Bruce Willis is ringing in a new decade with his family.
The Hollywood star and ex-wife Demi Moore's eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, gave fans a welcome update on her father's health as he turned 70 on Wednesday.
During an Q&A with fans on social media, Rumer, 36, opened up about her father's ongoing bout with frontotemporal dementia.
In an Instagram Story, the 'House Bunny' alum was asked how her famous dad is doing, to which she responded, 'He's doing great, thank you for asking.'
'It is actually his 70th birthday tomorrow so please wish my papa a big happy birthday,' she said on Tuesday.
The father of five shares daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout with ex-wife Demi Moore — to whom he was married from 1987 to 2000.
He also shares daughters Mabel and Evelyn with his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.
Willis' family first announced the 'Die Hard' star's diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia, which can cause communication difficulties, in 2023.
The entire crew has been vocal about dealing with the family patriarch's diagnosis.
'You know, I've said this before. The disease is what the disease is. And I think you have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is,' Moore, 62, said in October at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival. 'But for where he's at, he is stable.'
'What I always encourage is to just meet them where they're at. When you're holding on to what was, I think it's a losing game,' the actress added. 'But when you show up to meet them where they're at, there is great beauty and sweetness.'
'And being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it,' Moore said of spending time with her ex-husband. 'And being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it,' Moore reflected about spending time with Willis.
In February, Rumer also gave fans an update on her dad's health.
'He's doing great,' she expressed while on the U.K. chat show 'Loose Women' at the time, admitting she is 'grateful' for growing up with Willis and Moore as parents.
'The thing I'm most grateful for is that even when they split up, they created such a beautiful foundation of prioritizing my sisters and I, that I never felt like I had to choose — they never played against each other,' she recalled of the exes, who divorced in 2000.
'We were a family and we still are very much a family, no matter what,' Rumer shared.
In 2009, Willis tied the knot with Emma, 46. She has remained by the retired actor's side since his health diagnosis.
The "Make Time Wellness" founder appeared on 'Today' in 2023 and told then co-anchor Hoda Kotb that her husband may or may not know what was happening.
'It's hard to know,' Emma said through tears. 'It's hard to know.'
'What I'm learning is that dementia is hard,' she continued. 'It's hard on the person diagnosed. It's also hard on the family. And that is no different for Bruce, or myself, or our girls. When they say that this is a family disease, it really is.'
Before his diagnosis, Willis had been working as a leading man in Hollywood after landing the television series 'Moonlighting' in 1985.
During the five-season drama, the actor won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy.
In 1987, Willis starred in his first credited feature film 'Blind Date,' opposite Kim Basinger and John Larroquette.
By 1988, the Hollywood icon played real-life cowboy actor Tom Mix in 'Sunset' and brought the beloved action movie 'Die Hard' to life.
Willis went on to star in four sequels of the franchise as John McClane over the next two decades.

"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" TV Series in Works
Yara Sameh A TV version of 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' is in the works at Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the book of the same name by Wang Dulu, which is part of the so-called Crane Iron Pentalogy. The official logline for the project states: 'Amidst stunning landscapes and spectacular action, 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' follows Shu Lien and Mu Bai, two star-crossed warriors, as they struggle between forbidden love and the pull of modernity — caught between preserving their way of life or embracing a future together.' Jason Ning is writing and executive producing the adaptation, with Ron D. Moore serving as executive producer along with Maril Davis via Tall Ship Productions. Johnny Levin, Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment, and Hong Wang and Qin Wang of the Wang Dulu Estate also executive produce. Ying Lou is co-executive producing. Sony Pictures Television, where both Ning and Moore are under overall deals, will produce. 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' was originally published between 1941 and 1942. The other books in the series are: 'Crane Startles Kunlun,' Precious Sword, Golden Hairpin,' 'Sword Force, Pearl Shine,' and 'Iron Knight, Silver Vase.' 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' has previously been adapted for the screen numerous times, perhaps most famously by Ang Lee for the 2000 film of the same name. It proved to be a box office and critical smash, grabbing over $200 million at the global box office and earning 10 Academy Award nominations. It was reported at the time Ning signed his overall deal in 2023 that he would begin working on a series version of the book. Ning's other credits include 'The Brothers Sun,' 'Mrs. Davis,' 'Lucifer,' and 'The Expanse.' He is repped by UTA, Gotham Group and Yorn Levine. For Moore, this is the second big IP-driven series he is developing at Prime Video under his new overall deal with Sony. It was reported in October 2024 that Moore had boarded the streamer's series take on the popular video game 'God of War' as showrunner. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 .. Bruce Willis Shakes Hands with L.A. Wildfires First Responders in Rare Appearance
Bruce Willis thanked first responders involved in tackling the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires in a rare outing. The veteran actor — who is battling dementia — was seen shaking hands and chatting with police officers in an Instagram video posted Thursday by his wife, Emma Heming. 'Spotting a first responder, Bruce never missed a chance to show his gratitude with a heartfelt handshake and a 'thank you for your service,'' Heming, 46, captioned the black-and-white footage. She added that 'yesterday was no different ❤️🤍💙.' In the clip, which was set to the tune of Led Zeppelin's 'Going to California,' Willis, 69, sported a light-colored corduroy jacket and dark pants, which he paired with a New York Yankees baseball cap. Tallulah Willis — his youngest daughter with his first wife, Demi Moore — commented beneath the upload, 'This makes my heart so freaking full.' The actor's family announced his aphasia diagnosis in March 2022, simultaneously lamenting that he would be 'stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.' Aphasia can affect a person's ability to speak, write and understand language, both verbal and written, and it typically occurs after a stroke or a head injury. Though Bruce's loved ones did not reveal the cause of his aphasia, he sustained various on-set injuries throughout his lengthy career. In February 2023, the 'Die Hard' star's family revealed he had received the 'cruel' diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. 'While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,' they shared at the time via the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration's website. 'FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone. For people under 60, FTD is the most common form of dementia, and because getting the diagnosis can take years, FTD is likely much more prevalent than we know,' they explained. 'Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce's condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research.' The statement — which was signed by Heming, Moore and all five of Bruce's daughters — made sure to note that if the patriarch 'could' respond to his situation, he would want to help spread awareness and bring 'global attention and connectedness' to others suffering from the 'debilitating disease.' The 'Pulp Fiction' star and Heming — who married in March 2009 — are parents to Mabel Willis, 12, and Evelyn Willis, 10, while he and Moore, 62, share Rumer Willis, 36, and Scout Willis, 33, in addition to Tallulah, 30. The Willis clan lives in LA, where two major blazes — the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire — continue to burn. As of Thursday, the fires — which sparked on January 7 — had killed at least 25 people and demolished more than 40,000 acres.
