A Disappointing Update On The ‘Bridgerton' Season 4 Release Date
We know that Bridgerton season 4 will release in 2026, allegedly. But we now have an update that reinforces just how long the wait has been and will continue to be.
The good news is that Netflix has just shared that season 4 of Bridgerton has wrapped filming as of today. The bad news is how long of a wait there is still to come and how long the gaps between these seasons still are.
So, if filming has wrapped now, which we can round up to the beginning of July, we can use past data to figure out when Bridgerton season 4 is actually going to be released. And it's a while yet.
Bridgerton season 3 wrapped filming in March 2023 and stayed in post-production until May 24, 14 months later. So, if season 4 wrapped now, 14 months from the beginning of July would be the beginning of September 2026.
Given that season 3 of Bridgerton season 3 aired in May 2024, that makes this a gap of two years and five months between seasons. We could scale down a few months maybe if we assume season 3 was interrupted by strikes to some degree, but it's still over two years.
Previously, showrunner Jess Brownell has said outright that there is just no way around this:
She may have said they're trying to speed things up, but given the data we've seen here, that does not appear to be happening unless they can dramatically increase their production schedule. And the idea that shows have to be filmed and edited and dubbed and written (with source material to reference) is not exactly something that other shows don't also have to deal with. But I suppose that's why 1.5-3 years is the new norm.
Bridgerton season 4
There are eight books in the Bridgerton series, and if this large gap remains, it will be the mid-to-late 2030s before the show finishes the source material in full. But given how well it performs, it stands to reason that Netflix has every reason to see it through to the end. Here's the synopsis for season 4 via Netflix:
It remains to be seen whether Bridgerton season 4 will be broken up into two parts like season 3. Fans are sick of that, but it's a coinflip whether or not Netflix keeps doing it with its big shows currently. My guess would be yes. See you this fall. Sorry, next fall.

The Punisher and Spider-Man Face Off in New SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Set Photos — GeekTyrant
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has officially wrapped filming in Glasgow, Scotland, and a new batch of set photos might be the most interesting yet. Not only do we get more comic-accurate poses from Spidey, but there's also a tense moment that teases a fiery clash between the wall-crawler and Frank Castle himself. Among the final photos, the most attention-grabbing shot shows Spider-Man perched on the hood of The Punisher's Battle Van while Frank Castle, gun drawn, sits behind the wheel. While it's unclear if that's actually Jon Bernthal in the driver's seat or a stand-in, the imagery is straight out of the comics and confirms that these two vigilantes are not going to be allies right away. These Glasgow scenes, doubling for New York City, offer a glimpse of the gritty street-level vibe director Destin Daniel Cretton seems to be aiming for. Spidey's suit looks fantastic, and the photos really show off the practical approach this film is taking. Tom Holland is clearly hyped about returning to the role. Talking about his first day on set, he shared: "I feel good, man. It's day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man. You know, it's funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It's also the first time we've ever had fans on set for day one, so it's really exciting to share this with them." He added: "Now, we're really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we're starting in Glasgow and we're gonna use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set-piece that we're putting together. So it's gonna feel like making [2017's] [Spider-Man: Homecoming] again." And he finished with: "It's been such a long time since I've done it, it's gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we're putting together." With The Punisher now part of the story, fans can expect some hard-hitting moral conflict mixed into the classic superhero action. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being helmed by Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton, with a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Alongside Holland and Bernthal, the cast features Mark Ruffalo, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, and Liza Colón-Zayas. The film is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, and while shooting is expected to continue elsewhere in Europe, it's unclear if we'll get more behind-the-scenes looks. Either way, this final glimpse from Glasgow has definitely raised the hype.

A Fake Musical Act Joins BTS With A Major Chart Win
In the span of only a few weeks, Netflix's animated film KPop Demon Hunters has become not only one of the platform's most successful titles, but a shockingly successful new franchise in the music world. The film's corresponding soundtrack grows in terms of total consumption every week, and the original songs penned for the K-pop musical have reached beyond those who identify as fans of the South Korean musical genre and have now hit the ears of the American public at large. This week, KPop Demon Hunters manages a historic feat on one of Billboard's most important tallies — one which helps even a fictitious group stand apart as incredibly successful. 'Golden' Hits No. 1 on the Hot 100 The No. 1 song in America at the moment is 'Golden,' featured in KPop Demon Hunters. The track is credited to the made-up girl group Huntr/x, which was created for the movie. Also named on the tune are the three actual human vocalists who voiced the smash, Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. Less than two months into its time on the Hot 100, 'Golden' lifts from No. 2 to No. 1, and in doing so makes history. 'Golden' is one of fewer than 10 K-pop tracks to rule the Hot 100. Before this frame, no girl group from that genre had ever led the charge, nor any female soloist in the K-pop space. BTS, Jimin and Jung Kook While a handful of different credited acts from the K-pop sphere have reached No. 1, they're all connected. BTS was the first K-pop name to reach the highest rung on the Hot 100. The septet — easily the biggest in the history of the style — has racked up half a dozen champions, including 'Dynamite,' 'Butter,' 'Permission to Dance,' 'Life Goes On,' as well as 'Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat),' a collaboration with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, and 'My Universe,' a duet with Coldplay. Two members of BTS have also hit No. 1 on their own. First came Jimin, with 'Like Crazy,' and then months later, Jung Kook repeated the showing alongside rapper Latto with 'Seven.' Both ruled in 2023 with solo smashes. 'Golden' Remains a Sales and Streaming Win The Hot 100 is compiled using a methodology that blends sales, streams, and radio airplay to show which songs are being consumed at the greatest levels throughout the United States. 'Golden' is steady at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs tally, and this frame it jumps from No. 5 to No. 3 on the Digital Song Sales list, hitting a new high point. Luminate reports that in the past tracking week in America, 'Golden' sold a little more than 6,200 copies, up 35% from the period prior. 'Golden' Grows at American Radio The KPop Demon Hunters track also once again leads both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as it has now ranked as the biggest song in the world on and off for several frames. In America, the tune is quickly growing at radio, although it has yet to land on Billboard's Radio Songs tally. This frame, in its third turn on the Pop Airplay chart, 'Golden' rockets from No. 28 to No. 20. At the same time, it opens at No. 37 on the Adult Pop Airplay list.
