet throwback snap of them together, ahead of Oasis' reunion tour. The Live '25 tour will be their first since the band's acrimonious implosion and subsequent disbandment during the ill-fated Dig Out Your Soul tour in 2009. Addressing the live shows, Noel's supportive ex reminisced on Noel preparing for his first ever gig with the band. Alongside a snap of the pair on holiday, she penned: 'Noel here getting ready for the first Gig… A week tomorrow Oasis are back. 'In 1996 During their legendary Knebworth performances August 10–11, they launched huge inflatable footballs into the audience as part of their upbeat intro before launching into songs like Columbia, Acquiesce, and Supersonic.' Meg met Noel Gallagher in 1994 in London through her roommate MTV presenter Rebecca de Ruvo. Noel was dating Rebecca at the time, however, he eventually left her for Meg. The former couple, who share daughter Anais, went on to tie the knot in June 1997 in Las Vegas. However, their marriage was short-lived as they divorced just four years later. It comes after Oasis revealed they are releasing more tickets ahead of their eagerly anticipated reunion tour this summer. The iconic Britpop band have reunited for a series of stadium shows across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan , South Korea and North, Central and South America, commencing at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4. A statement posted to the band's official website on Wednesday reads: 'As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine tuned. 'These final production releases will happen over the coming days.' Following their initial release, thousands of fans waited for hours in virtual queues to get their hands on highly coveted tickets for the band's reunion shows, only to find that prices had jumped in a 'dynamic pricing' scheme. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has since called for Ticketmaster to change how it labels tickets and informs customers. The CMA launched an investigation into Ticketmaster in September to examine if it had engaged in 'unfair commercial practices', whether fans were given 'clear and timely' information to explain tickets could be subject to 'dynamic pricing', and if people were put under pressure to buy tickets within a short period of time. The watchdog said it was concerned that Ticketmaster, which sold more than 900,000 tickets for the Oasis gigs, may have breached consumer protection law. Downing Street has said that 'everyone deserves a fair shot at getting tickets' for music and sport events. Ticketmaster UK said in a statement that it tries to provide a 'simple, transparent and consumer-friendly' experience. Certain tickets for shows were labelled as 'platinum' and sold for nearly 2.5 times more than the standard price. However, the company did not explain these tickets do not come with any additional benefits and are located in the same area of the stadium. The CMA said this risked consumers being mislead into thinking the platinum tickets were better. Another concern listed by the watchdog was that two categories of standing tickets were listed at different prices, with the cheaper tickets sold first before the more expensive ones were released. This caused fans to wait in long queues without realising they would have to pay a higher price than expected, the CMA added. Since the opening of the investigation, Ticketmaster has made changes to some aspects of its ticket sales process, but the CMA does not currently consider these changes are sufficient to address its concerns. Hayley Fletcher, Interim Senior Director of Consumer Protection at the CMA, said: 'Fans reported problems when buying Oasis tickets from Ticketmaster and we decided those concerns warranted investigation. 'We're concerned that Oasis fans didn't get the information they needed or may have been misled into buying tickets they thought were better than they were. 'All ticketing websites should check they are complying with the law and treating their customers fairly. When businesses get it right, consumers benefit – and that's the best outcome for everyone.' Oasis last year blamed its management for the dynamic pricing fiasco. The band said it was 'not aware' the system would be used and that the decision was instead made during meetings between Ticketmaster, promoters and management. This is despite the fact that Debbie Gwyther, 40, the girlfriend of frontman Liam, manages him. A statement by the band said: 'As for the well reported complaints many buyers had over the operation of dynamic ticketing: it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used. 'While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band's management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations. 'All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.' In a statement, a spokesman for Ticketmaster UK said: 'At Ticketmaster, we strive to provide the best ticketing platform through a simple, transparent and consumer-friendly experience. We welcome the CMA's input in helping make the industry even better for fans.'
