The mashup electrified the crowd, fusing the unique styles of two generations of pop royalty.
Who wants to rock with Jennie? Apparently, Jennifer Lopez does. The American pop icon surprised and delighted fans when she gave a special shoutout to BLACKPINK's Jennie during her performance at the 2025 World Pride Music Festival, held in Washington, D.C., on June 6 as part of the annual Pride Month celebrations.
The highlight of the night came when JLo debuted a high-energy remix, seamlessly blending Jennie's chart-topping hit Like Jennie with her own early-2000s anthem, Jenny from the Block. The mashup electrified the crowd, fusing the unique styles of two generations of pop royalty. Fans were quick to celebrate the iconic crossover, with social media buzzing over the unexpected and unforgettable moment.
This particular part of the 55-year-old's performance has gone viral on the internet, and many are loving the new remix, especially Jennie's fans. Taking to X, a fan shared a clip of JLo's performance to Like Jennie, and in no time, fans flocked in to express their excitement and hoped for an on-stage collaboration between the two pop stars.

Well, looks like Blinks aren't the only ones who are obsessed with Like Jennie. Previously, Jennifer has shown her love for Jennie's chartbuster song from her first studio album, Ruby, which was released in March. The On The Floor singer used Like Jennie as the background music for a few of her Instagram posts, one of which dates back to May 21. In a post titled '36 hours in NY," JLo used Like Jennie as the background score. Meanwhile, in another post, which featured some of the memorable moments from her appearance at the 2025 Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah, Jennifer used Like Jennie as the background music.

Instagram will soon let you rearrange your profile grid the way you want
Meta-owned social media platform Instagram announced on Thursday, June 12, that it will soon allow users to 're-order the posts' on their grid, giving them more options over how and where their content shows up on their profile. The announcement does not come as a surprise, as Instagram head Adam Mosseri said earlier this year in January that the platform was looking for a way to make profile grids customisable. Instagram was previously spotted working on the feature back in 2022, but eventually ended up scrapping the idea for some time. Until now, all posts on a profile appear in a chronological order, and the only way to make older posts appear at the top of the profile is to pin them. But with the upcoming update, users will be able to make their profiles more aesthetically pleasing and highlight certain content. In a blog post, Mosseri also said that they are testing a new feature that lets users quietly post to their profile 'without broadcasting it to everyone's feeds.' The platform is also expanding Trial Reels to everyone on the platform. Introduced for creators in December last year, Trial Reels enable creators to try 'content that's outside of their niche.' These reels are not visible to a creator's followers but instead show up for random people. Instagram says 40 per cent of creators who used the feature started posting reels more often and saw an 80 per cent uptick in reels reach from non-followers. As for Stories, Instagram will soon get a Rosalia font inspired by her handwriting. Also, Instagram's new Spotify integration allows users to quickly share music they are listening to in real time to Notes. The company also announced that it is launching Drafts, an initiative that will help creators by providing financial support, co-ideation, connections, collaboration opportunities and more.
