Corrie's Abi makes her choice in early ITVX release after series of shocks

This article contains spoilers for tonight's Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX.
Abi Webster (Sally Carman) experienced a rollercoaster of emotions in tonight's Coronation Street as she was hit by shock after shock.
Things got off to a bumpy start when she headed into the Rovers with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), and immediately bumped into the one person he had told her to stay away from: Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
With Abi refusing to give him the attention he was after, Carl fixed his sights on Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), which had the desired effect of making Abi jealous.
So much so, that after announcing that Kevin was now cancer free to the Rovers locals, she paid Carl a visit in his hotel room to ensure that Tracy hadn't joined him.
Of course, one thing led to another and the pair ended up under the covers in romantic bliss – until Abi made a horrifying discovery.
After seeing a text from Carl's fellow con-artist Fiona, Abi was horrified to learn that Carl had been using the garage as a base for his MOT scams.
Having stormed home, Abi faced more turmoil when she was blindsided by the announcement that Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) had booked a family holiday.
As soon as Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) was out of earshot, Abi launched into Kevin for putting her in such an awkward position, and making it almost impossible to back out.
Demanding that Kevin tell the kids she will have to stay behind and work, Abi insisted that Kevin and Carl were as bad as each other, before coming clean to Kev about Carl's MOT scam.
However, she was absolutely furious to discover that Kevin already knew about Carl's dodgy dealings, and was refusing to go to the police.
As she attempted to cool off after the row, Abi was approached by Debbie, who revealed that she had decided to give Kevin another chance, before urging Abi to do the same.
It seemed that Debbie had convinced her, as Abi told Kevin that she would go on holiday with them after all, before heading to Carl's hotel to break things off with him. More Trending
However, she faced a further shock when she discovered that Kevin had been covering for Carl in exchange for him keeping quiet about his cancer lie.
With the truth out in the open, Abi and Carl locked lips once again.

Coronation Street favourite will make a sensational return to the show as new Rovers Return landlord... as ITV strike back after EastEnders reinstated Kat Slater and Alfie Moon at the Queen Vic

Coronation Street bosses have taken action to ensure the show's infamous pub isn't outshone by EastEnders' reinstatement of Kat and Alfie Moon at the Vic. In a bid to ensure that soap fans' eyes are also on the Rovers Return, they have brought back Catherine Tyldesley, 41, (AKA Eva Price) as the pub's new sexy landlady. She will not be alone in catering to the drinking needs of Weatherfield and will be joined by Aaron McCusker, 46, who will play her new husband. An insider told The Sun: 'Corrie bosses were never going to take EastEnders ' shrewd decision to reinstate Kat and Alfie at the Vic lying down. 'So they took their time looking for the perfect actor to play her husband to Eva as she makes her return to Corrie as the new boss of the Rovers. 'When Aaron walked in, and once paired with Catherine, bosses knew they had the perfect partnership to run the soap's iconic pub.' Describing the pair's chemistry as 'electric', the insider noted that Aaron will bring his Irish charm to the pub as the pair put on a 'happy and loved-up' display. However, despite having all the friendliness associated with the Irish, the insider stressed that Aaron is not a character to be messed with. They added: 'It's the start of an exciting new chapter in the pub's history.' In case your memory needs refreshing, Cath left the show back in 2018 to pursue other acting opportunities and bosses have reportedly been trying to convince her to return for years. While Aaron is a newbie to the cobbles, fans might recognise him from the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, where he played Freddie Mercury's partner, Jim Hutton. The actor also made a name for himself in Shameless as Jamie Maguire. News of the latest change on the cobblestones comes after it was announced that the show had been pulling in record viewers after making one recent change. The change took place in October 2024, when the long-running show became available to view on ITVX from 7am on the day of broadcast. Describing the pair's chemistry as 'electric', the insider noted that Aaron will bring his Irish charm to the pub as the pair put on a 'happy and loved-up' display This meant that soap fans could either chose to tune in early or watch their favourite soaps at a time that better suits them. The decision to make the change came after BBC soap East Enders made a similar switch to iPlayer a few years ago. Following the change, both Corrie and Emmerdale, which also made the switch, have enjoyed a record 124 million streams in 2025's first quarter. This meant that there have been an impressive one billion streams on ITVX so far this year. To put the change into context, compared to this time last year, soap viewing has increased by 35 percent. ITV's Managing Director of Media and Entertainment Kevin Lygo said: 'We have totally transformed our streaming offer with ITVX over the past couple of years. 'All our teams internally, alongside the best producers in the business, have helped deliver these brilliant numbers, by producing, promoting and delivering this fantastic content to audiences to stream.'

ITV Coronation Street fans 'work out' who has Logan 'killed' after brutal exit

Viewers think they know what really happened to Logan Radcliffe and who had him 'attacked' amid speculation he's been killed off after his exit aired On Friday's episode of Coronation Street, fears for Logan's life mounted after he appeared to be attacked following a revealing conversation with Carla Connor during a prison visit. ‌ The villain seemed to have divulged too much information to Carla, and shortly after a fellow inmate cautioned him about being overly talkative. A visibly shaken Logan protested his innocence as the cell door shut, hinting at an imminent assault. ‌ It comes as actor Harry Lowbridge announced his departure from the ITV soap, having wrapped filming his final scenes. This led viewers to speculate that Logan had met a grim fate in the cell, possibly orchestrated by someone wanting to silence him after his mention of a mysterious figure named Tia Wardley. ‌ Carla had been seeking clarity on the circumstances surrounding her partner Lisa Swain 's late wife Becky Swain's death. Lisa found herself unable to move on, plagued by uncertainties regarding Becky's troubles prior to her death and the reasons behind her fatal hit and run. During her visit to extract details from Logan about Becky, he demanded £10,000 in exchange for potential information. In the process he inadvertently mentioned Tia Wardley, though no further explanation was provided about their identity or connection to Becky, as reported by the Mirror. ‌ The mention of Wardley was enough to put Logan in hot water with a cellmate who shared a "mutual friend" they had both apparently angered, suggesting Logan needed to be permanently silenced. Following the cliffhanger, Harry confirmed his Corrie exit to his Instagram followers. This led fans to believe that Logan had met his demise and to speculation about who the mutual acquaintance is, and how they connect to the Becky storyline. ‌ Some predict a plot twist, suggesting that the individual behind Logan's demise could be none other than previous show antagonist Harvey Gaskell. Some suspect it's DI Costello or even Lisa's therapist Floyd, as they are eager for Lisa to cease her investigation into Becky's fate. Lisa herself was also suggested as a potential suspect, while both Becky and Tia were hinted by viewers to be the "mutual friend". ‌ One fan took to social media to declare: "Lisa definitely had Logan killed in prison." Another viewer speculated: "So that mutual friend? Costello? Kit? Tia? Or Becky herself?" A third chimed in: "Best guess at the moment is Costello or Floyd." Someone further added: "Was the killer sent by Costello?" while another queried: "Harvey?" Another comment read: "It's either Costello or Kit got Logan attacked inside."
